Nice atmosphere. Food was good, my husband had the Chicken Parm and I had the Roast Butternut Squash Risotto. We had the Nutella cheesecake for dessert which was good but it was more of a Nutella mousse pie and the crust was really hard so couldn’t put the spoon or fork through it. Service was satisfactory.

This place is amazing, food is fantastic, staff is so nice and amazing, cocktails are on point. Monica was appointed our server and was wonderful.

Really enjoy this place. The vibe and atmosphere are lovely and the staff are great. Great value for money. The portion sizes are good and overall not too pricey. I absolutely loved the miniature dessert, it was the perfect finisher for me since I thought I would burst after so much pasta!

It seems that they thought we were foreigners and instead of giving us tap water they brought a bottle of water, 6.50 pounds for it! We saw water jugs in other tables but it was too late. Food is ok but maybe a bit overpriced.

DW/CG visited Fratelli on a Friday night. We were fortunate to be seated right away without a wait. Our server was initially very attentive and answered our questions. The atmosphere was enjoyable. Unique decor and ambiance. We put in orders for lasagna and pizza. And some red wine. The pizza was very good -- crust was amazing and cheese was not greasy or oily. DW was really happy with this choice. The lasagna for CG came out in a small pan. It was hot as molten lava. Poor CG could not touch it for at least a half hour. DW had finished his pizza before the lasagna could be tasted, and even then it burnt the roof of the mouth. And sadly it was not very good -- mostly sauce, little flavor, and no pasta noodles that we could find. The lasagna recipe needs to be reviewed. And we could benefit from bread and salad with our orders. I mentioned the server was initially attentive. This changed after the food was brought. We must have waited an hour for the check. We had to track down the server to get checked out. We hope Fratelli can make some adjustments to become an amazing Italian restaurant.

Not great food, way overpriced, poor service.

My Daughter and I had a wonderful meal here, the staff were fantastic, very attentive and enthusiastic as well as helpful and happy. The food was great, I loved that you could choose small or larger portions and such a variety. I went for the mushroom risotto, which was so flavoursome and perfectly seasoned. My 9 year old had the mozzarella sticks, the make your own pizza which was fun and really tasty, and a miniature desert, which wasn't that miniature, and a kids milk drink 😆 the experience where my daughter got to wear a chefs hat and apron made her day (it was her birthday) along with the staff members. It was reasonably priced too.

My family called into Fratelli tonight and got six meals, three of them were OK, one of them was great and two of them were terrible, not ok especially at those prices. The margarita pizza was awful and cost £17 and the halibut on special was overcooked, a tiny portion and in a bad tasting sauce that had a real burnt taste to it. Halibut was £34.

The best Italian food in the whole of Belfast . Lovely ambience & service as well

I chose Fratellis as there were so many vegan options (for myself) and a great general menu for friends. My vegan food was awful. £21 for a plate of bland stodgy spaghetti (even though linguine on menu) and the biscoff cheesecake had no base 🙈 … friends were happy though

Brilliant place, amazing cosy atmosphere, the service was brilliant, attentive and quick, and the food amazing.

I recently dined at this wonderful Italian restaurant and had an exceptional experience. The food was absolutely delightful, showcasing authentic flavors and quality ingredients. Yummy Regional Italian food in Ireland. I've worked in a similarly styled restaurant in the US, and felt like I was in a comfort zone. Nice wine list, traditional menu, and just right sweet treats. I had the wild mushroom Risotto and they added a smoked chicken breast for me. My friend had a bolognese that disappeared before my eyes. Fresh mixed green salad alongside made it all delicious and nutritious!

Very expensive had 3 pizzas we also had a small chicken wings a chips and bruscetta starter one beer, one wine and a coke £100 before tip. Nice food atmosphere and good service. But found the price very dear £22 for a pizza? In dublin city centre which is expensive average is €17 about £15. Again nice place good quality but overpriced.

My friend and I Had a flight cancelled on me last Sunday just 2 hours before we were due to take off, so we had an extra night in Belfast more than we had planned, but so glad are we that we came across this lovely restaurant who accommodated us so late on a Sunday that I did not mind the flight cancellation as this was worth it. I only regret that it slipped my mind to leave a tip, but should I find myself back in Belfast again, I will absolutely come back. The lasagne al forno that I had was delicious and the staff were fantastic!! Not to mention that the Nero D'avola wine was stellar!

For an Italian restaurant it's a disaster... Perhaps we are too used to it. In any case, it's not great but at least the lasagna is stuffy and it's tough! The other is a Caesar ''salad''...

Food was terrific and they had a nice drink selection. Service started out fantastic and then fell off a little. It did not affect our experience.

Great food and wine and our waitress Marta was so lovely. This was my first visit here and hopefully won't be my last. Lovely restaurant with a very relaxed atmosphere, would highly recommend

A very cozy and welcoming restraunt that I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place for dinner! The lighting was atmospheric, but we were still able to read menus. The booths were very comfortable and had high backs, so we felt tucked in without being out of the way. The service was exceptional! The gentleman that was serving us was very friendly and polite. Always quick to refil our water jug, easily noticed when we were ready to order and knew when we were ready for the dessert menu - which you MUST have a look at! I am still dreaming about the chocolate hazelnut cheesecake! The portions were all the perfect sizes. I don't remember what the bill came to, but it was very reasonable for our group of 5 for mains and desserts. This seems like the perfect place to celebrate special occasions or to go for a nice family dinner and we didn't feel out of place as a group of tourists calling in. Next time I'm in Belfast, I'll be back!

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday on 28th June. I would like to thank our waiter Jack for his fantastic service and hospitality, he was delightful. Additionally, Conor the bartender was very kind and gave fantastic recommendations. They helped to make this a memorable and fun birthday. Thank you to everyone will definitely be back 😁

Lovely place, friendly staff and happy atmosphere. Food absolutely delicious but puddings are rather manute portions, althenough enough to recognise the taste of it. Recommended but be aware what are you getting.

Great food. The carbanara and lamb were better than we expected. The portions were perfect as well. The service was very good and the server checked in on us a couple of times. The only down side was that the tables are very close together, so it is difficult to have a quiet or romantic meal. 2 drinks and 2 entrees were $70.00

Mediocre Italian food. Carbonara is what I use as a standard for Italian restaurants. The carbonara was ok but heavy. They put cream in it which is a no-no in authentic Italian cuisine.

Visited for dinner on Saturday and was overwhelmingly disappointed with the experience. -We had tried to call the restaurant multiple times throughout the day with no answer at any point. I understand Saturdays are a busy day, but we must have tried about six different times. -When we arrived there was a small queue of two groups at the door - which you would have taken as a good sign we were in for a lovely meal - but unfortunately we stood there for close to 15 minutes before we were sat. There was one girl who was sitting folk but this takes time. When we did get seen to there was no 'thanks for waiting' 'sorry to keep you' which started us off on a negative perception of the place. The only reason I mention this is due to the wording on the booking page which explicitly states '*We cannot guarantee your table will still be available if you are more than 15 minutes late for the reservation, please contact us via phone if you are running late*' - no one answers the phone anyway, but where is this attitude for when the restaurant doesn't seat you when you arrive within your time with no acknowledgement? -At the time of booking we requested an 'upstairs' table - we were not sat upstairs. Again, i understand that sometimes requests cannot be met and its subject to availability however most restaurants will also include this wording on their website to advise guests of this. It should, however, have at least been mentioned when getting sat that the space we had asked for wasnt have been available. -The table we were sat at the booth side seats were dirty with crumbs and bits of food. The lady who sat us watched me wipe my seat as i sat, the tables beside us were then reset by two different staff members - none of which thought to wipe down the seat as they placed the new cutleries and glassware on the table. The next bookings who came in to those tables did infact sit on dirty seats. -Every other table around us seemed to receive breadsticks and some sort of dip thing? We sat and worked out if it was possibly down if you ordered a starter or not but there was no pattern to it - we just didnt receive any. -We ordered and food came quickly, which is possibly one of the saving graces to our experience. However, the spiced fennel sausage pasta with tomato and marscapone sauce can only be compared to a M&S ready meal. Bang average would be me putting it nicely. The carbonara was, to be fair, fantastic. We were checked back on - told our waiter food was 'okay' and there was nothing more said on it and he left. -Our plates were cleared and we were asked if we wanted anything else, which we replied no - i will also mention our drinks were empty at this point too. I understand it may be the restaurants process to not immediately offer the bill at this point so as to not be seen to rush guests out the door - i can appreciate that completely, but we were then left sitting at our empty table with empty drinks with clearly no desire to spend any more time or money in this restaurant for approx 20 minutes before anyone ever came back in our direction to ask if we wanted the bill. -On exiting we must have passed by about 6 staff members, not one of them as much as smiled at any customer in direct eyeline. Your staff are a representation of your brand, and if the experience wasnt already a negative one the staff didnt help my impression. I would have loved to have spoken to a manager at any point during my visit to explain all this directly - im sure there was a valid reason for some of it/it could have been rectified at the time but i didnt see one throughout my visit. If you are going to charge almost £30 for a bowl of pasta in some cases, i would expect the level of service to be considerably higher than we received at the weekend. Google reviews doesnt let you give 0 stars, but honestly the carbonara was good enough to justify being slightly above. A good italian is hard to find in belfast so we were looking forward to this meal but from somewhere set to 'ooze rustic italian charm' it was overall completely disappointing.

This is such an over priced restaurant for such incredibly average food. Avoid. Ate somewhere else on our second night in Belfast which was far superior and cheaper. £25 for a poor quality burger. They need to up their game or lower their prices. This is so off

A real gem. After trying Pizza Express round the corner and getting a rather frosty reception we were delighted to find this place. It was so welcoming and everyone was very friendly. The kids were greeted with enthusiasm and the kids menu includes a make your own pizza and babyccino. The pizzas are very tasty.

Had an amazing meal here. Called in late and got a table, staff were very friendly and a nice chilled atmosphere. Just back from Venice and the food was above and beyond anything had there. The seafood linguine and the rigatoni were so authentic and tasty. Also really like that at the end of the night there was no rushing customers out and staff all sat together as a family to eat before they finished for the night. Would definitely be back. Best pastas we have ever had!!

Service was good, food was okay and not worth the money. Menu does not list full ingredients - I couldn't eat the duck arancini as it was covered in mint (fine if you like mint!). Had it have said on the menu it was served with ground up mint, I wouldn't have ordered. Couldn't send back as we were out on the balcony and staff served the food and didn't return until taking plates away a long time later. Expensive enough to not be able to eat some of it. Parmesan and truffle fries were great. Scampi was nice - definitely prawn pil pil (prawns in garlic) rather than breaded/battered scampi. Again, menu didn't mention breaded or battered but assumed it was with it being called scampi and not simply "prawns". Wouldn't return, would go elsewhere as the menu isn't great.

Very tasty food, from starter to the dessert everything was really delicious. Nice atmosphere. They have plenty of gluten-free options as well.

Worst Italian restaurant I’ve been to! Very disappointed in this restaurant, overpriced for what it is. The baguette starter was something most restaurants would provide for free as an appetiser, basically a small piece of dry bread with some chilli jam and mozzarella paid £25 pound for the seafood linguine which was basically a medium sized bowl of pasta drenched in a tomato bolognese style sauce with three or four mussels, clams and a few small overcooked prawns. My partner had the fennel sausage rigatoni and described it as being like a ready meal. The tiramisu was tiny and wasn’t anything special. Service was ok which was worth a star but definitely wouldn’t return.

We were here last evening fir my grandsons 9th Birthday party..it was amazing! The little Boars menu is so good and making they're own pizzas wearing chefs hat and apron just makes it so special. Thank you to Monica our waitress who spent time talking to the kids and making us all feel so special..the service was great and my pizza was gorgeous...my granddaughter lost her ear pod and I got a lovely phone call just now saying they found it.! Many thanks again Monica and we ll certainly be back soon

Atmosphere is nice. Staff seemed always busy. Food just average not better than elsewhere but expensive 😂 “Italian tapas”tiny little potion - 4 for £32. Also, authentic Italian? I’m not sure … Cocktails also much more expensive than other places (around £13?).

These 5 stars are mainly dedicated to the Matre D Whitney first and foremost, who, while working under extreme pressure greeted us with the warmest of Irish welcomes to then Callum the effortless waiter who seamlessly brought our delicious food without fuss and served ours and other tables like an absolute professional. This place would be rated good without the staff.. they elevate it to exceptional! We had a beautiful evening rounding off a great trip to Belfast ❤

Absolutely delicious meal had at Fratelli's recommended by our hotel "Room 2" Our waitress Marta was super attentive and friendly. The background music playing was fabulous ...a real mix ! I could have stayed all night listening to tracks I haven't heard in decades. Fantastic atmosphere We are loving Belfast , and we will definitely be returning.

On my own in Belfast and not sure where to dine, but I was really pleased that I chose Fratelli. The staff were charming and efficient and the atmosphere was surprisingly cosy for a fair sized restaurant. What really gets my 5 star rating is the Liinguini Carbonara. It was the real deal - NO CREAM! Many restaurants use the latter as an easy option. Instead, egg yolks were used, the cheese was pecorino and I’m pretty sure that guanciale was also used, so 100% genuine and I reckon the best carbonara I have had outside of Italy. The portion was generous and together with a large glass of decent Italian Sauvignon Blanc and an affogato I paid £37 and left feeling well satisfied. Happy days!

Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our evening at Fratelli’s. The wait staff were attentive, knowledgeable and polite. We had a ring side seat to watch the kitchen crew at their craft. They were wonderful. The menu, the presentation and the quality of the food made our evening. If we’re ever back in Belfast we’ll be back at Fratelli’s.

Excellent, friendly waiters. The butler put us and the other tourists in the shop window and the beautiful restaurant hall was left to the locals. The recommended pasta of the day was salty and tasted like old fish. I've had better Italian food.

Excellent meal. Staff were friendly and able to fit me in without a reso. Quiter chill atmosphere. Duck confit arancini was nice. Pizza size is great for two people to split. Calabrese was done very well.

Party of 7 pre-theater. Service really stands out here. Staff so accommodating and suggestive. Food was beautiful but a bit pricey & included a 10% service charge.

We didn't like the food at all, we couldn't get the carbonara and one of the pizzas we ordered was spicy, and it was a ham pizza, it didn't have to be spicy...we told the waiter and the only thing they offered us was a discount, even though he took the entire pizza…. Unacceptable price quality

Stumbled across this little gem tonight coz the Chinese was shut next door. Wow what a place. They were v busy but got us a table with a smile. The food and service was outstanding. But that's what I'm beginning to understand about the Irish. They care and understand. Amazing people. X

We were pleasantly surprised when we were offered a complimentary drink for our 1st wedding anniversary, we arrived late due to traffic but the staff were very understanding and made us find the positive. Absolutely outstanding that I was offered a digital gluten free menu, a new experience for me! Lots of choice too. The decor is lush, the restaurant is very popular & I asked for some guidance on how to get to a concert & this made our evening stress free. I ordered pepperoni pizza and house salad, I could’ve inhaled this at home. Very tasty. Only marked food 4/5 as I found the pizza oily, the draft beer my husband asked for just ran out & food possibly a little overpriced but I can’t wait to visit again & will recommend to friends. Thank you for a lovely evening. *** 2ND REVIEW - we rarely get to Belfast so we called in yesterday to have the same meal but you can see the 3rd pic was very different & it has annoyed me that I didn’t send the pizza back as it was burned.

3 Apr. Fantastic Italian food 😋 It was a wise move to have booked even for a Wednesday. Fratelli was busy at 7.30, this did not affect the service. While the menu may not have a lot, what they do have was excellent 👌 Drinks were like the food not lots but good quality. The lasagna and pepperoni pizza was hot on delivery and very very tasty. The atmosphere is nice for a chat and Italian in style. Great work guys and particularly Miraid. Sorry no photos, too busy eating it.

The moment my partner and I arrived, we were met by a rude member of staff. Questioned to why I was drinking an energy drink, I had to hand it over before we got our table. We had a small table, which was fine, but you feel very closed in. We waited 10-15 minutes before our waiter arrived even though the restaurant was not busy. Once we ordered, the food arrived within 10 minutes. The pizza was okay at best, too doughy with little sauce or cheese. You'll get a better,less expensive pizza at your local takeaway. Their fries had no seasoning and weren't crispy. Overall, I'll recommend elsewhere for a dinner.

Okay place but would choose somevere else.. Food was ordinary, maybe I choose wrong with seafoodpasta, but it was just very ordinary. Good beer, but they have that everyver in Belfast.

While in Belfast, we continued to walk past this cute restaurant, Fratelli. On night two, we made reservations. Unfortunately, we were only able to accommodate 6 of our group of 14. Once we arrived, we were greeted by a very kind gentleman ready to seat us. We explained we had 8 more people looking for dining recommendations and he graciously found a way to seat all of us. During our dining experience, the food was remarkable. We all ordered different entrees and tried to taste as much of the menu as possible. The one thing that stood out the most, outside of the food, was the beautiful, kind and attentive employee, Monica. She ensured the standard of customer service we received was top notch. Our group referenced her and how amazing she was multiple times after leaving the establishment. We even alerted the manager and other employees at how lucky they are to have Monica in their employment. By far the best dining experience had during our 10 days in Ireland! Thank you Monica for making our evening so special!

Fabulous fresh food, atmosphere and lovely staff. Bit expensive but worth every penny. Best pizza ever Florentine, and the truffle chips were so good, along with the scampi and ceasar salad. We ate quite late at night and everything was still so fresh and tasty

Can’t fault the service but the food wasn’t good considering the price. Paid £25 for a pizza comparable to a frozen supermarket pizza. Plenty of cheaper options in Belfast

Went here on boxing day after the pantomine. Never ever have i had a worse meal. No starters , kids got two pizzas. Wife got a pasta dish and i got the "gourmet" burger. Pizzas were almost as good as a frozen one Wife's pasta was tasteless and very salty. My burger was terrible, felt unwell the next day all day. But the worst thing was the bill.. £90!!!! And we all had four soft drinks.. How can a restaurant be so bad!!?

A lovely venue and the staff were great. Gave it a 4 cos the Caesar salad was massive but all lettuce and the deserts are pre packed. Burger, pizza, lasagne, garlic bread and chips were really good! The other dishes on nearby tables did look good. A very nice venue, staff were very nice and attentive. Definately would recommend

Just had a fabulous dinner @ Fratelli. Calamari and shrimp starter, divine. I had seafood linguini and my wife had the chicken parmesian with ffies and vegetables, both really good. Italian chardonnay was perfect compliment. Service excellent. Great vibe. Would highly recommend.

Starter we're lovely so we expected great things, but mains (pizza & pasta) were both very bland tasting. Also although we (couple) had a booking and arrived on time, we were asked to wait at the bar for 25 mins, while many other couples arriving after us were seated before us (including the couple before us who didn't even have a booking but were seated immediately), This was weird.

Friendly staff, great food (although oddest choice to receive coleslaw with Lasagne..) and a decent selection of cocktails! The place seems to be busy most of the time so it’s recommended to pre-book a table here!

We spent an evening in Belfast and went to Fratelli for dinner, I can’t recommend the place enough! We had 2 children and the place is incredibly child friendly, the food is fantastic (I mean, my toddler ate everything, that’s high praise!) The staff were very friendly, great menu and a massive plus that they had a changing table and “breastfeeding friendly place” sticker on the door, always a comfort to see when you come with a baby! If you’re looking for a place to eat in Belfast with kids, go to Fratelli!!

Gorgeous atmosphere and a welcome change of pace from the traditional Irish fare while traveling. The Food was good. Portions a bit small. Servers were a little slow but friendly.

We weren't asked had we been there before or did we want the menu explained. Waitress spilled water over the table and cutlery and I had to ask somebody else to mop it up. I also had to wait ages after we had finished our main course for any staff to come near the table. I would certainly have no complaints about the food and would go back, however, i do feel waiting staff need to work on their skills.

Ordered carbanora asked if I wanted extra chicken I said yes cost me £5.95 for 6 small bits of chicken if they ask you don't say yes to chicken totally rip off. Never asked if I wanted parmesan when served with carbanora. Only eaten half wasn't very good seen other people leaving food on tables would never go back to this place worst Italian I've been to.

Pricey and the pizza I had was rather bland.

We went for dinner on Sunday and it was really packed so the staff were a bit stretched which meant we waited almost 30 minutes before someone even took our food order. The waitress we had was very nice and apologetic though. The food was really good, better than expected actually but quite expensive. Had the chicken Parm which was lovely. It comes with chips that were nice but a bit undercooked. The rest of the party had risotto and prawns and pizza of which all were very nice. The pumpkin risotto was probably the nicest risotto I've had in a while. Pistachio tiramisu was tasty but for 5 pound the portion is tiny and not really good value for money. Probably wouldn't return but did enjoy the meal.

Two bowls of very average pasta for £40. Wine also very pricey and not great. Nice vibe about the place but I honestly can't see why anyone would return.
