All the sandwiches and sausage rolls were anemic in colour, even after going into their little oven the pastry on my sausage roll was raw on the bottom, I asked them about it and they had no clue just said its hot so it's fine. Lovely service overall but a young team who need some leadership. The space is nice BUT its basically a giant creche so really noisy and needs more frequent cleaning.

It’s got a vermin problem and they don’t care ! All of London has rats but if they are running loose in the upstairs bar at 11pm you have a big problem ! You ask to speak to the duty manager and the bar staff tell you he is in the office ! You eventually track down the manager and you are told ‘thank you ‘ but indifferent ! Manager doesn’t care , bar staff don’t care bet your bottom dollar the kitchen don’t care !

Booked table online so we could watch the match. Given table reservation. Ordered food and from that point went down hill. Over 40 minute wait for a stone baked Pizza that was microwaved and then half way through first half of match the sports channel was switched off. No explanation given. Told to move downstairs where there were no tables. What is the point in being given a table reservation for a specific purpose, you following the instructions on where to sit, for then "the so called Sports bar" to do what the heck it wants. Appalling. I advise everyone to avoid at all costs. No respect for the booking process or the customer.

There are two McCooley's in Liverpool, one on Concert Square and this one in the Cavern Quarter, out of the two this one along Mathew Street is probably my favourite. A big pub set over multiple floors with multiple serving bars, pool tables, wonderful decor and furnishings, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Mathew Street, its just a wonderful pub to chill out in. We were here on a Tuesday afternoon, pub was busy with a great atmosphere, we were here during happy hour ,10am till 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am till 2pm Friday,we got a pint of beer each from Carling Brewery ( £2.60p a pint ) amazing value for money for a city centre pub,we grabbed a table were we chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our beers. My beer was excellent, a lovely lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this pub, it was just so good being in such a lovely bar enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world. We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to McCooley's we had a great time. McCooley's is easy to locate along Mathew Street, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants and a major tourist destination due to its Beatles connections. Opening hours are,; Monday to Thursday, 10am till 2am. Friday & Saturday, 8am till 4am. Sunday, 8am till 3am. Well worth checking out if you're in the Cavern Quarter of Liverpool.

We attended with our two kids this evening on the way back from a family daytrip. We ordered our food and unfortunately we witnessed two quite obvious 'none family friendly incidents' within 10 minutes of being at our table. We had no choice but to cancel our food and leave asap. The manager very kindly did not take payment for the drinks that we were served. However what we very blantently witnessed was enough to ensure that we will never dine at the Cosh again. We are to put it mildly absolutely disgusted and we are not sure which is worse - the possibility that staff were fully aware of the 'goings on' in the Cosh tonight or completely oblivious. Either way it was nowhere near good enough.

In overends cafe today for lunch at around 2.20. There was hardly any food in the display cabinet empty spaces and half filled bowls. Asked for quiche none available. Mushroom soup was available with one slice of bread for 9.50 euros !!!!! Very very disappointed Paid 42.30 for soups I sausage roll 2 biscuit bars tea and 2 coffees. Ridiculously expensive. Other people were complaining about 5 euros for a small plain muffin. Will not be returning.

I had hoped to have a sandwich at 2 20 pm on a Saturday afternoon. This was not possible. An unwelcoming staff member--a very young staff member--and apparently with limited experience--made it very clear the kitchen was closed. So only tea/ coffee--and basically sweet stuff available. This had to do. We sat at a table which was clean--as all the dirt from it had been cleaned off and was on the floor As we had our tea a staff member started sweeping--and moving chairs loudly --it was unclear customers were unwelcome--as we are closing This place appears to have gone downhill--and is run to suit staff not the customers !!

I attended The Rabbit restaurant for dinner with my partner and had an unpleasant experience with the front of house. On arrival, the front of house was very cold and unwelcoming, especially to myself. He asked for the reservation name abruptly and asked if we had any allergies. I advised them of my allergy. The front of house turned away and repeated my allergy a very judgemental and strange tone. I was taken aback as this felt judgmental and very strange as to why he was acting like this . He walked to our dinner table with little to no pleasantries, advised the soup of the day and repeated back my allergy, again with a rather judgemental tone. We were both taken aback by this and did not understand why the man had been unpleasant with me especially. On leaving the restaurant each waiter stood and greeted us on exiting, however the front of house simply stood at the bar and as we approached to turn and walk down the steps out of the restaurant, looked away and made no form of contact, clearly seeing us coming along and deciding to turn away. I have attended The Rabbit for numerous year and have generally had a good experience however this left me in rather bad taste and I am not impressed by that level of service from a place that fronts sophistication. I felt judged and the manner which this man served us with was cold and not what you’d expect of someone who is meant to be the front of house greeting your customers and showing them to your table. Very disappointed.
