The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

I visited ceasars on a friday night with my friends and we were suprised to get a table as they were very busy but they accommodated us, the food was delicious and the service was fantastic, i eat the monk fish and it was to die for. Definitely going back 🤗

Amazing food, little perplexed at the bad reviews. We went for dinner as a family of 4. Every course was extremely nice , however obviously some stood out, more than others. The garlic prawns I personally could have eaten by the bucket full. Lobster ravioli was also beautiful. My husband drooled over the steak, it was cooked to perfection. The veal masala was also nice but I had already fallen in love with the King prawns and just wanted to order more. The staff were so polite helpful and friendly, despite the restaurant being extremely busy. They clearly work hard for their wages. We will definitely visit again. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely evening.

A favourite for a number of years somehow missed the mark. Ambience and service very good. Unfortunately Sea bass with mussels presented as 20 mussels, two prawns and an added thin sea bass without any cohesion. Salmon pasta lacked bite and little salmon with very few prawns. Unfortunately feedback was not acknowledged and we left feeling sad.

Decent sized portions, nice pasta.

Después de haber reservado para 12 personas toda la experiencia fue terrible el personal fue grosero tan pronto como nos sentamos el compró nuestra comida que tuvimos que preordenar los platos menos fríos la comida era platos de pollo soso wer sobre pechuga de pollo seco cocido tuvimos interpelación y abuso de otros huéspedes porque estaban borrachos el personal no intervino trataron de cobrarnos £ 24 para sacar un pastel de cumpleaños £ 2 por rebanada que es ridículo este lugar está sobrevalorado el gerente podía ver menos problemas y nunca una vez trató de resolver los problemas 2 de se superó cargado este lugar se siente como todo lo que quieren es su dinero teniendo en cuenta que es italiano no había nada italiano sobre la comida que he tenido mejor del supermercado sobreprecio y el personal necesita formación de servicio al cliente... NUNCA MÁS

Very popular Italian cafe in a quiet square. Excellent coffee.

Excellent food and service as always. We have been several times and we’re never disappointed. Simply the best restaurant in the area.

I don't usually go for Italian food, but WOW, this place was amazing. The seevice was just spot on and the food was the best I have had in a long time. The pricing was sensible but felt I had eaten a meal at a top restrauny in London. Castleton is a delightful little vilage in the peaks and as a rule, you don't expect fine dining. But this was it. This was for my 60th birthday, and trust me, the older you get the harsher the critique of food as you have eaten in quite a few places. Last year my wife and I traveled to Italy, and none of the restraunts we stayed in came close to this one. Those who wrote the negative reviews really did not deserve to eat here. They clearly had no idea what good food was like and probably write poor reviews irespective. Needless to say, thank you for a fantastic evening.

Booked to go here for our short stay in Castleton. The food was so good we ate the following night and were very lucky they could squeeze in so definitely book ahead. Nothing g was too much for the fro t of staff and they made some fantastic recommendations. We loved the lamb and chicken shuffle truffle pasta dish. With a lot of ‘pub food’ establishments, it was really great to have food with a sense of occasion. Also had a very very nice bottle of Rioja which we would also recommend 🍷 If you’re going to Castleton - book it, you won’t regret it 😄

Good food for sure but the pizza needed a little more flavor and should have come hot to the table.

Not open at all. Had a booking but when we arrived whole place was closed up. Apparently its been closed for a few weeks.

Amazing food and in a beautiful setting with 10/10 ambience! Food was delicious and would definitely re visit if in the area again.
