Staff were so wonderful and attentive to us, we got a table easily and the portions wete really filling! I would recommend their lasagne and pepperoni pizza!

Honestly one of the best Italian meals I’ve had, we arrived and went to the bar for a gin and tonic where the bar man took the time to tell us about a local gin and the meaning behind the name of it (jawbox) -totally worth a try… and the we were seated upstairs by a lovely chatty young lady. Our server named Josh was very attentive and kind. Now. When we arrived I said I was a coeliac, and I told the girl on the way to the table, but I forgot to tell poor Josh. So when our food arrive and I suspiciously asked, the poor lad had to take it all back. I felt like a total arse, not his fault at all, it was my fault, but he took it back and had it made fresh. He then apologised and brought us a complimentary Prosecco each. What a darling. I felt awful but he was so kind. Now let me tell you, I don’t eat Italian very often because of the gluten thing, but tonight my show was stopped and my fast was flabbered by the scallop gnocchi, honestly it was the best thing I’ve eaten in a restaurant in a decade. Staggering Well done to the chef, the best texture was unbelievable and the mix of flavours is like nothing I’ve had before. BRAVO!!! You honestly have made a grumpy coeliac very bloody happy. I would recommend this place to anyone who has a gluten intolerance and misses the beautiful texture of real Italian cuisine. I will be back. Thank you Josh, you are a darling x

One of the most overpriced places in Belfast. Pizza for more than 22£ thats ridiculous, water 7£ wft(?) i can accept it, but food wasn't that great either. Also we were waiting for our meals 1 hour 30 minutes. Better look for something else

Goodness, £15 for an Aperol Spritz! This place must be kept afloat by tourists wondering across from the Europa. Wife and I both had a pizza each, a spritz and I had a glass of wine before a show at the Opera House. Amazed by the bill. We did the same at Pizza Express the week before. The pizza was substantially better, we shared a starter AND had a bottle of wine and it was cheaper than this. £3 for a dip!!!?? Very very happy to spend the money when it’s worth it, this just wasn’t. On the plus side - lovely atmosphere, friendly attentive staff and a banging playlist. I just can’t look past £15 for an Aperol Spritz.

The service was good and quick. I got the calabrese pizza and it was very good. However, a pint of lager, small bottle of water and pizza came to £35.10 which in my opinion is 20-25 percent too expensive, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

The most fabulous evening! Delicious fresh food (the chicken Caesar was exquisite) expertly served by Jack. Joel had seated us upstairs - perfect for our hockey tour final dinner. Outstanding building, clean toilets, super atmosphere - all only surpassed by the best service and tasty food. Thank you very much!

Authentic and delicious Pizzas.

Very tasty pizza, although, it is the most expensive pizza I have ever eaten. 20£ cannot be justified for a pizza

we called onspec when in Belfast. Managed to get a seat within ten minutes but was closest to the entrance, albeit partly behind a screen, so wasn’t a great location. Service was a bit slow to bring menu’s and then again to come take our order. Drinks were slow to come out. Was a busy evening though so partly expected. Food was nice, I had gluten free pizza and chef made staff aware of a necessary change for the ‘base’ so I’m thankful for their knowledge.

Insanely expensive and really mediocre food. I’ve lived in belfast my whole life and can confidently say this is the worst value for money food in the city. Food would be worth it if you got paid handsomely to eat

Really poor quality Italian food at eye-watering prices. E.g. the pizza bases were those pre-baked bases from a packet :( The rice in my risotto wasn't cooked and the risotto itself was WAY over-seasoned with what tasted like synthetic seasoning (garlic salt?). Really inexcusable corner cutting from an "Italian" restaurant. Everything deep fried to within an inch of its life (Arancini was particularly greasy, in oil that tasted like deep fried chicken). I only managed to eat less than a quarter of the risotto dish and the server merely asked if I needed a doggy bag for the remainder. One of the lowest quality, poorest value meals I've had anywhere for a very long time. Avoid.

I recently visited, and while the pizza itself was good, what truly stood out was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. From the warm welcome to the prompt service, every detail was handled with care. The pizza had a nice balance of flavours, with a well-made crust and quality toppings, though it didn't quite reach that "wow" factor. However, the outstanding service more than made up for it, making the visit enjoyable. Overall, a solid 4/5 experience—worth visiting, especially if great service is a priority!

I'd been to the one in Galgorm and had a great experience so we wanted to try the one in the city too and were very pleased with our experience. The staff had great service, specifically Monika with top care for her service and warmth in connecting with people. The food smelt amazing and tasted even better. They were acccommodating and the vibes were good.

Gluten-free review: The best pre-frozen gluten free crust I've ever had, tasted just like New York pizza crust. Had a Margareta pizza and mushroom pasta with gf pasta, both were amazing!

I think this is the worst restaurant I’ve been to in Belfast for a while. I got the pepperoni pizza which came out essentially raw and after asking to have my pizza cooked a little more I was told ‘it would take 30 mins and that I shouldn’t do it’.. which is absolutely absurd. To deny a customer who has requested an amendment to their meal who has booked this table in advance, made arrangements weeks prior and been excited to attend just to be absolutely shot down was so ridiculous. I cannot get over the treatment of a member of staff and how awful the food was. Really really upsetting. Galgorm group is really going down hill and to top it all off the £8.60 pint and £19.75 raw pizza is rude, and extremely over priced. Really disgusted.

A fantastic spot for a meal. The food was delicious and well presented. The staff were professional, friendly and attentive. It's a beautiful restaurant and the service was prompt. Definitely worth a visit.

The service is great and the Staff are lovely as they were all well mannered and very helpful, the restaurant itself was very nice, clean, and modern yet cosy. The wait time for the food is between 15-30 minutes (went around 5 during a weekday). The entrées were lovely and up to standard, although the main meals lacked in flavour depth and were quite salty which is not ideal. Dessert on the other hand was nicely portioned and provided a refreshing contrast in flavour! Overall it wasn’t bad; though I’m not sure if I would return as I don’t believe that price you pay that is worth it.

I found this restaurant extremely expensive for average food. The room was cold even though we were sat beside the kitchen serving window. Tables very close together. Our server was a nice young lady, but she spoke so quietly that we had to ask her to repeat everything she said.

Nice inside. They allow kids to make their own pizza and give them an apron and hat while they do it. Food was lovely, expensive but good portion sizes.

This is for me a solid 5 out of 10, not great but not bad. It’s average. Food was ok, atmosphere was good and staff were really friendly, but £7 for not even a pint of lemonade is just ridiculous! Was so surprised when I got the bill! I mean I can get a pint of Guinness for less! Also, I asked for no ice so I got the glass only filled to an inch from the top of the glass. Over priced for what it is, more of a case of style over substance, and that’s what you’re paying for

Always my go to when staying in Belfast. Super easy to book online, staff are super friendly and helpful. Food is consistently great and they work hard to make sure allergen needs are dealt with confidently. Looking forward to next time already.

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at fratellis, the food was exquisite but the star of the show was our server, I think her name was Casey - she attitude and demeanour was the definition of outstanding service and all with a smile! Thank you Casey!

Fratelli is pretty average food at best…but the prices do not reflect this at all. Almost £30 for a burger - and a pretty average one at that - is a total rip off. I’m not sure being a part of the Galgorm Group is as much of a badge of honour as these establishments would like it to be - it’s fast becoming shorthand for overpriced and nowhere near as good as it thinks it is. Dont believe the hype!

We were amazed!!! They care a lot about their customers, cleaning, wonderful attention, as soon as we enter they ask us if we have allergies, in my case I have an allergy to fish, I was going to order a salad and shortly after they told me that it had fish, I loved the concern and such good attention. Highly highly recommended, very happy, and the food was delicious!!!

I just walked in without a booking and I was immediately found a table even thought the place was very busy. I had the most delicious pizza and tiramisu. The staff & service were excellent. So it was a complete delight especially as I was a walk in. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

It's not a high end establishment which was a surprise as it is owned by the galgorm group, however staff were very attentive, pleasant and upbeat (which was a big plus) and any teeny, tiny issues were dealt with very well and quickly by staff. Food portions were a bit confusing between the small and large sizes but were very tasty. If I was being picky then I would say that the fabric in the booths was a bit grotty and could do with being replaced and the music choice could do with being updated and felt very 2005. A lot of groups, a lot of tourists, a lot of families. We'd go back because the food was good and the service was nice.

Pizza tasted frozen like one you’d buy from the supermarket. Garlic herb potatoes very bland. Lasagne was nice but nearly £25.00. All food was over priced for all it is. Overpriced drinks too as glass of wine is £11.25. Will never be back again.

Delicious food, fast service and great atmosphere.

Lovely restaurant inside, staff are friendly and helpful. The negative was the pizza toppings. The prosciutto ham on the ham & pineapple was slightly fatty pulled port. The waitress said it was prosciutto, but when I disagreed, she spoke to the manager. I can't fault the fact we were refunded for my pizza and the manager was very apologetic. Apparently, she was going to address it with the chef. We were offered something else but unfortunately had a concert to attend.

Previously had been to fratellis mid November and found it enjoyable. So I booked again for my family. The guy at the door who checked us in was unfriendly, unhelpful and arrogant. The waitress we had was pushy and didn’t take our order correctly. Made mistakes and pushed them on to us. Food was average at best. The pizzas were ridiculously over priced as was the whole menu. Belfast has so much more to offer and unfortunately this place isn’t up to the mark.

Customer service was absolutely unreal from start to finish, never had service like it. Such genuine friendly and helpful staff! Food was delicious! Couldn’t fault anything! Thank you!

The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. We found the food to be good however in my opinion it is way overpriced even by city standard. For this reason I would not return.

First time visiting and everything was excellent.

OMG, this place is fantastic! Rat was extremely accommodating when we arrive late due to our flight being delayed. The food was outstanding, and the four of us commented that it really was the best meal we have had in a long time. Trip and service impeccable all round. Atmosphere and music was great. We will definitely come back and I would recommend this restaurant to anybody!

A little gem of a place, gorgeous food, and excellent service.

Lovely Italian to dine in. We had a very long day and jet lagged so came in close to closing time. Staff were friendly and understanding that we just needed a bite to eat and drink and relax. Had a bit of a mishap with spilled wine, but after cleaning up and a few laughs with the staff we thoroughly enjoyed the Bacon Caesar salad, real dressing, Lasagna and Linguine Scoglio was tasty and filling and the wine that wasn't spilled. Thank you to the staff Whitney, Conor and Jack for taking care of us.

Congenial, welcoming atmosphere, good food, generous portions, excellent waiters, could not fault the service. However, price wise it was a rip off. 3 Mains, a salad, 2 alcoholic drinks £106 ! Way too much. Tap water £6, tiny wine £8, VAT on top, that was totally unexpected! People aren't that well off. We can make just as good Italian food at home, so that's where we'll stay. In the present climate, things will only get worse.

Lovely place to come as a family with a warm atmosphere. Kids really enjoyed making their own pizza. Staff were great, and the butternut risotto is probably one of the best I've ever had, really creamy and well seasoned. Would highly recommend.

It was early when I went in so hard to gauge atmosphere. Staff were excellent throughout but pizza (while a personal choice) was pretty mediocre and very bready, and at £23 ridiculously overpriced, as was a pint of beer at £8.60. Proximity to a theatre apparently adds a bit to the bill. Nothing would encourage me to go again.

Food tasted great, an initial hiccup was rectified with (non gf) croutons on my gf meal, I checked, it was an honest oversight and fixed. Chicken and mushroom pasta was absolutely delicious, service was excellent. I’m a 30+ years coeliac, I’m very happy with good food and great service. Highly recommend!

Overpriced mediocre Italian food.

If you are Italian don't come there it's another super fake Italian restaurant even the arancini are fake. If you are Irish just remember that's not what we eat in Italy. If you are Italian, avoid absurd prices like the plague to eat the classic disgusting place with pasta with chicken and pizza with pineapple

Nice atmosphere. Food was good, my husband had the Chicken Parm and I had the Roast Butternut Squash Risotto. We had the Nutella cheesecake for dessert which was good but it was more of a Nutella mousse pie and the crust was really hard so couldn’t put the spoon or fork through it. Service was satisfactory.

This place is amazing, food is fantastic, staff is so nice and amazing, cocktails are on point. Monica was appointed our server and was wonderful.

Really enjoy this place. The vibe and atmosphere are lovely and the staff are great. Great value for money. The portion sizes are good and overall not too pricey. I absolutely loved the miniature dessert, it was the perfect finisher for me since I thought I would burst after so much pasta!

It seems that they thought we were foreigners and instead of giving us tap water they brought a bottle of water, 6.50 pounds for it! We saw water jugs in other tables but it was too late. Food is ok but maybe a bit overpriced.

DW/CG visited Fratelli on a Friday night. We were fortunate to be seated right away without a wait. Our server was initially very attentive and answered our questions. The atmosphere was enjoyable. Unique decor and ambiance. We put in orders for lasagna and pizza. And some red wine. The pizza was very good -- crust was amazing and cheese was not greasy or oily. DW was really happy with this choice. The lasagna for CG came out in a small pan. It was hot as molten lava. Poor CG could not touch it for at least a half hour. DW had finished his pizza before the lasagna could be tasted, and even then it burnt the roof of the mouth. And sadly it was not very good -- mostly sauce, little flavor, and no pasta noodles that we could find. The lasagna recipe needs to be reviewed. And we could benefit from bread and salad with our orders. I mentioned the server was initially attentive. This changed after the food was brought. We must have waited an hour for the check. We had to track down the server to get checked out. We hope Fratelli can make some adjustments to become an amazing Italian restaurant.

Not great food, way overpriced, poor service.

My Daughter and I had a wonderful meal here, the staff were fantastic, very attentive and enthusiastic as well as helpful and happy. The food was great, I loved that you could choose small or larger portions and such a variety. I went for the mushroom risotto, which was so flavoursome and perfectly seasoned. My 9 year old had the mozzarella sticks, the make your own pizza which was fun and really tasty, and a miniature desert, which wasn't that miniature, and a kids milk drink 😆 the experience where my daughter got to wear a chefs hat and apron made her day (it was her birthday) along with the staff members. It was reasonably priced too.

My family called into Fratelli tonight and got six meals, three of them were OK, one of them was great and two of them were terrible, not ok especially at those prices. The margarita pizza was awful and cost £17 and the halibut on special was overcooked, a tiny portion and in a bad tasting sauce that had a real burnt taste to it. Halibut was £34.

I chose Fratellis as there were so many vegan options (for myself) and a great general menu for friends. My vegan food was awful. £21 for a plate of bland stodgy spaghetti (even though linguine on menu) and the biscoff cheesecake had no base 🙈 … friends were happy though

Yummy Regional Italian food in Ireland. I've worked in a similarly styled restaurant in the US, and felt like I was in a comfort zone. Nice wine list, traditional menu, and just right sweet treats. I had the wild mushroom Risotto and they added a smoked chicken breast for me. My friend had a bolognese that disappeared before my eyes. Fresh mixed green salad alongside made it all delicious and nutritious!

Very expensive had 3 pizzas we also had a small chicken wings a chips and bruscetta starter one beer, one wine and a coke £100 before tip. Nice food atmosphere and good service. But found the price very dear £22 for a pizza? In dublin city centre which is expensive average is €17 about £15. Again nice place good quality but overpriced.

My friend and I Had a flight cancelled on me last Sunday just 2 hours before we were due to take off, so we had an extra night in Belfast more than we had planned, but so glad are we that we came across this lovely restaurant who accommodated us so late on a Sunday that I did not mind the flight cancellation as this was worth it. I only regret that it slipped my mind to leave a tip, but should I find myself back in Belfast again, I will absolutely come back. The lasagne al forno that I had was delicious and the staff were fantastic!! Not to mention that the Nero D'avola wine was stellar!
