My cousin and I just happened to be walking past here when I was visiting Nottingham, and thought the sandwiches looked too good to pass up. We took advantage of the outdoor seating area and I ordered a cheese and tomato toasted flatbread which came with salad, bottled flavoured water, and a cherry & almond muffin. All of the food tasted great. They were taking part in the Eat Out to Help Out scheme so overall it costed me £3.90. Would definitely return on my next visit to Nottingham.

Whilst shopping with my Daughter recently around the City Centre,we ventured towards a place we had frequented before, only to notice that it had closed from its Initial place and relocated further down the road on the opposite side, albeit it under different signage.Feeling quite peckish and wanting to rest our weary feet,we went inside and ordered the Breakfast in a Ciabatta, which consisted of Bacon and Sausage, and came with side salad and a Nice Mug of Tea.Feeling quite Cold and Tired from trailing around the Shops, the Mug of Hot Tea was more than Welcome. The Ciabatta was quite a decent size too,and with a dash of Brown Sauce for good measure,it was well appreciated. The Cost including the Mug of Tea or Coffee came to £4.50p, which we both thought to be reasonable, although the Breads on view that were on offer, can be a touch expensive, yet Nice and Fresh,so I suppose you get what you pay for.Good place to have a nice Breakfast Sandwich in fresh Tasty Bread, with a Hot Drink included.

Went here on friday night with my gluten free pal, checked ahead via facebook if they had GF options and reserved a table (very friendly and quick responses via facebook!) they do a gluten free pizza base that they buy in, but it is prepared where the gluten is FYI. My gluten free friend absolutely loved it as she never gets to have a decent pizza. We shared the antipasti board and the gluten free pizza, both excellent. The antipasti board a bit of a random mix of meats, smoked cheese, stilton and loads of salad and a bowl of olives with some warm bread- which actually was a nice surprise, though could have done with some sort of dressing or oil and vinegar dipping bowl for the bread, or maybe some butter? The pizza was lovely, plenty of toppings, really nice tomato sauce and served piping hot. Prices were surprisingly cheap and service was excellent, a very nice relaxed atmosphere and we got given some 2 for 1 vouchers to use next time too, we will definitely go ahead, the lunch sandwiches looked delicious. What a nice place.

The metal cutlery was a very thin metal so when you use it unfortunately it hurts your hands, also I recommend not to set at the table by the door at the bottom of the stairs, it’s a bit chilly in the winter. I decided to make trip advisor to write a review due to how amazing our experience was here. We aren’t local to Nottingham and we came down to visit for the day and came across this quirky cafe that we decided to give a try - a good decision that it was! As soon as we walked in the staff asked if we was ok and if we have been here before we stated that we was not from Nottingham and they began to explain what they had to offer with all sourdough based products such as sandwiches that had a variety of meat and vegetarian options, pizzas being as cheap as £3, fresh salads, brownies, Italian cakes and much more. We ordered a mixed salad which was mixed leaves filled with a range of fresh colourful vegetables and two foccicias one goats cheese and Brie and a pastarmi and Stilton which both came with mixed leaves on the side - the sandwiches were perfect with the right amount of cheese meat and vegetables while the bread itself tasted as good as it looks - soft and fresh! All together including soft drinks and cakes it came up to just under £20! When our food arrived the staff asked with a smile if we would like any other condiments such as napkins and sauces with our meal and every so often the staff would ask if everything was ok with our meal - great service and food I will defiantly be returning and would highly recommend!

Stopped here while shopping for a late lunch - excellent value for money, and really nice food. My wife and daughter shared a lovely fresh pizza, and I had a generously filled mezzalunna. The only slight negative was that my cup of tea was quite small - for the price I would expected either a small pot or a larger cup. Other than that, couldn't fault it, and we will be back. Just bear in mind they don't serve pizza until after 3pm.

I have extremely mixed feelings about this. A young girl at front of house.,so to speak, was polite and very very busy, but she would be as her work colleague was not so. Any excuse to leave her work station, this resulted in her enthusiasm to create pizzas. I ordered 2.The courgette pizza was so sparse it didn't Warrent being called that. Plus the courgette was on one 1/4of a 12".The same for the sun dried tomato and olive, 4olives,1sun dried tomato, on yet another 12"pizza.No effort was made to replenish the stock, in which I may have had the dregs!! My son doesn't like spinach and asked for one without spinach, they said they could not make fresh ones but could take off spinach off which is not acceptable. He is autistic and very mild mannered but was very upset. I was charged £1.80 for the tea to see that the box was Knightsbridge which is a tea from Lidl for £0.75 for a box of 40. I can't believe the margin they are making on that and it's not amazing quality tea either. For me this really disappointed my visit as I felt robbed. I would consider at least servings Twinings for that price.

There is a wide choice to eat. But, there is one fault and that is the length of time it takes to process an order. The system is that the customer queues to select and order the food and then proceeds to payment. The cashier also prepares the drinks and this leads to a bottleneck especially if there is a customer incapable of making a decision on what tea to have.

I’ve been walking past this place forever and today’s the day I finally tried it out. First thing I notice is the sheer amount of choice, plenty of options for both breads and pizzas so it did take us a minute to choose but the lady who served us was very friendly anyway. I went for a spinach, salami and pepper focaccia and my girlfriend a cheese and cured meat slightly smaller option. These, combined with crisps and a couple of drinks came to about £16 so relatively cheap for a quick lunch. We then proceeded upstairs while we waited for our food to be heated and had a look around. Upstairs is like 2 separate rooms, the whole decor has a really cool vibe, very chilled. We picked a big table in the “library” room, and I think were the only two upstairs, and were both happy that there were multiple board games on offer. We did have to move some old plates which was a little annoying considering there were about 1,000 members of staff downstairs but either way we started to set up our game. Before we had even finished reading the rules our choices arrived, accompanied by what was possibly the worst “side salad” I’ve ever seen, a few limp bits of lettuce that is. The main meal was absolutely lovely although my girlfriend wasn’t overly keen about the huge difference in portion size as she had loads less than me. We did also both notice rather a small amount of meat on our sandwiches but the bread and the cheese was absolutely excellent so it was forgiven. I also dunno what brand of crisps they were but we were both amazed at how good they were, slightly disconcerting that a packet of crisps stole the show. After dinner we were so chilled that we didn’t want to leave, we sat playing games for a good hour and I have to say in that time no one cleared our plates (maybe that’s something to work on?) All in all though, really good place if you fancy a quick, although admittedly not that quick in our case, bite for lunch.

Actually went to the Market Street venue but couldn’t find it on trip advisor. Had the English breakfast which was reasonably priced. The sausages and mushroom were good, nice tasting and well cooked. The menu said the breakfast came with poached eggs, though the two eggs which turned up were clearly not poached. They were hard and rubbery & I could not eat them. The waitress admitted the eggs were in fact baked in the oven and the menu was misleading in this regard, though had no intention to rectify the situation or make a good will gesture. Admittedly I had high hopes or the toast (being a bakery), particularly being made from fresh good quality bread, but I found the slices tough and I question if it was made from one or two day old bread.

Popped in for lunch on 13th August. We each ordered a £3.50 hot sandwich, which we ate inside. I was suprised at how little filling there was inside mine, I had ordered the cheese and Pepperoni melt. The bread was nice, like a toasted pitta bread. Quite a tasty sandwich despite the sparse filling.

Finally stopped here to have lunch with a friend from work. Great choice and there is seating over two floors. We ordered and took our drinks upstairs and the food was delivered to the table, It is a little pricey for lunch but worth it once in a while.

It's quite overpriced and I think it's pretty overrated for what it is. Good range of sandwiches and breads but expensive for what it is. Nothing stood out for me.

Ugly Bread Bakery did a marvelous job of outside catering for my party. 60 pizzas were delivered fresh, warm and tasting great. Jade from Ugley Bread was really clear in her communication with me and the service was good. I would use them again.

They had a variety of sandwiches and pizzas . The coffee was nice as well , however the fruit juice was not tasty. Nice view from the 1st floor . A little bit overpriced.

This is an ideal place to stop for lunch and to rehydrate when exploring Nottingham. The ambiance is good, the service excellent and the food outstanding for flavour, choice and value. What also stands out us that it is clearly a regular stop for local residents as well as tourists, which I always take to be a good sign. I was so glad to find it.

Visited today and would recommend going here to anyone looking for somewhere for lunch in nottingham. There is a huge choice of fresh food and cakes. They will heat up/toast what you want and bring it over swiftly. Reasonably priced and enough space to relax inside and out.

All the food looked very well displayed hence I ordered. The fillings were fresh but the bread it was in was stale and hard. I paid £8 for it and it all went in the bin.

After finding this hidden gem in the back streets of Nottingham, it has become our regular stop for an amazing priced pizza. The service is very quick and are never waiting for any more than five minutes, so when shopping is your main priority, the Ugly Bread Bakery is PERFECT for a delicious, easy, and most importantly quick lunch.

Stopped in for a bite to eat. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Choose the filling and wait for your mezaluna to be toasted for you.

Nice selection of fresh food, chilled and hot drinks. Healthy and tasty. Great atmosphere and nice care over the aesthetics.

So, the drinks were nice, my friends got shisha, I didn't and they said it's nice as well. However, why the one star? Because if you enter this you are greeted with not only very rude people, but they take your ID and photograph it on the laptop. I get that they serve alcohol and they need to check for ID, check, but don't take a photo of it! This has always been a concern for me and my friends. So, my genuine advice for Hukka lounge: just do some training for your staff to be less rude and more professional, and make sure whoever is at the door to only check and not to take a photo of any IDs. Otherwise the place is good. Thanks
