Absolutely lovely place to visit. Restaurant staff were fantastic, and John on reception went above and beyond. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant location, fantastic views. Glamping pods were warm, comfortable and spotless. Main building/ Bar/Restaurant was excellent. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast both mornings. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back. Apparently more cabins are being added so more choice of accommodation.

The wife and I are having our first stay here for our 10th Wedding Anniverary, very rarely ever met nicer house staff and been treated so well. Hot Tub experience was first class and the sunset was beautiful from the Glamping Pod which was positioned perfectly to look over Lough Neagh. Both John and Wayne who who looked after us were absolute gentlemen and couldn't have done more for us, as well as the waiting staff at dinner the service was top class. Honestly couldn't fault a single thing about this place. Booked in for my birthday in 6 weeks time - Belfasts Hidden Gem!!!

Het enige positieve is de vriendelijke receptioniste. Maar wat een vreselijke camperplaats! Oud, vies en slecht onderhouden. En daar durven ze 35 euro per nacht voor te vragen. Schandalig.

We're tourists from England on our first visit to Northern Ireland. This place was recommended to us. Very nice experience in the restaurant. Food was of an amazing quality and plentiful! My roast beef was melt in the mouth. My wife had the Red Thai curry and commented on it being the nicest one she has had. Staff were really accommodating too. Others in our group had the turkey and ham roast and also said how good it was. Would recommend too!

Standing Stones Lodge scam artists....take £100 to make sure the hottub is in "order" after your finished...water is always never gonna be the same after 2 peoples skin is in it for 2 hours...not to mention anyone that has dry skin. Took £100 deposit off me for having dry skin. I'm appalled and embarrassed but think people need to know. Never in my life have I experienced such terrible hospitality.

This is a hidden gem in the hills of Belfast the food is lovely much better than what you will get in Belfast and costs a lot less. Staff are nice and are on the ball building is nice and warm to. We eat out a lot and definitely will be going back 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ John & Carol

We stayed here with a large family group.after attending a Santa experience nearby. We had booked a table & we pre ordered our meals a day previously. Receptionist was very friendly on check in. Some rooms were disappointing. Sticky floors, dirty travel cot & one of the bunk bed mattresses was ridiculously uncomfortable with springs almost visible! We arrived at 8pm for food as agreed. The first meals at our table were served at 8.45pm and the last were served at 9.30pm! The first people had long finished by the time the last were even getting served. Food was ok. The last meals that came out didn't get their chips until they were finished their steak. Tracey, who seemed to be managing the dining room was very confrontational and we received no apologies for the delay in our food. Sorry would have went a long way! In fact when the last person served asked for their chips which hadn't arrived, she said crossly " they must have came out earlier" We all cancelled our breakfast for the following morning and went elsewhere. Very bad attitude and manner to run an establishment. No apologies for hour & a half wait for food. Rooms mediocre. We will not be back.

Foi me comentado que este hotel era bastante bom e agradável.Primeira coisa que eu fiz foi pesquisar aqui sobre opiniões de outras pessoas, estas eram bastante desanimadoras mas mesmo assim fiz a reserva para 4 noites. Passando para a review em si. Chegando ao local deparamo-nos com um estabelecimento principal bonito e arranjado e o exterior também bonito e envolvente,ao fazer o check-in notamos que os empregados eram bastante simpáticos e atenciosos. Foi nos dada a chave para o nosso quarto que nós achavamos ser no estabelecimento principal mas este era num correr de mini casinhas afastado, com o frio que sempre está na Irlanda eu achei absurdo isso mas deixei passar. Entrando no quarto fixamos logo o olhar nas rachas e descascamento de tinta nas paredes e também na sujidade que o quarto apresentava. A porta de entrada do quarto não fechava mas arranjamos maneira de a conseguir manter fechada. Fomos tentar tomar um banho e não existia água quente por mais maroscas que nós fizéssemos. Abrimos a cama para nos deitarmos e os lençóis estavam cheios de cabelos e manchas, com isto foi a gota de água, fomos logo reclamar que fossem limpar o quarto e que fossem também arranjar a tranca da porta. Foi nos atribuido um novo quarto pois disseram que não tinham senhora de limpezas até sexta feira, o próximo quarto estava mais arranjadinho mas também apresentava sujidade. Dia seguinte queriamos tomar o pequeno-almoço o que nos foi dito que teriamos que pagar 14 euros por pessoa cada dia,recusamos esse tipo de roubo e fomos comprar nós próprios comida para toda a estadia e esta compra nem chegou aos 28 euros que seria o valor a pagar pelo pequeno-almoço para duas pessoas cada dia. Este alojamento apresentou-se um valente desastre,dou 2 classificações pois gostei do ambiente envolvente e da simpatia dos empregados se não daria 1 classificação. Aconcelho procurarem algo melhor.

Beautiful relaxing place, peaceful, definitely a retreat! Staff are amaZingly friendly, accomodating and kind. Rooms, shower and bed just so comfortable and top class. I had an evening meal the cottage pie is to die for and the cheese cake melted in my mouth. Great value for money. What a lovely place. Highly reccomend

Stayed over in a lodge . Quiet and relaxing stay. Our room was spotless. . Friendly staff. Nice warm tasty food and great Cocktails, service was great. Not often we get the opportunity to return home for a visit but thankfully we found this little gem! Just right outside the town but still so close to the city! A fabulously priced, impeccably clean room with tea and coffee facilities in a beautifully clean space. Excellent menu, amazing staff with special mention to Andrew, Claire and Marissa who went above and beyond in their customer care. Just a few mins from the city and we'll worth a visit. Thanks everyone. Can't wait to return. Highly recommend

What a fabulous place, stunning location in an extremely peaceful setting. Privately owned establishment and the owner is very accommodating and easy to deal with. His front John it’s super efficient, both on the phone and in person, there’s nothing that’s too much. John made any ‘little issue’ that may have entered my head disappear in a flash!!

We were here to stay overnight and didn't intend to use the restaurant so can't comment on that. In fact I don't think the restaurant was open the night we stayed so it might be as well to check in advance if you need an evening meal, otherwise it will mean a drive to somewhere else. Initial impressions not so good. Location is excellent as long as you have a car in good weather but it would be a bit bleak for much of the year I would imagine. The "welcome" at reception left a great deal to be desired. Yes, we were early, but there are better ways of dealing with that than ticking the customers off from your high horse and telling them to get lost until check-in time. The lady at reception rather ill-advisedly told us where we would be "when our cabin became available" so we went and checked and it was cleaned and ready. Then when we had checked in we were confronted with a list of do's and don'ts, considerably more of the latter than of the former. Do people who stay there really go to breakfast in their pyjamas and who cares if they do? It all gave the impression that the management either have experience of guests who trash the place or are expecting guests to do so by default. And who wants to stay somewhere like that? Our cabin was small and basic, as we had expected, but comfortable enough and it had a spectacular view out over Lough Neagh. We slept very well. They claim wifi internet is available to guests but it isn't, except in the lobby area.

This unique hidden gem looking over beautiful countryside and mountains. One amazing sunset! Friendly staff , great price for food and drinks! Clean cosy room. Hot tub was so relaxing! Thank you staff at standing Stones Lodge.

Food is beautiful would highly recommend it as a place to eat staff so friendly and welcoming people, also stayed at the hotel they met all my needs as the room we had was a wet room.

I left a poor review for a disappointing experience in 2019. Was back this July and was really impressed lovely lunch and very attentive staff, we were so eased we returned with American visitors in August. Another lovely experience, the food was lovely and the staff so friendly. I am so glad we gave this another go, we will be back !!

Honestly can’t say enough about this hidden gem! Kids loved and we did. Staff are unreal - right from booking on the phone Molly was just so nice , friendly and genuine and exceptional at her job! Again in the restaurant food was excellent- nice atmosphere too and two lovely lads serving . Great menu and kids one too . Room was very good And excellent family room for 5- Netflix etc on the telly such a bonus. Highly recommend this place for all - playground etc on site too ( weather was just bad) , girlie trips to use the fabulous pods and to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city! Fabulous walkways around will definitely check out next time - It’s down the road from Belfast! Can’t wait to return. Thank you !

Went here for a night's stay. I was a bit concerned that due to the recent weather would the hot tub be covered so I could enjoy it if it was raining so I contacted the owner who confirmed it was (9/10). Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner who emanated glorious scents including lavender , tea tree and vanilla and was full of the matured patter of a well seasoned, all rounded cabaret entertainer. (10/10). He took us to the receptionist where he engulfed her in a barrage of charm, whit and whole heated kindness . They had a very loose rule on paying a deposit which we insisted upon doing. I mean I almost threatened them in doing so. He took my wife off to show her how to use the hot tub and within minutes my wife was able to disassemble it with indepth knowledge of circuitry, wattage and craftsmanship. She has now registered a new hot tub servicing company "Glynn Hot Tubs Pimping". (10/10). The hot tub was strictly use of our lodge only which meant ony us were able to use it. It was so private we couldn't find it untill the high end cologne sporting owner showed us. I needn't have been concerned about the weather, this tub was hurricane proof I would even go as far as saying bomb proof. It was so secluded we could have been nudists and nobody would have known. We spent the entire time in the tub such was the unlimited usage. (11/10). I had an entire 3 course meal with champagne in the tub which is greatly encouraged by the owner. I don't like the water too cold and my wife doesn't like it too warm but the temperature seemed to change to our individual liking wherever we seemed to sit. We had such a great time we let them keep the deposit. Overall a solid 16/10.

Great views over the north of Ireland, hearty Irish food and excellent continental fare, reasonably priced.. Very friendly staff, especially the Maître D and our waiter Keith. We will return soon.

Having eaten here 4 years ago and given it a great review, we were very disappointed. We waited almost an hour for our meal. When they arrived my husband's was not as stated on the menu ie no vegetables, chips instead of mash. My lasagne was not very warm the meals were only ok. We didn't stay for desserts and we are unlikely to go again.

Standing Stone Lodge is a great place to stay in a beautiful countryside. The staff have been so accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast this morning was amazing, cooked perfectly. I arrived yesterday and seen there was glamming pods as well as the lodges we booked, and my wife mentioned it would be nice if they had hot rubs… well at that Daniel said if you want a hot tub I can sort you one out! How great is that? I would fully recommend the SST as a stay destination

Have stayed here a few times over the years and we absolutely love it. The views r breath taking. We have always had a gr8 experience here and the staff have always very kind and friendly. The rooms are Clean and comfortable and the food is excellent. All round a gr8 place for a quiet night away
