Italian taste cafe in Kingston upon Thames

The food we ordered was spectacular and was quick and efficient. Our waitress was a very kind lady who really took care of us whilst we were there and was really helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone else visiting Kingston.

Vegan and gluten free, they’ll also make to order any special requests which was particularly helpful, as there aren’t many places we can eat, but we were with a friend and it was wonderful.

The best place to get a coffee!

A really nice friendly clean place to have breakfast or lunch. Always go out of their way to be helpful. My dog also enjoys coming here.

Absolutely gorgeous meal. Staff were warm, friendly and very accommodating. Simple, great Italian food. Ribeye was to die for. Melt in your mouth tender !! Will be back

This is the best café in Surbiton/ Kingston. Great value.

I’m surprised the place has good reviews. The coffee was just burnt and unpleasant. The carbonara I had was honestly the worst I’ve ever had. It tasted like a cheap frozen ready meal. Even the bacon seemed like days-old dried crispy bacon. The waiter with the grey pony tail quite literally threw my bowl down without a word and walked off. So poor quality food and service. It’s like a builders cafe but with a face lift to seem Italian.

wow!....spotless and bright with reasonable prices for a London coffee shop. I was at the unattended laundry close by and needed change. graciously given change and 2 cookies with my (HOT) latte while I waited for the clothes dryer. I will be back for sure and I thank the owners for their hospitality on a very cold, wet London day....

Excellent as always. Great bacon rolls. Lovely egg rolls and tasty salmon and cream cheese roll. Very good value for money. Extensive menu for breakfast and lunch meals. Recommended.

Excellently run Italian in the centre of Surbiton. Great selection of reasonably priced wines, and the food is always top notch.

Terrible service, elderly man slams food plate on the other side of the table, wouldn’t even expect that treatment in prison being served a meal. Have been to funerals with more cheerful atmosphere. Certainly won’t be returning ever!

I went in here with my Mum and it's such a lovely little place. There is tons on the menu, lots of great homemade dishes and breakfasts, and huge choice of cakes. Very reasonable prices. The owner was also so lovely, saying that my Mum (who is in her eighties) could go and sit in there anytime without a pressure to buy anything. It really is a great cafe.

This is a great restaurant to order from. Huge choice of items and very competitive prices. We often have their small bacon rolls, egg rolls and cream cheese and salmon rolls. All packed full and delicious. Today we also ordered spaghetti carbonara - very tasty and a generous portion. Highly recommended.

I have been getting my lunch from this cafe for 4 years - all through my undergraduate degree and now on my MSc course. I specifically went there for lunch today as a treat to celebrate a good grade I just received (that’s how delicious the food is!) I got an egg mayonnaise sandwich on white bread and I think it might be the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten! Doesn’t get any fresher then watching the server peel the eggs to make the egg mayo! Everything I have eaten in there is delicious, the interior is absolutely beautiful, especially since they had a revamp, and the staff are always polite, helpful and quick with their service! I never write reviews but this place 100% deserves it!

All I can say is wow. Took me a long time to find a decent breakfast as I don’t eat pork. The halal breakfast with scrambled egg was perfect. The presentation and the way it was packed it was so cute. The food was delicious. I loved the portion and the turkey rashers was probably the best I’ve ever had. Also fantastic cappuccino! Thank you so much you made my day!

Courier called me when they got lost. I gave them simple directions to find me. The food was immediately marked as delivered and I never got my food. Tried calling the restaurant and no one would answer the phone. I'd like my money please.

Avoid. Asked for a simple jacket potato - arrived 30 mins later despite the cafe not being busy. What was worse was that it was rock hard in the middle, cold and overpriced. Won’t eat here again.

A wonderfully warm and welcoming place with tasty food and friendly service

Lovely service and homely atmosphere. I had the avocado toast and a latte -- both were nice and comforting. The owners are incredibly kind and have amazing senses of humour. Would certainly recommend for any students looking to have something to eat after classes.

Quiet place where you can eat your breakfast, pasta and drink a good coffee.

I am a Uni student and have been to this place few times , the ladies at the counter are friendly but there is a man with a pony , he is very rude and unfriendly . He needs to attend a good customer service skills course

Best club sandwich I've ever eaten! So lovely speaking to the owner who seems extremely proud of his restaurant (as he should be) and was very keen to tell us all about his future plans for the place. There is also a lovely seating area out the back! Will definitely be back to try the homemade lasagne which looked amazing.

Really nice food and friendly staff

I’ve only been in this cafe twice in the last 6 months but both times the male owner has been rude and aggressive. The first time I walked out because he told me off for closing the door in winter when I was the only customer there, and was really pedantic and rude during conversation. The 2nd time I visited, he was shouting at the staff. Customers don’t want to hear that and it’s wrong anyway. It’s a shame because the food is excellent and the other staff are lovely. In summary, don’t give this man your custom, he is toxic and I fear for his staff/family.

The restaurant owner’s behavior extremely rude for us, he shout us like a crazy. Bad foods, terrible services and poor quality employees. Already reported to the police, also we will report another places related to food industry. I hope this place close soon. no one deserves extremely rude behavior.

Extremely disrespectful restaurant owner and bad food. Although we ordered pasta in an Italian restaurant, they brought us a soup-like dish, and it tasted awful. After that, the manager, who thought that the smell of weed coming from the outside came from us, spoke to us with racist gestures, walked over us, do not visit this restaurant.

Beautiful Italian coffee shop. Lovely morning listening to their music. The lady was so friendly. So glad I was too early for the shop to be open otherwise I would never of stopped in here.

I've been going to this café on and off for 10 years and it's seen a lot of changes in that time, the breakfast used to be a lot bigger and cost a lot less than it does now and at the current prices I won't be going back. At nearly £10 for a traditional breakfast and a coffee almost double what it used to cost it now no longer equates to good value for money which is a shame as the owners are very nice. You can get a lot more for a lot less and the same quality food ( BREAKFAST) at the Sunshine café on Tolworth Broadway. A sad day indeed but goodbye from a once loyal happy customer. PS The food at this café is good if you're happy to pay the prices, I'm not.

We ordered 6 rolls crusty 3 with bacon 2 with sausage and a hame and tomato what came was 6 rolls but burger rolls flat awful even the ham and tomato roll was a burger roll like the macdonalds hamburger rolls and it was toasted would never order from here again £23 down the drain

Lovely little find, pleasant survive, excellent value for money

Milkshake was a lot thinner than I'd expect for a premium one, but it we as still nice. The ice cream however was OUTSTANDING. Tastes absolutely amazing. Will be returning for more!

Great place for morning breakfast and coffe

Just had lunch with my sister and the food was very tasty! I had a spicy chicken panini which was recommended by the lovely man who works there and my sister had the meatballs which she loved! If your looking for good tasty food with a great service look no further. Just to add they have a lovely area to eat out back so I’ll be sitting there on my next visit!!!

Great cafe for some breakfast/brunch/lunch, the sandwiches are pretty tasty and breakfast options are good. The coffee here tastes great too. They have good breakfast and lunch deals served with a hot/cold drink for a decent price. The staff here are also super lovely!
