The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Italian food

We ordered 4 takeaway meals and were advised to collect at 6pm. They were ready on time and we all thoroughly enjoyed our choices. Very impressed with our first experience with this restaurant and will visit again.

My wife and I had a l table booked but upon arrival we were left standing in the middle of the restaurant (for more than 15 minutes) with no greeting or welcome from staff, nowhere to wait and no explanation or apology. Once (eventually) seated, staff didn’t seem friendly and were actually a little impolite. It seems that the restaurants policy is more about “bums on seats” than a friendly and warm service. Food was really good but atmosphere and service means we’ll be in no hurry to return.

We arrived and was warmly welcomed.starter was very expensive I had 4 prawns and 2 very small pieces if toast,my hubby had calamari that wasn't crispy.waited ages for pizza no complaints there,they were lovely and the saute potatoes.they forgot our water.girls were very good.would we go again....I doubt it. Very expensive. Also we have just moved here so we went on there Web page for prices before we went.they need to up date this as it's very very misleading. A £12 pizza is now £17

Shut & doesn’t look like the pictures so no idea what it’s like. Suggest you drive by before deciding as I cannot say it’s still in business

Difficult to express how disappointing this was. To be clear it is 5 years since we last visited and we have experienced two superb meals back then. Finding ourselves in Bradford for an event we were keen to go back to Jinnah for another traditional Pakistani meal. Busy during Ramadan and a party was on as well but we were ushered to our seats by 'uncle'. orders taken speedily but 'uncle' had to come back and double check the berbal order 5 times before it was finalised. I know we appeared to be an older white couple, we were asked for our preference of spice level for the main meal. I was happy with medium but my wife has lost much of her spice tolerance and requested a mild butter chicken for the main meal. This resulted in some amusement and jokey smirks. The lamb chop starter was excellent...and you can judge a lot about a Pakistani restaurant from its lamb chops!! The chicken Pakoras also very good. Sadly from here it was all downhill. My chicken Keema was very average compared to the excellent version sI have enjoyed here many years ago. The quality of the chicken was not great, flavour a bit bland to be honest. Not a great example of on eof my favourite dishes. Pilau very average indeed. However my wifes 'mild' butter chicken was much hotter than my medium keema. For her it was inedible and the chicken was also poor quality. We asked uncle why it was so hot when we ordered very mild. His laugh and patronising response was not encouraging. He whisked it away to produce another and told my wife 'to try this we hope you enjoy this one'. It was the same chicken and all that had been done was the addition of a sweet korma or dhansak sauce to the dish. It was sweet but just as hot. He laughed as he left. I ate my meal, my wife did not but we asked for it to be boxed for our son who is happy with very spicy meals. We got the packing boxes thrown at us and were left for 15 minutes before just packing it up ourselves and leaving. Rude does not cover it. We know that 'uncle' just assumed we were two old white duffers who probably cant tell a good curry from a bad one. However he was wrong. My wifes father was born and grew up in Jhalum. We eat proper home cooked Pakistani food week in week out and both my wife and I can cook better traditional Pakistani food than we had today. Yes we left angry, mostly we left hungry, and no we will never return. Shocking service, poor food, nothing traditional or authentic about this restaurant, food or service. 'Uncle' absolutely let his family down.

This visit was for a special Sardinian night. The evening went very well with excellent food and wines and the service and atmosphere was very friendly. We always enjoy eating here and look forward to the next time

Had a great lunch at chianti has been taken over recently and what a difference menu had a good choice also do a varied lunch menu food was lovely service was attentive we will definitely be back

Menú nuevo que visitas anteriores pero absolutamente excelente. No hay menú para niños, pero no hay problema, ya que todo se podría hacer en una porción para niños a un precio muy razonable, incluyendo brotes de frutas y helado. A los más pequeños les encantó su pizza, que era de tamaño perfecto para niños de 3 años y llegó a llevar las sobras a casa. El mayor de 5 años amó su tostada francesa con Nutella y fruta fresca se veía delicioso. Tuvimos el menú del almuerzo de entrantes y principales. Los entrantes eran muy bruschetta y macarrones y bocados de queso, ambos extremadamente sabrosos. Los dos tuvimos hongos de pollo para principal y estaba delicioso, la pasta era aldenti, un montón de pollo, hongos y la cantidad correcta de salsa con una patada de chile encantador. El helado para niños era una porción de buen tamaño con una selección de salsas. Nos dieron cannoli para llevar a casa que eran deliciosos y una gran elección de sabores. El café es realmente genial allí también. El personal era encantador, extremadamente servicial, amable y nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos. Muy buen precio para una familia de cuatro.

Visitamos el restaurante para el cumpleaños de mi hija. Nos recibieron con una cálida bienvenida y mi hija estaba sentada con sus amigos. El personal era muy atento y amable. Realmente hicieron un esfuerzo para hacer la comida especial. La comida era fabulosa. Sin duda volveremos.

Fuimos el Día de la Madre, fue una comida muy agradable y de buena calidad. Los trabajadores también eran agradables y acogedores. Recomiendo encarecidamente.

Very good food and pretty good value. The service was a bit slow and not very welcoming, but in fairness the staff were busy!
