Absolutely superb cafe. Have been eating here for years and always a delight. Sandwiches are always tasty and made fresh. Great coffee and recently discovered the tasty cannoli. The owner is always super friendly and would recommend this place unreservedly.

The food is great, staff were very accommadating when i visited with a friend with learning disabilities. the food is excellent, and they have a wide range of italian products to buy too. you cant go wrong with one of their delcious ciabbattas with lovely pesto. since visiting in person, i find myself keep coming back and ordering online!

I just ordered and picked up an authentic handmade panini. I had the classic Italian with spicey sauce. WOW! it was amazing. I arrived on time and it was ready. Super tasty - great coffee. Love these small authentic shops. Highly recommend.

We live close to this little cafe and have never been in but my husband recently came back home with sandwiches from there, which were absolutely delicious! Its a very very small cafe but always seems to be at least one person in there drinking a coffee and working on their laptop.

Great choice of freshly prepared paninis with authentic Italian ingredients. Great coffee too, much nicer than going to Costa!

Try the new menu and II Villaggio especially the fresh juices and great salads, its a real find with the health conscious Gym user the salads are made fresh, coffee is out of this orbit, and the welcome is great from Ahmed, he has great charm and kindness and a real interest in his local customers, you can order to take away and for special occasions just a great find for us.

We are new to the area and we have had about six meals in this establishment, yes it small and cosy but the owner has a wonderful way with people and is calm and collective, his food is great a very good menu, for a coffee bar, and he will oblige with anything you ask. For great coffee, amazing salads, I have tried most and like the Chicken and Egg, with the dressings. Its lovely to have an Independent establishment where the owner makes it fresh in front of your eyes, its definitely for us, and we will be visiting regularly...

If this is authentic italian. Coffee wasnt really impressive. I was so excited that i might have a great authentic italian after reading so many good review of this restaurant. But it wasnt really up to the reviews. I wouldnt say this is authentic italian coffee.

Of course, there's more to Il Villaggio than coffees and teas...but that's what I pop in for most mornings. A superb cup of Italian coffee, served by friendly owner Hamid and made just how you like it. Such a cosy independent just 50 yards from the High Street means that I never have to go into an impersonal chain again. Ever. The food, whenever I've tried it, is good too. And you can sit outside too. Weather permitting. Highly recommended.

V friendly Italian run deli/coffee shop. Super choice of panini and ciabatta fillings and lovely fresh salads. Coffee is proper coffee , I usually visit after the Gym as its just over the road. Some nice deli offerings too.

The coffee is very good as are the pastries available behind the counter. Their lunch menu is also very good with a wide variety of sandwiches, snacks and drinks!

This is a small local Italian deli serving fresh sandwiches with a wide selection of meats. On Saturdays, home made tiramisu is available.

Un excellent expresso, de délicieux chocolats chauds, capuccinos, smoothies, glaces et biscottis, nous n'avons testé que la pause "sucrée" mais les charcuteries italiennes avaient l'air très appétissantes ! Durant notre séjour nous sommes passés là chaque après midi en rentrant du parc qui est à proximité. Le patron est sympathique et efficace l'ambiance intimiste. Envie d'une pause tranquille ? N'hésitez plus : trois tables en terrasse, deux à l'intérieur et quelques tabourets, vous ne serez pas dérangé par le brouhaha habituel des snacks.

This is probably one of New Malden's best kept secrets.Tucked away just off the High Street it serves delicious coffee and the food is simple but very tasty. Always prepared fresh to order and the little filo parcels make a lovely and indulgent treat as well. The service is excellent and friendly, after only a few visits you are recognised as a regular. Love it.

We often head here for a leisurely coffee and a panini at the weekend. The people who run it are all very friendly but can take a while to get your order! It's very small so tempted not to tell anyone else as the food and coffee are brilliant. Definitely where I head to for a coffee in New Malden.

They do great panini here, everything with really fresh ingredients. This is the real taste of Italy and if you anything from Mortadella to authentic pasta or even Italian brandy they do it. Quite restricted seating for lunch but takeaways are good.

We eat here often. Delicious loaded authentic ciabattas and panini served with a smile and great coffee. It's only small so would prefer it if you didn't go but you should.

Very tasty paninis/ciabattas,cheaper that the competition and much tastier!meat and ham cut from fresh.shame it has only got 2 little tables inside.there is a small outdoor area but as it is not sheltered,often you have to sit inside. i would recommend for a take away lunch!

Presently, without question the best two-shot Americano in New Malden. Rich and aromatic, and a great crema. Just a few tables in a deli setting - surround yourself with authentic Italian food products - coffee amongst the Panettones! The hot tip, though, is to get there on a Saturday morning. Il Villaggio sell a limited quantity of homemade Tiramisu that is to die for. You buy a plastic container of it - to have with your coffee, and then to take home for another time. Great value, but definitely amongst the best Tiramisu I've ever tasted. This is my prescription for a happy Saturday morning in this corner of Surrey - Americano & Tiramisu from Il Villaggio. Bellissimo!

Authentic Italian food and deli. Coffee is the best in New Malden. Americano is rich, smooth and the right temperature. Love the capuccino and latte - amazing aroma! The place itself is tiny but if you go there in the late afternoon on a working day there will be a free table. Ambience is very relaxing and looks exactly like a typical coffee place in Southern Europe. The staff is very friendly, very personal approach. Sandwiches selection is amazing - very mediterrenian and light. Best European take away in New Malden. You will love it! You can also buy some Italian cookies and cakes and olives, cheese and ham from their deli selection. Amazing homemade tiramisu for £4 on Saturdays only. Try it, you will definetely want to come back there!

I love this place! I almost don't want to write this review so that it stays a coveted New Malden secret, it's that good. Tiny inside, so more appropriate for a quick tasty lunch than a big splurge, the ingredients are fresh, varied and tasty, the service is quick and friendly and they also do wine and beer. Fantastic.

The only decent sandwich shop in New Malden. Great selection, good service and brilliant tasting food.
