Very enjoyable meal, nicely cooked. One to visit again.

Food and service is lovely and will deserve another visit. It was quiet when we were there at 7 pm on a Friday, but I am when busy there would be a vibe to the place.

All "ok" as lunch time event. nothing memorable sadly. . Had starters...Burrata was fine , but needed a little salt which I had to ask for Bean soup was equally nothing to get excited about. The white wine ( Sicilian ) was very good indeed. Even the bread and olive oil was a little underwhelming. . . Not quite the Italian gourmet experience we had hoped for. Nice tea cups for a lovely pot of Earl Grey!! Oh , it's Italian!

Very nice, intimate, quiet place. I ate an appetizer of cured meats, and I must say that the products were all of excellent quality, then I had the braised pappardelle, they were so good that I would have eaten another dish. The cooking of the pasta was perfect. For dessert, the tiramisu, the top mascarpone cream, was delicious. The waiters and the room manager were really kind, helpful and polite. I had a very good time and if you want to eat Italian I highly recommend it. Great job to all the staff

Very nice relaxed environment. We were there valentine's night for a work meeting and had the private room. I would certainly return for a private meal.

Decent food, great wine selection. Service was good, but not enough staff by their own admission as they weren’t expecting a busy night. Portion size was small (especially Tiramisu). We had the duck and mushroom risotto. I’d probably go again if in the area.

We had dinner at this restaurant. This was a very nice experience with super delicious food and super good service. Very attentive and polite staff. I believe this to be one of the best italian restaurants in London. They kept the kitchen open for us, even though we were the last guests and were late!

Restaurant très bon, service au top, par contre repas un peu cher et très petite portion, j’ai pris un risotto au champignons et mon copain des raviolis (ils en avait que 4 dans l’assiettes) et on as également pris une bouteille d’eau nous en avons eu pour 54€

The food it is not really Italian. I was looking for nice pasta. Carbonara It didn't exist. Dishes very creative but not at all the lovely Italian food. Sorry. The space is very nice

Absolutely loved it. Superb food and home made pastas making the difference too. The squid starter was exceptional too. Was my first time for lunch and I look forward to returning. A new find that I will keep going back to from now.

We were celebrating my husband's 65th birthday, by going to an exhibition at Tate Britain, and wanted to have dinner afterwards, somewhere close by.  After a bit of Googling, I found Osterelia Dell Angelo, which had excellent reviews.  I did call them to check if I needed to book, and they suggested it wasn't vital, but would be a good idea, so I did.  The person I spoke to was  charming, and I did mention it was my husband's birthday.  After the exhibition, we arrived a few minutes late, and we immediately liked the look of the place, and all the staff we dealt with were absolutely lovely. Small details impressed us, such as the linen tablecloth and napkins,  fresh flowers, candles and comfortable seats.  The menu is limited,, but we like that because it shows that the food is probably prepared properly.  We I chose a cocktail and a Peroni, to drink while we were choosing our food, and my cocktail was a delicious Rossini.  I decided to go for a starter and dessert,  because I don't have a huge appetite.  I went for the burrata with oyster mushrooms and pistachios, and my husband's main course was the monkfish with leeks.  We also had sides of rosemary, roast potatoes, and the marinated beetroot.  We chose a Sicilian organic wine to go with our meal, with our food and it seemed very reasonably priced at £28.  They also brought four types of complimentary bread with olive oil, and an amuse bouche of deep - fried pizza dough with sauce. The portions were generousand beautifully presented, as well as delicious.  The highlight of our evening, however, was that when they brought my dessert of tiramisu, which we shared, they had put candle in it, and had written "Happy Birthday" around the plate.  The waiter even sang Happy Birthday, which was really sweet, and very much appreciated!  Everything about the evening was lovely, and even the toilets were stylish and immaculate. Whilst visiting them, we discovered a really nice private, dining room downstairs, which I can imagine would be a lovely venue for big, family party, or some such thing.  We were actually pleasantly surprised by the size of the bill, which even including 12.5% service, was less than £130 pounds, considering we had coffee and tea afterwards as well.  For the quality of the food in that part of London, it seemed extraordinarily good value.  We would certainly go again, and can't recommend it highly enough!

My first time here and very impressed. The food was incredible and the staff was superb. 5 star service. Polite, attentive and caring. Of course, I am a pretty easy customer and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I started with the polenta in a mushroom sauce and the main course was the housemade pasta with a zucchini/crab sauce. I walked across the bridge from my hotel and was so happy that I found this charming spot. I will definitely return on my many visits to London and hope to experience the same level of cuisine and service. The service was so good, that I left extra gratuity for the staff. They work very hard to make you feel welcome. Thank you.

Food was very expensive for the portions provided. Very poor service - manager was rude and disrespectful. I had to miss a couple previous reservations due to flight delays, and the manager challenged me sarcastically in front of other guests (before I was even seated) why I had not showed up.

We were 3 couples in our 50s. We had an excellent time. The staff was all very welcoming, friendly, and efficient in their tasks. We ordered multiple appetizers and they were all very good. We also all ordered a different entree, and everyone was very happy. Everything was delicious. We also enjoyed 2 different and both very good Italian wines that were perfect with them meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant for good Italian in London. We will definitely go back in the future.

We had booked a table for four which was lucky as the restaurant became completely full on a summer’s midweek lunchtime. There was a bite of something each and some bread to start and we then received our mains. I had the crab and courgette pasta which was superb. The pasta was obviously home made and had an interesting texture. The sauce was perfectly seasoned and tasted delicious. For pudding I had the cheesecake and ice cream which was nicely presented and also tasted great. Service was attentive and friendly. I will definitely go back.

The service was polite but not incredibly knowledgable and the food was good but not exciting. And for a Friday night a very quiet place though that may be due more to the fact that it was a bank holiday weekend. Still we had a nice time and the desserts were good.

After a tour of the Houses of Parliament I had booked 13 out of 22 in for lunch. More were coming but as the group was classed as a `Group Booking' the menus was more expensive. We are all pensioners frugal with out money especially with the current Cost of Living Crisis. We had a mixture of different bread and oil, plus a complimentary bite-size from the chef. Everyone was enjoying their choice, one start was tough but this quickly got changed for another one. Then the bill arrived. On the table for 9, although the bill had the figure 9 at the top, when I collected in all the money from everyone I was left with a fist full of notes. So we checked the bill and found that we had only been charged for 7 meals instead of 9. I took the bill back to our waiter and I think the manager came to sort this out. This was saving the restaurant over £60. I then suggested as a good will gesture that we all have a complimentary coffee. I was told only 1 or 2 coffees could be served. Perhaps I should have requested 9 teas as a cheaper option, but equally the manager could have suggested that. This did put a damper on our experience especially when we realised that we didn't even get so much as a verbal thank you. So after a lovely lunch we left disappointed and I changed what my review would have been 'excellent' to `average'.

My fiancé and I went tonight and had a really beautiful meal, with great service and a lovely, quiet atmosphere. We felt very welcome and at ease to be ourselves, which is sadly a rare experience in London restaurants. We'll certainly be coming back, it was just what we were hoping for.

Oh, I love this place. The staff always give a warm welcome and suddenly you're transported from Westminster to Italy. The food and service are consistently good, with a terrific range of specials and a wonderful Italian cheeseboard to end the meal. Sometimes I've had a quick, light business lunch. Sometimes it's a special meal in the room downstairs. Sometimes - as this week - just an informal dinner with an old, wise friend. It's that kind of place - it blends itself around the mood you are in. And, as I say, it's pretty special.

Good select choices of authentic Italian

We arrived here with 80 minutes before a concert in Smith Square. The staff got us through 2 courses in time but required a lot of prompting which was surprising as we were the only diners there for much of the time. They were were not particularly friendly and the food is good rather than excellent. Ravioli was tasty but could have been hotter while the semifreddo parfait was rather bland. Overall we enjoyed the meal that worked out at about £37 each (including service) for 2 courses but it is on the expensive side.

My first time here and I was mightily impressed. The service was nippy, the food came through quickly and the decor was simplistic and effective. The food was tasty and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a cheese and mushroom starter and some red passion wine. There were lots of attentive staff. The bathrooms were excellent and I really enjoyed it my time there this evening. Genuinely relaxing.

When we arrived, we were told that our reservation had been cancelled. The Fork app said it had not! The food was awesome even if we were placed at a table without a tablecloth.

After a day at a conference, my wife and I were looking for a convenient place to eat and we came across Osteria Dell'Angolo We were impressed with the decor, the service and the menu! Even the mango juice was very good indeed! The helpful waiter explained the additional menu items and I went for the Fritto Misto, which was the dish of the day - with whitebait, calamari rings and large prawns - delicious! My wife went for the pappardella (large flat Tuscan pasta) with lamb (so says the bill - though the menu on the website does not mention it). Definitely recommended!

Very well presented restaurant and staff, stylish, uncluttered, clean, authentic Italian cookery. Not many places serving polenta with hearty chunky texture sausages and greens. Everything tasty and well seasoned, a little corner of oddly in central Westminster. Service very good, young staff, well-coached, open kitchen behind glass, clean kitchen when I passed to say thank you.

A lovely and relaxed vibe with just the right amount of formality from staff. A delicious tuna steak on a bed of green beans was my choice and it was cooked to perfection and full of flavour. I'd recommend for a relaxed lunch.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had: the champagne was warm as the fridge had broken and the air conditioning wasn’t working on the hottest day of the year: all of which I could’ve forgiven if we’d been contacted beforehand. The staff were sullen and rude. The bread was stale: both times we asked for it to be replaced. A lot of this could’ve been saved by basic customer service but instead they were rude. It was a ruined special occasion and I certainly won’t return. I’d give zero stars if I could.

This is a real gem of a place for a quiet lunch. Good set menu with generous portions and the wine list is good too with a decent choice of wines by the glass. My only slight criticism is that it&#039;s not clear what is vegetarian or vegan. The excellent set menu didn&#039;t have anything vegetarian on it but they made the spaghetti main course vegetarian for me when I asked whether it was possible.<br />Lovely, helpful staff, non-intrusive and excellent service. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

A delicious meal, beautifully and unobtrusively served.

Not often in this part of town so we took a chance and were pleasantly surprised. Friendly and attentive staff, which is not a given these days and a good value. We tried a couple of things from the extra truffle menu which was not at all expensive and both were very good. The wine list is extensive and goes up into the stratosphere but we found a moderately priced Montepulciano which was much better than expected at its price point. Tiramisu came with no coffee or booze in it which was a shame but otherwise everything was very good and happy to recommend.

Delicious seasonal food. Italian at it&#039;s finest. There is an excellent set lunch, à la carte, and this time there was a black truffle menu - highly recommended and in no way overpriced.

Outstanding. Particularly as the whole restaurant filled in about 5 mins after an event we came from next door. The staff were so calm and bought out plate after plate with grace and a smile and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

Very grumpy guy at reception - no attempt even to say hello, let alone engage in conversation. Service at table from lovely waitress was in contrast delightful. Food mostly good, though the Italian sausages contained quite a bit of gristle.

The very attentive and charming service of the young staff was commendable. The special tagliolino with truffles was mouthwatering. Osteria’s tiramisu remains one of the best you can find in London. Can’t wait to go back!

The service, the food and the ambience including the mellow jazz in the background added to a wonderful dining experience...This is hidden gem which we had overlooked for many years. We had an excellent meal here after a hospital appointment. We were early for our booking but we were accommodated very well. The rabbit ragu was absolutely stunning; it was like being back in Italy. Superb flavours. <br />We will definitely be back here soon.
