Great for a meal with your loved one.very basic inside but the service was excellent. The steaks were cooked spot on Very tasty all round. Will be going again. Prices good as well.

A super low key restaurant with a broad menu, Mediterranean influence.A really good cook, the entrecôte steak was superb. The chicken crema was a hit with my wife. The very fresh and well laid out prawn cocktail was good. Good, attentive staff willing to go that step further. Food cooked in front of diners was a great point of interest. We came last night and was greeted by friendly staff, we ordered drinks while choosing food, We had delicious prawn cocktails followed by steaks and chicken cooked to perfection more drinks and lovely desserts, staff were lovely ambience was great couldn't fault a thing, would definitely recommend it and can't wait to go back 😀

Visited as a family, food was amazing as per usual. Cannot fault the quality or the price. Top notch, keep doing what you are doing! Steak was like butter, pasta dishes and sauces were flavoursome, calzone was huge. Love the accompanying little bits of salad and fruit that comes with each dish.

Fantastic dinner for 12 of us! The steaks were amazing—cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend this restaurant for a memorable meal. Can't wait to go back!

Recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed, good quality food and service, an all-round excellent experience. Starters of Mussles Pate and Garlic mushrooms all superb. Main course were two steaks both cooked perfectly and a lasagne that was also spot on. Could not fault the quality of the food drink and service. We will certainly be back again soon.

Steaks are amazing. My sister in law had a pasta dish which she was well impressed with. The food is always good. Tina and Graham and the staff are spot on. We'll be back soon. They are carnivore friendly. This helps me out, pity there aren't more places like this.

My lovely friend was over for a holiday and had often said " I have never had a Steak that was good I am always disappointed" so after I kept recommending and mentioning Bambarinos we decided to go ... we ordered Fillet Steak ( I normally have Sirloin or T bone) we was not disappointed the food is fab and the Steak was divine it was so good Lynne actually went and thanked the chef we booking again for her next visit

We tried the takeaway first which was really nice. We had the chicken in a brandy sauce with a side salad and proper home made chips. The chicken was not dry and very soft to eat. Booked a table for the following night just managed to get in as it gets booked up really quickly.

I realise that I left a review at about this time last year, but we just enjoyed another great experience so I think Bambarinos deserve another. My wife and I live in Derbyshire and have a caravan at Trusthorpe. On Friday we opened up our caravan for this year and on Sunday evening I booked a table nice and early at 5-30. We are fogies and like to eat earlier nowadays. My wife had the Pollo Crema and the chicken was of very good quality. The sauce just looked perfect with mushrooms, cream and brandy so I had to beg a taste.It was really delicious.,! I ordered the Fillet Baroni cooked by Graeme who is a magician with fillet steak. A nearby family table with about eight people were obvious regulars and four of them ordered the Baroni as well so it must be popular. Cost is £19-95 which is excellent value considering the obvious high quality fillet and the chef’s magic. Throughout our visit the friendly welcome and efficient service was relaxing and just right. We enjoyed the house Shiraz. The fillet is presented sliced and is in a pepper sauce. Mine was perfect medium rare as ordered. The standard fillet steak is so great at Bambarinos that I thought ordering the Baroni might be a mistake but it wasn’t. It was just as enjoyable with its own style and character. The meals were served with the restaurant’s signature salad which has melon included. It works very well on the pallet. Before the month is out we go to our caravan again and I will definitely go back to dine again.👍

We found this place on trip advisor we went an give it a bash place is abit dated inside and out and is cash only but was very full and was the fullest any where had been all week whilst we'd been for a holiday in Lincolnshire so expectations were and it did not disappoint the food is amazing and the steaks 👌 didn't even have to cut them you knife just fell threw them, mine was a sirloin and wife's was fillet I cannot honestly believe the quality of the meat DEFINITELY up there with one of the best steaks I've had previously but certainly the cheapest, this place is so cheap £53 my bill with drinks (non alcoholic) 2 starters 2 mains just give them £60 was well worth it and if ever back in the area will 100% go again the fruit on plates is abit random but nice pallet cleanser whilst trying to tackle the epic portion sizes you got chips with the mains aswell 5* thank you

Staff friendly, prompt service but steaks, despite the good size, were over cooked and tasteless. Odd to have watermelon served with the steak, but maybe it was a Lincolnshire thing. Chips were good and so was the pate starter.

Absolutely fantastic little restaurant- we went for a hen night and they could not have been nicer, helping to decorate and serving lovely food at a very reasonable price.

We have visited here many times before but never written a review.From the exterior most people would probably not give the place a second look but if you are one of those people...GET BOOKED IN!!The menu is full of amazing, fresh food made in the open kitchen by the incredibly friendly staff. Between the 4 of us we had 4 starters, 4 mains , 2 deserts, 4 soft drinks , 2 coffees and 2 alcoholic drinks which came to the incredibly cheap price of £87.The food is second to none and with a small but varied menu you can easily have something different each time. The only downside to Bambarinos are the slightly drab toilets but if you are rating a restaurant on its toilets then you should probably just stay at home!Overall incredible place to eat! Well done all! :)

We were staying close to the area so decided to try here. The outside doesn't pack a punch but the steaks certainly do! Best cuts, amazing flavours and melt in the mouth steak. Highly recommend trying the steaks. We'll be back when we're next in the area

Have been many times as very local and once you get past the decor everything is fantastic. Decided on a payday Corona virus treat and had steak in pepper sauce and steak Dianne as a take away. Cooked to perfection as good as every time we've eaten in and such generous portions we made it last two dinners! A welcome plus during these weird times - they are only open for take away Friday and sat nights right now but cannot reccomend enough!

We usually eat in the restaurant and the food is great. They’re closed because of Coronavirus currently, but are open for takeaway. Don’t have one! Having been used to good quality food indoors, we decided we couldn’t go wrong, and ordered one. The pizza was ok (not a lot can go wrong I suppose) but the other dishes were awful - didn’t bear any resemblance to the restaurant food and the garlic bread was tough as old boots. Plus it was all lukewarm ( and we’d only ordered it 20 minutes before!) . No more takeaways for us.

Can't wait to treat myself this weekend, least I know me and the kids will get something decent in us. So why not treat yourself and get some yummy food while the world is going pear shaped

The food is amazing, generous portions, the most tender steak I’ve ever eaten. Colourful fresh salad and yummy chips. The restaurant isn’t very inviting to look at and the toilets are best avoided but saying that we will return yet again for the best food ever.

Food good quality and generous portions. Staff friendly. Exterior tatty and you would not know it is a restaurant. Owners need to put up a sign. The Interior also needs update, very old fashioned.

Seven of us travelled to what only can be described from the outside as a tatty looking eatery for a farewell meal ...... inside was a completely different to the exterior.... inside was clean and welcoming with a cosy friendly atmosphere. Four of us were seated whilst waiting for the rest of our party and tended to with drinks and we were given the menu to peruse.Once everyone arrived our order was taken ... the waiting staff were very attentive without being over bearing, making sure we had everything.... in a relatively short time our food started arriving and everyone had their meals at the same time.Between us we ordered seven different dishes and a couple of sides too each dish came with melon and slices of orange as garnish BEAUTIFUL! Steak was ordered and cooked to the exact specifications, all the chicken dishes were amazing side dishes scrumptious.We enjoyed dessert some of us had to share as the portion sizes were quite generous throughout the evening and belts were being loosened.The bill was ridiculously cheap and we discovered in leaving they do takeaway...... worth the visit and it certainly won’t be the last

We turned up at around 9pm without a booking, on the recommendation of someone local to the area and we're made to feel very welcome.As others have said, don't be put off by the outside...the food is great! All staff were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious! I had a fabulous lasagne and husband had a steak, which he said was excellent and the best he has had since the last best one...a number of years ago! Both came with a delightful, fresh mixed salad that included fruit.Drinks were very reasonable priced and the house wine can be had by the glass and is very palatable.Highly recommended food place!

I am a local and I've eaten in and had takeaway meals from bamberinos on several occasions. True - the place could do with a DIY SOS makeover but from what I've heard this is down to the skinflint owner of the premise NOT the chef and waiting staff. I can only comment on the pizzas and calzones on the menu as I'm not a steak fan. However the care and passion the chef puts into his product is worthy of any top Italian restaurant. Don't judge a book by it's cover and form your own opinion after tasting the food.

Great little restaurant which looks nothing from outside the food is incredible and the service friendly and efficient, can see the food being cooked from the restaurant. Would recommend this we have been three times and have always have excellent food. Do need to book. Do not take credit or other cards.

Last-minute decision to go out for a meal. You can usually rely on Bambarinos. If they can fit you in, they will. They were very busy but we got a table for three. The food was delicious. The prices are very sensible and the drinks don't cost an arm and a leg. You must remember to take cash as they don't do cards. Don't be put off with the outside of the restaurant. It's the great food you go for. There is quite a lot of off-road parking. If you don't enjoy you are very hard to please.

Enjoyed the Carbonara, most of my friends had a steak which they all said was great. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, we had a large group of people and they handled the numbers very well.

Driven passed here loads of times and have always been curious. The place has a good reputation locally for the food. The place itself is in need of serious attention and TLC. It almost looks semi derelict from the outside and internally looks like something from the 80’s/90’s. I was here with a work colleague and it suited ok to get a couple of good steaks plus a couple of portions of mussels. We both enjoyed our meals. The staff were friendly and the food was reasonably priced. If you can see through the state of the place, give it a go. If you’re looking to impress a partner, potential client or something along those lines, probably best to swerve this one.

We went to Bambarinos on Saturday evening to celebrate my Wifes birthday

Lovely food, great service, brilliant atmosphere! Hosts made the night. Carbonara very tasty. House merlot very good, ordered one bottle, had to order a 2nd!

Our first visit to Bambarinos and can only say it was excellent, service was quick and friendly a great atmosphere, the food I can only describe as outstanding with the portions more than enough, prices are very reasonable, we will certainly be returning soon. We visited on a Tuesday evening and the place was full to capacity I think that says it all, well worth a visit you will not be disappointed.

Went to this restaurant following many people telling us how good it was. We went to celebrate my parents anniversary. The service is friendly and accomodating. The food is out of this world. We enjoyed the side salads and each had a different meal, one calzone, one pizza one pasta and one chicken dish. We also had desserts because it had my fathers favourite banana split available. Lovely meal, prices very good and food excellent. My Father keeps asking when we will be returning.

Not having lived in Lincolnshire long we are trying out all it has to offer. We stumbled upon Bambarinos and thought we'd give it a try. The decor had a continental homely feel to it, it almost made you feel like you were abroad on holiday. The staff were very welcoming and cheerful the place had a nice atmosphere despite not being full on a Saturday evening which when we tasted the wonderful food surprised us.

Had prawn cocktail to start. Then had Steak Diane for main. Both excellent, the steak was one of the best I have had anywhere. Excellent food and excellent service and very reasonable prices. Recommended.

we had a meal for four people on a busy friday night, all 4 meals were superb, all piping hot cooked to perfection and very filling, i eat a lot of italian food and asked for a chicken risotto which although wasn't on the menu, the waitress said wouldn't be a problem and it was one of the best risotto i've had. All four of us enjoyed the food the friendly service and the surroundings and even though it was busy the staff were friendly and took time with each table,overall excellent

As the last review states the place is tatty inside and out and the toilets are underwhelming. The staff and friendly and helpful. The food was I have to say very good but we too were amazed at the fruit bowls served with the main course.

Heard & read so much about this place that we had to visit but really was a waste of money. The only positives are the staff were friendly & the chicken was tasty. Shame but it ends there. How can anyone serve water melon, honeydew melon & orange on the same plate as chicken or steak??? It doesn't make any culinary sense. Yes we got fruit with starter & main - crazy!! It was everything everybody had said about the dingy decor & peeling paint & scruffy toilets. If you want a decent Italian meal head down the road to Gerardos in Mablethorpe with genuine Italians running the business or try the pizza & pasta at Presto also only a 15 minute drive away in Mablethorpe. They are far superior to this ram shackled establishment & about the same for price. I know where we have booked for next Friday & it certainly isn't Bamabarinos.

My family ate here a few days ago, The outside looks run down and maybe not the place to go but trust me its worth it. The food from this place was great and the steak was to die for so glad i went, The open kitchen makes great viewing to watch your food been prepared, the place to go for steak salmon and pasta but you will need to book as so busy

Consistent good food and service, whenever you visit. On this occasion, I had the surf and turf: steak and salmon. Both meat and fish were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Really well priced items on the menu, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

This restaurant is situated on the crossroads at Manby, it's outward appearance does not do it justice, it is essential to book. This was our second visit and both times it was busy with local residents, they also offer a takeaway service.

Return visit, anniversary celebration. Warm welcome as always, fitted us in despite packed out with buzzing atmosphere. Four different starters, all delicious. Steaks are superb, tender and cooked precisely to preference. My wife is very particular about her rare selection, she said "Best ever" This venue is very popular, no its not posh, however the staff are efficient, the food is excellent, You need to book especially at weekends. Well done Graham and Tina, a great experience for people that enjoy good food.

Went with the missus for our monthly date night. Been meaning to come here for ages after hearing & reading all the good reports about the place. True, it does need updating & a lick of paint but we go for the food not to gaze at wallpaper. We both ordered steaks, mine with a peppercorn sauce. After a very short wait they arrived, both accompanied by slices of melon, which seems an odd combination but trust me it works! My peppercorn sauce was one of the best I've ever tasted & the steak just melted in the mouth, very tasty! The only let down was not many puddings to choose from. We ordered 2 chocolate gateau only to be told that they had run out. Service was good & background music was pleasant - you cant beat abit of Dolly & country music. We'll definitely be returning & reccomending

Had a fantastic meal on Saturday for a family friends birthday, there were 8 of us in total, excellent service, all meals arrived together and piping hot. We have been eating here for years. Never been disappointed. Graeme and Tina most accommodating. Food excellent. We have our favourite chicken dishes,but often have beautiful steaks as well. If we have visitors, we always come here, and everyone has always been really pleased. Must be very popular,because unless you want to eat really early, as we do, it may be diffict to book a table. This is a family-run Italian-style restaurant with no pretentions. The food is well cooked and the range is extensive. You can choose a budget meal or a pricier one, so it caters for a range of tastes and pockets. The family are friendly and the service good. We had steaks which were beautifully cooked. My only problem was that there is no efficient extractor for the frying and our clothes smelled afterwards, as the kitchen is open to the restaurant. Also, credit cards are not accepted, so take cash. However, the house wine is palatable and the welcome is superb.

I was wonting to book this Italian restaurant for 5 as it was my nieces 50th and I couldn't get hold of the owner all week hence they were on holiday. But they were back in time for the birthday girl on the Friday ( our last night away). We had banners and balloon's put up over our table which I thought was a nice gesture. All meals were fabulous. The steaks were the best so said my sister and my chicken in mushroom and cream brandy sauce was very nice. My husband had the scampi and he said it tasted a lot more different to the usual you get but loved it. Drinks were very reasonable but ask the waiter for a separate bill for the drinks or else it will be put down as one item. Loved this place but you have to book.

The restaurant came highly recommended - so we tried it. The staff were friendly, the main ingredients, prawns, mussels, sirloin, chicken were of a high quality but the sauces did not live up to expectations, they were gloopy lacking any subtlety of flavour. For some reason every dish we had starter and main was accompanied by a selection of fruit slices, which were fresh and well presented but not complementary to the dishes selected. If you like faux Italian 70's fayre then probably the place to go. If you are put off by grimy decor stay away.

We've lived in Lincolnshire for over 13 years now, and have past this place many times. From the outside it has always looked a little worse for wear, and the car park seemed to have been used as a scrap car site.But many of the people I have got to know around here have told me the food is great.But up until a couple of weeks ago I kept away because of the scruffy exteria.Anyway, we decided one evening to throw caution to the wind and try it out.The outside as I said is very tired, the inside is no different. It's old, scruffy and about 30 years out of date. The paint on the walls is dirty from years of being touched or rubbed against. The tables are loose and wobbly (well ours was wobbly anyway) and the carpet is filthy. The carpets are so worn that they have been patched up and stuck down with duct tape.But, I decided that we should try the food as everyone that I know has been there enjoyed the grub.The waitress was lovely, very friendly and took our order. Drinks came up quickly and with a smile.The menu was good with a nice choice available. The started was absolutely delicious. It was a seafood medley that really hit the spot. So, so far so good.Being an Italian restaurant I decided to try their pizza. I ordered a meat feast and it came up fairly quickly. It was nice, nothing outstanding, but ok. My wife had fish and she said it was good.The salads were very tasty, and I loved the fact it had melon in it.Then when I had finished, I looked up at the pictures on the walls. The first thing I noticed was the amount of dust on them. I doubt that they've seen a duster since they went up. But the biggest horror was yet to come.The toilets were,,,well, I've seen better at a football ground. Sticky floors and a smell that made me feel like throwing up everything I've just eaten. But this still in my opinion not the worst thing I found.Sitting at the table I looked up at the ceiling fan. Oh my life,,,,,It was absolutely filthy. I had to look closer because it was so dirty and covered in dust that it looked furry. It hadf that oily greasey dust look to it that you get from a kitchen extractor thats been left for years without a clean. God knows what has fallen off it and into who's dinner over the years. The only consolation is that it looked as if it hasn't worked for many years.So to summerise,,Staff were lovely, can't fault how nice they were.Food was nice, and some of it was great. But tainted with the thought that someting from the walls, pictures or fan may have fallen onto it.The outside and inside of the restaurant are terribly in need of a good deep clean. It is without a shadow of a doubt the most disgusting place I've eaten a meal in. I cannot understand how people go back time and time again when it's so dirty. I can only assume that they live in squalid conditions themselves so are use to it.It's a shame because the people as I said are lovely and the food good, they obviously put a lot of care into cooking nice food. Which does not make sense to me. If they care so much about how their food prepared so nicely, that they care so little about the restaurant.If it was a clean nicely kept business I would have given it 4 stars.But although the food may get 4, the rest just brings it down to nothing.Such a shame. I hope that they take it on board that it needs to be cleaned, but I'll not hold my breath.
