The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Irish food

Coffee shop it is not . It is more like a greasy spoon cafe. Seems to exist mainly for all day brunches and not coffee and cake. Choice of cake in the ‘ coffee shop’ limited unlike in the bakery downstairs. Loos clean but tables were not . Staff friendly enough but lack of menu information letting them down. Some menu boards above serving area seem to be covered by bin bags . Vibes of a seventies cafe . Sad .

Busy cafe with decent selection of hot and cold meals or a wee bun! Fast service, not mad expensive. Have to say it is Sylvia that makes the experience enjoyable, she is very helpful, assisting customers to tables and carrying trays for them. Think I'd stop going if she left!

Great Food and staff , the steak and sea bass were exceptional with great presentation and trimmings all very tasty, would highly recommend

Nice cafe. Service was fast. Sandwiches tasted good. Prices are high at the cafe, but it's like that everywhere in Northern Ireland.

Best Ulster fry in Belfast. Great options offering anything you want for breakfast. Good quality and reasonably priced.

Over-priced Christmas menu with no other option available. If other menus not available update your website! Sorry but I don't want a Christmas menu on 24 November?! Decidedly average service - at times constantly asking questions but then staff disappear when needed. No atmosphere and very average food - overcooked dry burger. Won't be back.

We recently used The Barrows Bistro to hold a Birthday Party and I was extremely impressed. I wanted somewhere a bit different to the normal Hotel or pub scenario and I was not disappointed! The service was excellent and the food was very good indeed. The surroundings made the event feel very special and I found it reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this as a venue for those special occasions

Restaurant was quite busy for a weekday evening.Service was prompt and the food arrived quickly.The vegan menu is puzzling, if you order a tofu and curry dish you only get curry. This means the protein element of the meal is missed out on. On another occasion my partner received tofu and I didn't but we'd both ordered the same meal and both ordered from the vegan menu. My friends chicken stack dish on this occasion looked excellent and they were very happy with it . It took a very long time for anyone to ask if we required dessert.We said we did but no menu came.I went to the desk to ask for a menu but had to queue behind people who were paying their bills. Ordered dessert and it was fine although I recognise the almond and frangipane tart from eating in a few other places so assume it's bought in. Bills are paid at one central desk and there can be quite a delay.Those with mobility issues are going to struggle with this system. Could bills be given to people at the table for them to review in order to speed the process up. Charming restaurant which is let down by no visible supervision of the staff and more attention needs to be paid to the accuracy of the vegan menu as so many things can go wrong otherwise.Staff were always pleasant but seem to lack direction.

Very expensive. Poor service. Very poor quality of food. Won't be back. Could not recommend. Severely over rated. There are many better restaurants locally.

Best hamburger I had on my vacation. I am picky and asked for it well done. They cooked it perfectly. We came in late one night and wanted food to take to our room. They do not do takeaways, but managed to pack some food for me using the trays they use for leftovers. Very friendly staff!

I visited here today with my partner. We both ordered the fry. I was enjoying mine until I found a big hair cooked into my egg. This is shocking and the cooks should be wearing hair nets or hats when working to prevent this sort of thing. My partner enjoyed her food and the surroundings are nice and comfortable. I'm sorry to say I was disgusted and put off from any return to this establishment.

Absolutely outstanding meal - scallops to start followed by chateaubriand. Bramble was gorgeous too. We have visited countless times. stunning food every time. Lovely team as well!

Si te gusta sentarte en una mesa sin limpiar. O si te gusta tener que pedir un vaso para tu lata o una botella de bebida. O si te gusta no tener servilletas o quizás te guste la comida poco hecha, incluso cuando todo lo que pediste fueron sándwiches de tocino. Todo entregado por personal hosco. O sea que este es el lugar para ti.

Entró a tomar una pinta de Guinness y ver el Rugby, (Inglaterra v Italia) Salieron los equipos y sonaron los himnos nacionales, cuando el Himno Nacional Inglés se encendió el barman lo apagó y puso música irlandesa, cuando el himno terminó volvió a poner el sonido, falta de respeto total abiertamente mostrado por nuestro himno nacional en nuestro propio país, ! Le pregunté por qué y me dijo arrogantemente: “Irlanda no colonizó Inglaterra”. Feliz de tomar nuestro dinero, aunque en Inglaterra al mismo tiempo que demuestra hostilidad e intolerancia hacia el país Otras personas frente a nosotros también se fueron debido a esto. Horrendo pub.

Me quedé en la ciudad durante unas seis semanas. Me encantan los postres, también conocidos como "dulces". Nunca había visto una variedad así en este lugar y en muchos otros. También me gustó este lugar por su ubicación.
