My friend and I came here after we had a brunch elsewhere. Vibes were brilliant, food was delicious and drinks were on it. We had barely paid and the drinks were at our table! Definitely recommend. They are brilliant with service. We had Casey, Annika, Aidan and all of them were absolutely brilliant with keeping the drinks flowing and making sure we were well served and looked after. Come here and you will be treated well I promise!

Great service! Adam is very attentive and knowledgeable, he told us about the new possible refurbishment and was happy to hear our our feedback. Thank you! Look forward to seeing the newest happening.

I would never recommend or tell anyone to go to this horrible atmosphere of a place they call O’Neill, I went there today for a drink and a possible meal where at the bar they told me that kids are allowed in until 6pm, I left at 6pm but was very disappointed and not pleased as I asked to speak to the manager he seems like a chill back guy that’s just there for his pay check… he then said that there policy stated it till 6pm for kids but as I had a look at the policy there was no time on the policy so I’m very disappointed in the service and hope the management staff learn there policy.

Nunca recomendaría ni le diría a nadie que fuera a este horrible ambiente de un lugar que llaman O’Neill, fui allí hoy para una bebida y una posible comida donde en el bar me dijeron que los niños pueden entrar hasta las 6 pm, me fui a las 6 pm, pero estaba muy decepcionado y no contento ya que pedí hablar con el gerente que parece un chico tranquilo que solo está allí para su cheque de pago... luego dijo que allí la política lo declaró hasta las 6 pm para los niños, pero como tuve un vistazo a la política no había tiempo en la política, así que estoy muy decepcionado con el servicio y espero que el personal de gestión aprenda allí la política.

I’m struggling to see how this be called an Irish bar? I asked for a pint of stout and none of the staff knew what I meant. Not even a draught ale on offer. In the end I was offered a £5.55 bottle of Doom Bar. Zero atmosphere and really struggling to see the Irish connection.

This place is absolutely amazing! The heart of reading in my opinion, I came with my work colleagues and we had the best time. Our server was a young lady called Dior she made sure we were taken care of the entire Time we were there. A credit to this establishment.

Had the Mighty Meaty burger. It had done kebab in. OMG! So nice, full of flavour. Good range of drinks. I had the Punk IPA, which I love. Staff were really friendly & helpful.

Por lo general, evite como en una esquina y lleno de hombres jóvenes en una noche de fiesta. Era un lunes por la tarde y fuimos atraídos por la junta publicitando un almuerzo especial. Algunos clientes mayores, un padre y un hijo pequeño - el lugar era tranquilo. Madera. Cabinas. Una sensación clásica. Ahora venía el problema, las comidas anunciadas venían con Pepsi, café, té, vino, Carlsberg - ninguno de los cuales tenían. Guinness o limonada gaseosa era todo lo que se ofrecía. Un anuncio de acciones. Así que la limonada era con cerdo y puerro bangers y puré en salsa de whisky que era suculento y gammon / huevos / piña / patatas fritas / guisantes perfectamente a la parrilla.

Nice pub it's a shame staff spent all evening hanging decorations during work hours. Slamming ladders and dragging them on the tiles. No need and very disruptive to customers.

Was in there recently with friends and the customer service was amazing and friendly and welcoming and the table service was incredibly fast. Made the experience even better so credit to all the staff and management making the place function. Highly recommend and will 100% be back there again. 10/10!

So I visited Oneils and was greeted by a member of staff, Adam. Great customer service, very helpful. I went in for a snack and drink with a mate and to watch the footie. Adam was the perfect host, thank you Adam

The mighty meaty burger is the best burger I’ve had in ages would definitely recommend it to have. The service was exceptional even though the lady was training a new employee. We use O’Neills to eat when we visit Reading.

Me and my Friend had the 12.99 for Two meals . We had the Cider battered fish and chips with peas and tarter sauce . Couldn’t believe it when we saw the plates the fish was enormous and loads of chips and very tasty and hot , All washed down with pints of Guinness. Service from staff was great . Will be coming Again .

Went to watch the rugby on the weekend. Busy and plenty of people around, so luckily we had prebooked a table. Good view of the TV, but music was playing so couldn't listen to the game like we had wanted. Table service is great through app and the wait staff.

Good for sports, normally watch the foodball here. Live music on weekends with a good atmosphere

Ordered a single shot of spirit/mixer and a Peroni and came £14+, not what I was expecting. Walk down the road and there is a Wetherspoons. Didn’t order food but there was the option of two mains for £12.50 which had a burger and fish/chips listed on it.

They loud music will get customers in, I think it had opposite effects. The music was poor compared to other bars. This used have good live bands but went to disco, which was pretty dire.

Were pushed out today by a load of under age kids from the festival who brought their own drinks in. The manager let them all in and turned the telly over to the football without any options to the regulars who were actually buying drinks from the bar. We approached the manager, who didn't care less
