The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Italian food

Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. The staff were excellent and the food was really good and served quickly even though we hadn’t booked and they were very busy.

Went for a pre-theatre meal, it was very busy but staff were still very friendly and attentive. Food was beautiful as always!

1-Dec-22: Visited as a party of 4 on a Thursday evening. The restaurant was busy and buzzy and waiting staff were friendly. Food was OK, nothing special but nothing bad. My carbonara served from the parmesan wheel was a bit of fun.

What a treat! When you’re sick of chains owned by private equity firms squeezing the last bit of profit out of their establishments and you want real food made by real people then this little gem might well be the place for you. We went for dinner and enjoyed tasty salad, bruschetta, pizza and desert with good wine and proper coffee in a quaint setting with excellent service. We’ll be back.

absolutely incredible customer service! staff are absolutely amazing, i’m so sorry i didn’t get anyone’s names :(, so funny and the food is absolutely delicious and so reasonably priced! service was quick and went out of their way to get the whole restraunt to sing happy birthday to a friend! will 100% be back thankyou so much x

We went for a pre-theatre early dinner. The meal was wonderful - we had a large portion of lasagne each, piping hot with a lovely tomato sauce and I think it was made with fresh pasta sheets. Topped with a lavish dollop of grated parmesan/Reggiano and it was gorgeous. Then following that we had panacotta. What a delight - again homemade and so delicious that we both wanted to lick the bowl, but couldn't, as we had the window seat and the restaurant was fairly full. So we just looked longingly at the empty bowl. A wonderful find in Eastbourne. We hadn't made a booking but fortunately they were able to find a table for us! We will certainly return on our next visit to Eastbourne.

Great food but not a traditional Italian carbonara which was disappointing. Fantastic pizza!

Another excellent meal at Cabbage Hall. All dishes arrived together and all delicious. Great service from Paulo and the staff.
