The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Italian food

Had a brilliant night at Hukka Lounge – the vibe was relaxed and lively, just what we were after. The food was fresh and full of flavour, and the shisha was some of the best we’ve had in a while. Big shoutout to Harri for looking after us – his service was spot on from start to finish. Made us feel welcome and made sure everything ran smoothly. Really appreciated it! Will definitely be returning – highly recommend if you’re after a great spot to chill with good food and good company.

This pizza is the best in Harpenden. The restaurant is authentic with a warm atmosphere and great service.

What a lovely authentic Italian restaurant with great food and such lovely staff. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening there with our Belgian friends, who were equally impressed. Thank you so much.

Went here as a final meal of our holiday. We have eaten all over the world and we have to say that our meal this evening was out of this world. The flavours were simply glorious. The service was brilliant as well. Italian food doesn’t get better than this. Thank you for making our evening wonderful !!!

Had a lovely meal here, food was freshly cooked and very tasty, the house wine was also good. I had the brushetta followed by chicken with aubergine and both were lovely. My husband had the cheesecake for dessert which was also very good. Staff were friendly and food arrived at the appropriate times. All in all a lovely evening

Popped in to have a coffee and light snack with friends. The coffee was so strong it was awful. I asked for some hot water to weaken it and after 10 minutes ( coffee now cool) she brought me some cold water. I explained the coffee was too strong and asked if i could have a fresh one as she had only given me cold water. The 2nd coffee was even stronger. 30 minutes into my visit, 2 sips of coffee later. I decided to pay and leave. At this point she charged me for 2 coffees. I explained that I had only ordered a second coffee as it took too long to bring water and she said it had been my choice and I had to pay for both. Rude, unhelpful and awful coffee.

Great little gem of a place in Mayfair for quick eats that are also pretty damn good. Stop in, grab a take away and head to Green Park. Loved it

Food is high quality excellent potion size and amazing pizza and pasta

Delicious well-made food combined with a warm atmosphere and lovely staff made for a great evening. We were seated at the bar on a busy Friday night but still had a comfortable time and could order from the full menu. The menu highlights included the Parmesan soufflé and the freshly made doughnuts with crème diplomat and rhubarb (from the specials board), which were hot and fluffy and a great way to finish the meal. Highly recommend the rhubarb paloma as an excellent cocktail alongside all the food. A satisfying way to spend an evening!

Very nice, quaint little Italian restaurant perfect for a romantic meal for two. The lasagna was delicious and pizzas were also very nice. Sadly went we went there was no burrata, but the Smokey cheese alternative was very nice. Would recommend

Been here a few times and just seems to get better every time.have now changed my view of this restaurant,couldn't believe what I witnessed yesterday 8th February, one of the brothers that own the restaurant was in m&s foodhall buying a lasagne and taking it into the restaurant, I've order this in the past and was told all there food is freshly prepared and cooked on site,now I don't really believe it's all home cooked and traditional recipes as claimed.

Pub atmosphere. The rooms were clean and had all the trimmings. Bathroom extras. Tea cofee biscuits etc. Compared to other establishments nearby. Full choice of breakfast included. Excellent value for money.
