Nico's Pizza Pasta in Belfast

Fuimos a un almuerzo de cumpleaños, ya que pensamos que sería una buena opción, sin embargo yo y otros dos pedimos el especial pensando que sería bueno. Qué equivocados estábamos obtuvimos un pedazo de pollo desagradable barato con unas 4 patatas asadas de mármol y el llamado brócoli de ajo que parecía más bien 3 hebras de hierba. Mi amigo consiguió las albóndigas con pasta de tagliatelle no estaba mal, pero las albóndigas estaban frías, entonces pedimos desiertos que tardaron siglos en llegar, pero estaban bien. Para colmo, hay un cargo de servicio del 10% para las fiestas de 5 o más que estafan. Básicamente comida barata a precios de calidad. Jóvenes sirviendo eran agradables. No podría o recomendaría este lugar a nadie y sin duda no volveré.

Delivery time was fine but the food was awful. I threw it out. The mozzarella sticks were really salty. The pizza was salty, really greasy with very little toppings and it was just laden with fat and was hard. It really wasn’t nice.

Food was lovely and driver was really nice and accommodating

Dough didn’t seem fresh. The pizza itself was both over-salted and under-flavoured. And it was supposed to have goats cheese, but there was just a tiny hint of goats cheese. Not the quality of pizza I’m used to from Nico’s.

I loved this places food used to be absolutely great. I used to order multiple times a week as the pizzas used to be so good. but after 1 uncooked pizza I received I've never had so much hassle in explaining what they sent me as they were adamant they didn't send it but they took my money. just a shame nicos used to be so good

That was lovely. My little girl has downsyndrome & is really fussy. She ate all of the pasta. Will definitely be ordering again. Thank you

Pizza was delivered completely cold. The order was tagged as “delivered” in the app over 20 minutes before the driver actually showed up.

Primera vez en Nicos y tengo que decir que fue una gran experiencia. Mi marido y yo fuimos por nuestro aniversario de bodas. Cuando estábamos sentados nuestro servidor Sheila nos trajo un vaso cada uno de burbujas en la casa como estábamos celebrando. Tengo que decir que el servicio era brillante, especialmente de Sheila y la comida era exuberante. Grandes porciones tengo la carbonara con pollo de pan de ajo. Mi marido consiguió una pizza y algunas alitas era encantador.

We order was 20 minutes late to which I then clicked the my order is late button on the app, an update was sent via text to my phone saying it would be with us in 20 minutes, that time passed , I then rang the restaurant who said they tried to deliver and called my number several times, I had no missed calls was on my phone the whole time and our living room which I was sitting looks directly out to the front door and no delivery was attempted. Our food ended up being way over an hour late

Received notification from restaurant that food had been dispatched at 720pm, and it took 40 mins to arrive for a trip that should have taken 15mins. As a result the food was cold and needed to be heated up in oven. Tasted good after but you wouldn’t expect to have to do this when paying money for delivery.

Delicious pizza, and the chips were great too. Definitely ordering from here again!

Great, food arrived hot and fresh

Have had food from Nicos several times before and always really enjoyed it. However last night my view was irreparably changed. As I was waiting for my food to be prepared for 40 mins I observed a female member of staff practising unsafe food hygiene. On my arrival she was wearing blue gloves. I watched her go from task to task without washing her hands or changing the gloves. She went from preparing and handling food to emptying bins. She occasionally disappeared out the back of the kitchen and quickly returned with food items. I observed this cycle for at least 30 minutes. I felt I needed to challenge her on her on this when I then witnessed her retrieving a pizza out of one of the pizza ovens and then proceeding to poke her grubby gloved hands into the top of another customers pizza. I was absolutely disgusted! She seemed completely aloof that her practises were anything other than acceptable. A male member of staff then appeared and offered a rather weak apology. Again, he did not demonstrate any insight into this food safety issue! With this, the female disappeared out the back of the kitchen. She returned again after a brief period, again with gloves on. She may have washed her hands and/ or changed her gloves however I am not entirely convinced. I have no idea how long this female member of staff was on shift but for all I know she had been carrying out the same cycle of practises for an entirety of a shift whilst wearing the same gloves. To add insult to injury, no refund or any alternative complaint resolution offered in light of this experience!

Delivery guy did mark it delivered a solid 5-10 minutes before actually delivering it, so my appetiser was a large serving of "am I actually going to get my dinner?". Once it arrived and was accounted for, the food was lovely as always. Great value food from here every time tbh

Family pizzas perfect for my husband and family. I personally love the Mare as I'm the only one who eats seafood. Friendly staff and the best food. X

Delivery time was okay. Food was a terrible experience uncharacteristic of Nico's. I ordered a vegetarian dish but was send a dish full of bacon. I'm horribly disappointed, waste of money really, JustEat never refunds cases like this and I can't eat the food that was delivered. I usually sing Nico's praises but tonight was a bad one.

I love this spot so much, the food is always 10/10 and the service amazing! Me and my boyfriend went on Thursday night and they forgot a couple of toppings on my pizza. The waitress was so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much hassle. I wouldn’t of minded just sticking the toppings on and throwing it back in for a few minutes but they made me a fresh pizza and even sent us free garlic bread. Everytime I go, the front of house staff go above and beyond and the chefs make the food so delicious! Can’t wait to go back

2nd time ordering recently its arrived barely warm which i now have to reheat in the oven. disappointing as i really did like Nicos.

Food was amazing as it always is, never fail to impress. . However delivery driver caused some confusion and caused me to chase delivery with Nicos as she'd marked the order as delivered 10 minutes before she arrived at my door.

First time ordering, lovely food, will be back

I was not available until the estimated delivery time. Normally I would like food to be early but I had a last minute errand to run and had to leave the house, I arrived within the estimated time but my food was nowhere to be seen. I tried to leave a note saying that if I was late or the food was early to just leave it at the door step but I couldn't find a place to do that after I had made the order. I saw that I had calls made to me but I was driving at the time (10 minutes before the delivery estimate) and I was unable to answer.

This place never fails! Best pizzas in the country. I try ordering atlest once a week...The chefs have to have Italian in their blood to be that great at cooking up pizzas fit for Italy lol! Delivery drivers are a credit to the shop!

The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious and plentiful. We really enjoyed our visit and the chat about limoncello!

One of our regular takeaway treats! Generous toppings on an excellent base, cooked to perfection. Toppings are tasty and more generous than offered by the other local pizzerias we have tried.

Very Young lad with his mate in the car doing the delivery blaring music all over the street. Had to go out after him to the car to get my dips, thankfully got him before he took off. Pizza was cold and not great. Disappointed

Sent the wrong pizza the first time. Called the store and they sent the correct one straight away within 15mins of the call. Girl on the phone was great to deal with and apologised for the mix up. Told me to keep the first pizza too. 5* customer service, on top of 5* food as always. I never review but HIGHLY recommend!

CHANGED THE DOUGH AND INGREDIENTS. it used to be an authentic Italian takeaway, now it’s like a cheap dominoes. Please change it back ! It used to be the best!

This place is usually good as I have gotten from here in the past but slightly disappointed tonight as the food was late and and items were missing and the food was cold to top it off

Possibly the best pizza takeaway in Belfast, no doubt. Very slightly nudges Little Italy for me as they have a bit more variety and pizza is always on the firmer/crunchy crust side which I prefer.

I ordered a margarita pizza...... it's just to receive a normal, run-of-the-mill cheese pizza. Nothing about it remotely resembles what a margarita pizza is or should be. Huge disappointment.

Really poor food. The garlic breads were burnt and so inedible. I ordered bolognaise and chilli and basil. 2 chilli and basil dishes came. Too much sauce and not enough actually pasta. Wont be ordering again

Pizza was great as usual and arrived piping hot. Pleasant driver. The only downside was that the chicken side we ordered was a bit overcooked and therefore chewy.
