A small venue, but nice pub. The staff were really friendly and accommodating to our group. The drinks were an average price considering the area, the beer seemed cheap. Mainly a locals pub :)
The minus star is because there was no fish and chips and because the menu is a bit skimpy.

Coffee shop it is not . It is more like a greasy spoon cafe. Seems to exist mainly for all day brunches and not coffee and cake. Choice of cake in the ‘ coffee shop’ limited unlike in the bakery downs
We recently used The Barrows Bistro to hold a Birthday Party and I was extremely impressed. I wanted somewhere a bit different to the normal Hotel or pub scenario and I was not disappointed!
