The food is delicious. I ate pizza from them. They have a delicious margherita and they offer lemonade as hospitality.

Second time we've been here. It's a lovely place to go to. Our waiter (Ifti) was a great guy, very attentive. Only criticisms is that my plate & my Calzone should have been warmer - both were on the cool side. Still, nice tasting food & lovely atmosphere.

Spaghetti bolognese lacked any flavour, even when complemented with copious amounts of Parmesan cheese and chilli flakes. Similarly the green salad was bland - thankfully saved by some olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Salmon was also rather tasteless, lacked seasoning. House Red wine was very good as were the desserts, though the crème brûlée was a tad too sweet. The service from the waiting staff was excellent.

This spot always comes through for a last-minute Friday night table! It’s Oxford Street so it’s busy but they’ll still find a spot for you. We skipped starters and went straight to mains—-I got the linguine al granchio, super fresh with a light, creamy sauce and my friend had the slow-cooked beef short ribs which were rich and full of flavor. Perfect with our wine even though it was more medium than full-bodied like they said (still no complaints) . Dessertwise, the tiramisu was okay but the creme brulee ? Best I’ve ever had! Wrapped it up with some mint tea because we were stuffed. Honestly, 10/10 for the Italian vibes.

Visited this restaurant for breakfast, and loved it! They offer freshly made and healthy food choices, hot drinks and even smoothies. Suitable for early business meeting, family breakfast or simply friends meet up. My Eggs Royal were beautiful and runny 👌

The service was not adequate, waiter very confussed. Once food started arriving, we challenged one of the starters as incorrect, we were said twice that was correct, and 10 minutes late finally they noticed the error and brought us the correct one. Two of the mains were of very bad quality, staff confirmed that indeed for one of those they have received 3 complaints the same day. We were there before, quality was good, but after this experience will for sure never come back

First off, this is a great restaurant. The staff are friendly, the ambience is nice and the food was outstanding. Unfortunately the service was very slow and we only managed to get a main course in the hour and a half we were there. We asked for a desert menu, and 15 minutes later, it still hadn't arrived. We had to leave at that point for a concert. Tge food was superb but we really wanted a desert.

I was a bit disappointed to say the least it felt like we were being rushed through and one of the staff asked whilst we were eating our starters shall he ask the chef to cook our mains I said no but sure enough the mains came before our starters were even cleared the man who I can only presume was the manager was a little abrupt our actual waiter who took our order for food and drinks was good and they sang happy birthday to my daughter. When we arrived though we had to wait over ten minutes before anyone came to take any order of drinks etc and in the end we had to wave over someone. The food was nice and it was a good vibe in the restaurant but certain elements of the service need to be improved. If I am going for dinner I don’t want to be rushed and made to feel they are pushing us out the door

Had a salad it was good, beef carpaccio was okay and the lamb shank was good.

Came here after a while and noticed a huge difference, the menu seems to be reduced, I ordered the lasagne as it’s a regular dish I order, made a huge mistake as it’s reduced in size by a lot!! It was literally one layer! When I complained to the waitress she agreed, I had a new one sent but it was just a bit thicker than the first one! Far too much cheese and not enough meat. Not sure what’s happened here, perhaps a change in chefs or reduced food portions in general! It has put me off from visiting again.

A good find. Convenient to Oxford Circus as going to the theatre but out of the rat race. Spacious and comfortable, food was delicious from extensive Italian menu. Friendly and efficient service. Will definitely go back there.

Useful Italian restaurant near the London Palladium and Oxford Circus. Good choice of the usual Italian classics, decent house wine by the carafe and efficient service so we were finished in time to get to the show.

We visited this lovely restaurant to celebrate my son's 30th birthday with family! The service, the staff, the ambience and the food were all top notch and I found it really good value for a central London location! I will definitely be back!

Celebrated our Granddaughter’s birthday here with all the family, the restaurant was very clean and had a great atmosphere, the staff were friendly and attentive, we all enjoyed various selections from the menu. A really enjoyable evening and will certainly return.

Ponti's does not disappoint. Some dishes are Michelin standard. We enjoyed their house brand olive oil and balsamic vinegar so much that we bought some to bring home.

I eat out at Ponti's Oxford Circus at least 5/6 times a year. And the last time I went I remembered why. Great service, great food, lovely atmosphere. The gentlemen who served us was warm, funny and human! He made our night. The food is always great. Only one thought. I did stick to one single gin as the wine as so expensive. A more affordable range would be very helpful in the current climate but I know it's tough for everyone. But I would have preferred a wine with my seabass but the price was prohibitive. But overall a great great night.

I went with my two kids. Service is excellent. Food came out quickly. My son thinks it’s the best pizza he’s ever had (and he’s had a lot).

There were two of us and after a birthday lunch and drinks elsewhere, we grabbed an outdoor table at Ponti's for a drink. It was just a random stop because it was a warm London evening and we were looking for somewhere easy to stop off before making our way home. My friend had come to Ponti's years ago for takeout lunches when she worked nearby but aside from that, neither of us had been there in recent memory. Although this was drinks only, when we were chatting to the staff and mentioned that we'd been out for my friend's birthday they very sweetly brought out a birthday dessert plate! The service was so lovely and welcoming and I can completely understand why Ponti's has been there for so many years. It's rare to find somewhere in a very touristy area of Central London that is both reasonably priced and really takes care of its customers. We both look forward to coming back for some food next time and it's great to have found such a gem centrally.

There were seven of us, adults, and tenage children and thought it would be nice to have coffee and dessert. I initially walked in and asked for the dessert menu to see if we there was enough variety for our big group. The staff member looked very agitated but handed over a menu as the rest of the group were coming in the door he very rudely indicated that we move aside to make way for other customers (there were no other customer any where near us) Because of his rude manner i returned the menu and said i did not want to eat there any longer. I challenged him and questioned his behaviour, is it because of our colour that you do not want us there and he did not even look at me or deny that that was the case and was happy to usher us out. Feel really upset that the children had to witness such racist behaviour in this day and age and feel they have to think before entering a restaurant as only select people will be served in places. I feel this is the result of the recent racist protests where people feel they can now openly display their racism.

Food wasn't really good as it was served lukewarm and otherwise very bland. I would rate the service as poor because they were annoyed when I asked them to reheat my food. My three friends also had this impression.

Kind helpful staff. Food was fine and came very quickly so great for our pretheatre supper. Our first and second choice of wines were not available so my guests were a bit disappointed by that and one of my older guests found the background music a bit irritating…

Disappointed that the restaurant did not respond to my email about my son’s allergies. Turned up and gave very few options. If they had responded we would not have gone to the restaurant. Will not recommend!

Food are ok but really rubbish service.

Nice staff working here, however concerned with the hygiene. Found a hair in my pasta midway through the meal which made me feel ill. Also waitress putting cheese on my pasta was grating the block of cheese with her bare hands and had dirty fingernails. Food was also lukewarm and extremely overpriced for what it was. The shrimps tasted off and very fishy, their texture was also off. I’m sure it was old and reheated from frozen. Shame as the location is nice. * in response to owners reply: Unfortunately after being offered a replacement meal, it was hard to accept after seeing the hygiene standards. It’s quite embarrassing as a business to claim that you’re “struggling to agree” with my description of your waitresses dirty finger nails. Maybe you should take the hygiene concerns from the reviews seriously, as it’s clearly not just myself who has reported this!

A group of 5 colleagues went to Ponti's for lunch. We arrived a little early but they were very accommodating and our table was ready. It was very busy just after midday and the restaurant was quite loud/vibrant. Service was a little slow initially to take our drinks order but we had no further concerns thereafter. The choice of menu was great and the food was really tasty and served in good time. Overall it was a great choice of venue and I would definitely visit again.

Decided to try Ponti's as a birthday treat for myself, my husband and two kids on a Saturday evening, booked a 6 pm sitting. The bread and olives we had to start were delicious and the olive oil to go with it was top notch. The staff are friendly, professional and the service was fantastic. Didn't have to wait too long for the food, so we had just finished the bread and olives when it arrived, so maybe 15/20 mins. My husband ordered calzone, which he said was ok, the problem may be that we visited Rome many years ago & ever since then he's been comparing the calzone he had there with any that he's tried in UK restaurants and well, he's not easily impressed I suppose. I had pappardelle ai frutti di mare which was very tasty, something I couldn't cook myself, mussels, clams, prawns and squid in a pleasant white wine and tomato sauce, there were a few crunchy shell bits in it but I suppose that's just par for the course. My eldest child wasn't too hungry so had the tartar di Tonno, which looked lovely, my eldest was happy enough with it. My youngest is in their early teens, ordered the chicken burger and thoroughly enjoyed it, it looked really good, big chunks of chicken and a side of fries. We ordered the tiramisu for dessert, and as it was my birthday they put a sparkler in it, put the cup of tiramisu on a plate on which Happy Birthday had been written and they sang happy birthday, it was delightful, I was absolutely chuffed! I did enjoy the tiramisu but I couldn't really taste the coffee or marsala, so it was a little on the dry side, but hey it was good and maybe some people like it that way, it's the restaurant's recipe. But the service was so good, really outstanding.

Excellent food. Excellent service. We pre booked a table for 2 at lunchtime as a it was my wife’s birthday. I mentioned this on the booking form but not when we arrived. So really pleasantly suprised when my wife’s dessert arrived with candle and staff singing happy birthday. Thank you. It made her day. Brilliant service.

We visited Ponti’s on a Friday early evening for my wife’s birthday. It was a great experience from start to finish. Firstly the staff were all really friendly and welcoming. There was a good selection of drinks. We had Parmigiana and Truffle Arancina for starters, both of which were amazing. Then Fettucine Salmone and Linguine ai Gamberi for main both were great. They made a lovely gesture for my wife by bringing out a complimentary dessert. Overall fantastic

Family Friendly, quiet & Cosy environment . Service was friendly & quick. Close to Oxford Circus underground. There are a lot of vegetarian options. But I missed some classic options like Penne Arabiatta & Aglio-olio

Lovely place, real Italian food. I love carpaccio di manzo, bisteca, pasta con pesto. And a basket of mix breads WOW our meal. The toilet likes another coffee area 😇😇 A worthy place to enjoy food alone or with friends.

Really good authentic Italian food in a large restaurant with great ambience. The staff were observant but not intrusive. Extremely convenient location just off Regent street.

The servers were friendly and there wasn’t too long of a wait for the starters and food after them. Allowing 2 hours for drinks, starters, main and dessert for 5 of us was more than enough time. We enjoyed the food and the portion sizes were quite good too. The only thing is the jugs of water were very small but that’s not really a big issue. We booked under ‘birthday’ and they sang happy birthday and brought out a plate with a free scoop of ice cream, some fruit, ‘happy birthday’ written in chocolate and a sparkler which was lovely!

We are regulars at this branch of Pontis and the ambience, food and service always get 5 stars from me. However, on this occasion it only gets 3 stars; the service was not the usual high standard; for example, no ice in the ice bucket to keep the white wine chilled, no oil or other condiments provided with food and the culinary level was just not as good as usual. Maybe it was just a one off, bad night. Hoping for much better on our next visit.
