Muy agobiado. Visitamos Bradford para una de las exposiciones de la ciudad de la cultura y decidimos que deberíamos tener uno de los famosos curry. Preguntamos a una pareja local y sugirieron Jinnah. Llegamos sobre las 4. 30 . Un camarero muy familiar nos abrazó a mí y a mi marido a la llegada a través de la puerta y yo estaba bastante perturbado, ya que él era un completo extraño. Él era ruidoso y pensó que era divertido al servirnos y algo dominante. La comida era normal y mi pollo karahi era una salsa caliente sobre trozos fríos y duros de pollo. Los bhajis de cebolla estaban secos y pastosos. Poppadoms estaban bien. Los cócteles estaban bien. Pedimos nana simple pero conseguimos nana de ajo. El arroz Pilau estaba bien. Pedimos la factura, pero nos dijeron que deberíamos ir a la caja y prefieren efectivo no tarjeta. El camarero nos pidió que dejáramos algo de dinero en la mesa, ya que los propietarios no le dan las propinas! En la caja nos dijeron un precio y la señora muy antipática que tomaba el dinero no parecía demasiado impresionada que pedimos ver el billete para poder comprobarlo. Tranquilo cuando llegamos, pero pronto se puso ocupado y los camareros lanzando sillas ruidosamente a nuestro alrededor. Realmente decepcionado, ya que esperaba un curry legendario. Debe haber mejores lugares en la ciudad que nos perdimos.

El peor restaurante en el que he estado en mi vida. La comida no tenía sabor ni textura y me hacía girar el estómago. El servicio era deficiente y no volveremos a visitar.

Como una chica blanca que ha vuelto al islam, definitivamente no recomendaría este restraunt a nadie en la misma situación que yo, visité hoy 16 / 03 / 2025 para iftari con mi familia cuando arrivibg a restraunt todo parecía bien hasta que nos llevaron a nuestra mesa eran un hombre musulmán y una mujer musulmana que trabajaba aquí comenzó a hablar su idioma y me dieron la esencia de lo que me estaban llamando, así que cuando mi marido caminó le pedí que confirmara, ya que él es musulmán y habla el idioma y básicamente se estaban riendo entre ellos continuamente diciendo: ¿Queremos tomar la fruta y los dátiles gura gura gura y reírnos un poco más. Mi marido se puso de pie y dijo que no cenaríamos aquí después de lo que habían hecho y decidió disculparse. al hablar con el jefe a la salida estaba más preocupado de que otros clientes supieran lo que había pasado que de ordenar su personal. En el mes de Ramadan avergonzarse de ti. Nunca juzgues a alguien por el color de su piel. Nunca volverá a poner un pie aquí.

Es difícil expresar lo decepcionante que fue esto. Para que quede claro son 5 años desde la última vez que visitamos y hemos experimentado dos excelentes comidas en ese entonces. Encontrándonos en Bradford para un evento que estábamos dispuestos a volver a Jinnah para otra comida tradicional pakistaní. Ocupado durante el Ramadán y una fiesta también estaba en marcha, pero fuimos acomodados a nuestros asientos por el 'tío'. pedidos tomados rápidamente, pero el 'tío' tuvo que volver y volver a comprobar el pedido berbal 5 veces antes de que se finalizara. Sé que parecíamos una pareja blanca mayor, nos pidieron nuestra preferencia de nivel de especias para la comida principal. Yo estaba contento con el medium pero mi esposa ha perdido mucha de su tolerancia a las especias y ha solicitado un pollo de mantequilla suave para la comida principal. Esto resultó en algunas sonrisas divertidas y bromistas. El entrante de chuletas de cordero era excelente... y se puede juzgar mucho sobre un restaurante pakistaní por sus chuletas de cordero! El pollo Pakoras también muy bueno. Lamentablemente desde aquí todo fue cuesta abajo. Mi pollo Keema era muy promedio en comparación con la excelente versión que he disfrutado aquí hace muchos años. La calidad del pollo no era genial, sabor un poco soso para ser honesto. No es un gran ejemplo de mis platos favoritos. Pilau muy promedio de hecho. Sin embargo, mi esposa 'suave' pollo de mantequilla era mucho más caliente que mi keema medio. Para ella no era comestible y el pollo también era de mala calidad. Le preguntamos al tío por qué hacía tanto calor cuando pedimos muy suave. Su respuesta risueña y condescendiente no fue alentadora. Él se lo llevó para producir otro y le dijo a mi esposa 'para probar esto esperamos que disfruten de este'. Era el mismo pollo y todo lo que se había hecho era añadir una salsa dulce korma o dhansak al plato. Era dulce pero igual de caliente. Se rió al irse. Comí mi comida, mi esposa no, pero pedimos que fuera en caja para nuestro hijo que está feliz con comidas muy picantes. Nos tiraron las cajas de embalaje y nos dejaron 15 minutos antes de empacarlas nosotros mismos y marcharnos. La grosería no lo cubre. Sabemos que el tío asumió que éramos dos viejos idiotas blancos que probablemente no saben distinguir un buen curry de uno malo. Sin embargo, estaba equivocado. Mi esposa padre nació y creció en Jhalum. Comemos comida pakistaní casera apropiada semana tras semana y tanto mi esposa como yo podemos cocinar mejor comida tradicional pakistaní que la que tuvimos hoy. Sí, nos fuimos enojados, sobre todo nos fuimos hambrientos, y no, nunca volveremos. Servicio impactante, comida pobre, nada tradicional o auténtico sobre este restaurante, comida o servicio. 'Tío' absolutamente decepcionó a su familia.

Arrived mid-afternoon, lovely friendly welcome. Had time to look at the menu, and we were not rushed to make a decision. Our starters arrived in a good time, and the portion sizes we very generous. Starters finished we readied ourselves for our mains. Again very generous portions, and absolutely delicious. We didn't finish all of it, not by a long way, we were offered to pack it to take away too. The service was warm and friendly, the food was outstanding, excellent value for money.

The restaurant is in an extremely central location with ample parking. The restaurant itself has been done out to a high standard with beautiful decor. If you want authentic Pakistani cuisine, then I would certainly recommend the place. We ordered a selection of curries all of which were done well and the portions were generous. I would stay clear of their 'world food cuisine'- this is not what they're known for and is extremely variable in quality depending on what you get. My main concern with the restaurant is how they dealt with a person with coeliac disease. We entered the restaurant and there is a clear sign saying to state allergies/intolerances and that they will be able to accommodate. This is clearly just something put in place to cover them legally, but was extremely evident that they were lacking in execution. None of the servers could clearly state which of the menu items were gluten free, and it was clear that they did not know what gluten was. We were passed from server to server. One server stated that all the curries were all gluten free, however when probed as to the authenticity of certain curries, it was evident that some of the traditional curries (which use flour/atta etc) were not GF. We were eventually passed to a more senior member of staff (the manager and/or owner) who went through the menu at length explaining which items were GF and which were not. We thought we were finally getting somewhere, only to be told that there is no separate prepartion area and therefore the items are not actually gluten free. This all made for a very disappointing experience and I was shocked that such a highly acclaimed restaurant could not even explain any allergens. Coeliac disease is on the rise amongst the British population as a whole and in particular the South Asian community. A single crumb of gluten can cause severe and life threatening symptoms in these persons. To finish it all off, after quite an arduous task ordering, one older serving kept making jokes about the drinks and serviettes also being gluten free. He clearly could not read the mood at the table and this just led to further upset. I do believe Jinnah could be an excellent restaurant if they focussed on what they do best- Pakistani cuisine only, and if they addressed the extremely serious lacking in training and kitchen awareness. In the meantime, I would exercise caution if you are intending to eat there and have any requirements.

Gorgeous range of dishes, and amazing sized portions. Great staff who are really accommodating. Managed to get a table last minute and there was no trouble at all

This was our first time at Jinnah but if definitely won’t be our last. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great and the service was second to none. We will be back!

Just been to Jinnah Bradford as other restaurant we booked you couldn’t even get in the door due to over booking and greed😳, so we went to Jinnah Bradford for the 1st time and it was fantastic, staff attentive and pleasant. Being a qualified chef myself I appreciate good quality food and flavours and would highly recommend it.

Food is 4.5 here. It’s great. The staff are nice and the restaurant is very nice too. But they had a wedding on the same evening we went which meant we were not able to get our order in till they had sorted all the wedding guests. Not sure why they let us reserve a table at that time if they were not going to be able to serve us and have us sitting down with a two hungry year old.

Time to go out and eat with my dad (and without my kids) - not a regular occurrence. I was on a (futile) search for a lunchtime curry buffet, which used to be a thing. Then I settled for just a lunchtime curry. Even that was tricky. Found this place. Easy to find and with its own car park. Staff were lovely. Really good food. In my opinion it’s more of a special occasion evening meal venue but fair play for being open on a Wednesday lunchtime when few (curry) places are.

Top Top visit to Jinnah at Bradford for meal before visiting show at St Georges Hall. Didn't have a table booked but this wasn't a problem and was shown straight to table. Clean and comfortable seating and table. Meal was excellent and the service spot on, attentive, professional and with some humour and banter. Atmosphere in the restaurant was friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return in the future and can highly recommend.

Me and my family went to this restaurant for iftar buffet and the food was terribly horrible the food was rotten and looked 2 days old and the family table was so small and the smell was horrible like the environment do not recommend 0 ☆ waste my time and my time never ever going again

The most rude, vile and distasteful owners with least respect and integrity in the service and for their customers! Staff fingering and eating from bowls of food served for the customers without gloves on only to lick the hands and continue with the service. When informed this to the owners 3 people from the owner himself tried to intimidate the customer infront of children to scare them. What a horrible place to eat!

Ate here with my daughter and grandson. I have travelled in India and Pakistan and can vouch for the quality and authenticity of the food. It benefits from not having the usual vast numbers of dishes that one often sees on Asian restaurant menus. Thoroughly recommended.

Absolute joke.. wait time was riddiculous, food was below par, the service was ridiculous and management extremely rude.. an old lady with family sat near us complained and was treated with so much disrespect... I would never visit or recommend this place again

Asian dishes at Main course was ok. We ordered a pizza which tastes like it was a frozen cooked pizza, so disappointing. Desserts are horrible obviously not made in house and pre frozen- we ordered 7 desserts and although priced ok it isn’t ok to eat food that’s such poor quality. Their mock tails aren’t good either. I won’t be visiting again that was the first and last time. Don’t recommend at all. There’s so many good places in Bradford don’t be fooled by the glitzy signage.

From walking through the door we were greeted by a friendly smile . The waiter took us to one of the booths and showed us what was on offer from the menu . We had dietary requirements so were given good advice . We placed our order and the food was prepared within minutes from scratch . We ate starters , mains and a small dessert and we given the option of having our surplus main course boxed up to take home . We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this Bradford restaurant and was one of the highlights of the weekend. Definitely worth a return visit . Thank you .

We wasn’t actually going to eat here, we’re from Hull and was on our way to another restaurant up the road when we stumbled upon Jinnah. We decided to give this place a go, and so glad that we did. The service Was excellent and the food was amazing. We’re already planning our next visit.

I was asking dad if he wanted to return to Jinnah, after saying no I asked why? Said that towards the end of the evening dad was finishing off his chips when the waiter came over and removed them, seems it was time for us to go! Had I seen this would have prevented it happening. How rude!!

My boyfriend and I visited on a Saturday evening and we were delighted by the experience. The food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced but what made it for us was the service. Our waiter was attentive, so friendly and talked to us in detail about the menu and the dishes and even brought us extra of this delicious coriander and mint pickle. I can’t wait to return.

I do not expect the staff to hover the floor in the restaurant whilst people are still eating. I also thought the pilau rice that I ordered would have at least some tumeric in it.
