O'Neills in Watford

The darts is great fun, very interactive and good for all abilities. BUT, the beer is shocking, flat Peroni served in warm glasses!

Me and my family ate here and I had the ”Meat Feast” pizza and it was one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten 10/10 would recommend

Came forward meeting around the corner we came in for food after the pub looks absolutely amazing looked a the darts place next door and the atmosphere there was top notch

I must be living on another planet seeing all the excellent reviews. I am rating my visits average and giving them to opportunity to see if things improve. The service is generally okay, but I've had some odd experiences in the few times I've been in. When I asked the lady at the till what was closing time, she didn't have a clue. Whether or not an employee is working days or newly started, that information is critical to the onboarding process. No offer to find out from a colleague....simply 'I don't know' is not good enough when you're in the hospitality business. One of the toilets was completely filled with toilet paper and backed up and was in the most awful state. Not the sort of thing you want to see when you're having a meal! I ordered Churros and the server said to tell him when I was ready for them so they could be done hot and fresh. I said okay and 10 minutes later went to request them but he was on a break. 25 minutes later the churros arrived, anything but hot and fresh! They were hard and cold. At the brink of not being edible. I had 2 pieces and left the rest. I would like to say this is a one-off but I've had 2 bad food experiences here and 1 good one so it's hit-or-miss really. This is my new 'local' so it's a place I will visit often and will give the food another try.

We had a great time yesterday and were provided with great service. I want to thank Melu for looking after us and being patient with us regardless of our annoyance.

I booked a table for a leaving do at 8:30 - when we went to sit down and order food, we were told that they were no longer serving food - very poor. However, the darts was very good.

Well organised Xmas party. We made a booking here with Tina for dinner. She was really helpful. The pub was nicely decorated.

Went there with my friend Terry for a birthday party. I'm not one to go to pubs, but was pleasantly surprised, by how much I enjoyed it. Great food and atmosphere. We were looked after by the lovely Hannah, who made sure our visit was a good experience. Will return over the Xmas period with friends

Ran into the pub for a quick bite when the kids started kicking off. Was attended to by an attentive, well mannered young lady Hannah. She provided 5* customer service. Would recommend to anyone & definitely planning on going back.

Had an amazing time at oneills recently for a work christmas party. The place has a good variety of beers on tap and a great vibe. Tina, who took our booking, was very nice and helpful, and was knowledgeable about the packages available. The other staff were nice also.

Very large pub conveniently located right next to the train station. Service behind the bar was quick and friendly and there’s a good mix of seating types throughout. It’s unique to have the darts facilities in the adjacent room so easy to spend a number of hours here with friends. Prices were good considering the location and I’ll certainly be returning next time I’m waiting for a train!
