Absolutely amazing authentic food! Very reasonably priced too! Took my daughters here tonight, such a lovely atmosphere for a Sunday. Amazing Staff! Cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

Not great food was not impress our food was lukewarm some had to go back chips with fish were black we did complain staff were lovely

Amazing gelato! We came here twice on our trip in Edinburgh, first time we got blueberry cheesecake gelato, and the second time we got kiwi sorbet. Both delicious and staff are very friendly. Definitely stop here if you find yourself on Cockburn Street.

We only had coffees in the place. The palace was super quiet as the only customers were us at the time, afternoon approx 4pm. The place is clean and tidy, with music playing. The fridge or some equipment was a bit noisy.

However, the food didn’t quite meet my expectations—I was hoping for something a bit more flavorful. The fish dish I ordered tasted just like something I would make at home. My husband had pasta with duck, but there were only a few small pieces of duck in the dish. We came to the conclusion that pizza is the best choice here, as most guests seemed to be ordering it. I also noticed that there is no dress code some diners arrived straight from the gym, wearing sports shorts and carrying large gym bags.

Took my daughter and her friends to celebrate her 13th Birthday , so 2 tables , one for the girls , one for my wife and step mum. The staff were amazing , welcoming and friendly as always, the food was delicious , they allowed us to serve my wife's home made cake , sing happy birthday etc . Couldn't nor have asked for a better time , so a huge thank you to Est for a brilliant day

Excellent tasting food. We were made to feel like family. Lauren served us well and gave that 'extra care' Will definitely visit again. Perfect. Lunch for my Sons birthday.

Great staff, wonderful menu, phenomenal food

We are local and come here fairly regularly and it’s always a bit hit or miss. Today was the worst. Service was incredibly slow. Forgot our appetisers and after a nudge served it with the starter. Only able to order one drink. Took forever to pay the bill.
