We loved the decor and atmosphere of this restaurant as soon as we walked in. Tables were widely spaced and layouts were arranged differently to meet the needs of groups or couples. It was lovely being able to watch the chef and his staff at work. Staff in the restaurant were lovely and chatty making customers feel at home. We opted for the tasting menu but portions were more akin to a la carte size! Be warned the ‘snacks’ alone equate to a main course especially if you eat all the lovely bread! Our favourite course was the monkfish, closely followed by the raviolo and dessert. Venison was well cooked but a bit full of gristle as it was haunch. Everything was beautifully presented. As I was driving I enjoyed a great mock tail with 0% gin and Armagh Apple. Definitely will return to try the a la carte menu.

Food was amazing, restaurant was very nice but the night was made by the staff. Lady (who I believe was the manager) was great, couldn’t have done enough for us and took real pride and pleasure in her work. Portion sizes of the food was very good only had one small problem that was fixed almost instantly. Can’t recommend enough and I cannot wait to go back.

Visited today for a family birthday. It is the first time I have been in a while and the first time for Sunday lunch.... I am pleased to report it was one of the best meals I have had in a while, the food was excellent, the highlight was a fab roast sirloin and Yorkshire pudding main. Starter and dessert really excellent also. Service and atmosphere really good too. Well done to Chris, Davina and the staff and keep up the great work.

First trip with Wine & Brine and it is a worthwhile trip if you are in the area. I had breads to share - sourdough along side a cheese and onion brioche bun. This was followed by crispy ox cheek. This was packed full of flavour and well executed however not sure there is the need for the chimichurri. For mains I had monkfish which was beautifully cooked. Hispi cabbage is highly recommended as a side. To finish I decided upon the treacle tart and smoked whiskey cream and this did not disappoint, arguably the best dish of all. Food was good, presentation of the food was 5 star, real artistry from the kitchen. Service was great. Only slight negative is I thought the atmosphere lacked a bit of ambiance. Decor and lighting could be improved. Overall a delightful find in Moira.

Had high hopes for this restaurant but left feeling quite let down by the food. Had heard a lot about the pig head donuts which were sold out along with the turbot which was disappointing . Prawn ravioli starter was good however main course of pigeon was slightly overcooked and not pink hence it being tough. The service was good generally however I had ordered a pilsner and was brought an IPA, I questioned this and was brought back the same beer and told I was wrong. Disappointing experience.

One of the best restaurants in Northern Ireland. Nice elegant space without being pretentious. Welcoming, professional and unobtrusive service. Very good and interesting menu. Price point adequate to what is served.

My partner booked us a table online for the same day for Sunday Lunch for around 3pm as a treat. The restaurant is so beautiful to sit in, and had a great atmosphere. The service was excellent. We were greeted and offered water for the table within minutes of being seated. All drinks were served in great time. The servers were happy to provide suggestions when we couldn’t decide between dishes! We were highly impressed with the menu and the quality of the food. The Roast Beef is incredible. I also recommend the Duck Pappardelle for starter. We will certainly be back.

Wine and Brine in Craigavon offers a decent dining experience. The ambiance is pleasant, though a bit too quiet for my taste. The wine selection is good, but the food was just average. Some dishes lacked flavor and creativity. Service was friendly but slow, which was disappointing. Prices were a bit high considering the overall experience. It’s not a place I’d rush back to, but it’s okay for a casual night out.

Fortunate to get a Saturday evening booking at fairly short notice; the whole experience was top notch . The pigs head doughnut is such an unusual dish and it was devoured very quickly . Having had it before , I asked for a small side plate to eat the doughnuts from as eating them from the bowl of pebbles can be tricky with some of the smoked eel and caviar garnish likely to fall down between the pebbles . That was about the only slight negativity with all the dishes being pretty much perfection . The wine list was sensibly priced. Probably the highlight was the deconstructed Jaffa cake ; one of the best desserts I’ve eaten

From a culinary perspective it was just okay. However, and I have to be clear; the price point got it over the line in terms of value for money. We could see what was trying to be achieved, but it was a classic case of style over substance & flavour. The overall experience felt a bit cold in all aspects. The staff were fine, but not great. So disappointing! Will not be rushing back. Food is so bland, any home cook could do better. Kilkeel crab starter did not taste of crab and mackerel was just cardboard bland! Mains- chicken very non descriptive and sides still trying to work out what they were??? Monkfish however tasty, but minus the curry sauce it tasted soapy. I tried to steel myself for a dessert, but my husband decided to try the ginger dessert. A mistake- bland and boring. I am sincerely disappointed to say, this restaurant is extremely poor and non reflective of the fabulous N Ireland cuisine. Honestly, I was so disappointed. Why pay these prices, when so much more on our doorstep in Belfast??

Great menu choice, and superb people and personalities serving. A few issues along the way though, white wine 2nd bottle not put in a cooler, had to ask twice before it got chilled, the portions of veg for 4 looked the same size as if for 2 people ? The overall speed of service was exceptionally slow, we sat down at approx. 14.35 without a break, we finished eating at 17.20, so almost 3 hours for 3 courses, with wine. Will think twice before returning, especially at this price point and expectation. As I said at the beginning, it's the great people that make this place.

I organised a table of 8 for a birthday gathering. I had to send in our order one week in advance, not a great practice for a non Christmas party but the communication was fine and friendly and I ensured all guests choices were told to the restaurant. Upon arrival we were greeted well and shown to our table. Drink orders were taken and served quickly. Starters arrived and service was great. Soon after mains arrived and all looked great. One of our guests ordered steak from the a la carte menu and I informed the restaurant one week in advance it was to be cooked well done. It came medium, it was sent back and returned medium, it was sent back and a new steak arrived cooked medium!! The chef seemed to refuse the customers wishes to have the steak cooked as she wanted it. The guest decided she had no appetite any longer. The waitress was not apologetic on behalf of the restaurant but offered the guest alternative choices however the guest just was finished with the uncomfortable scenario. Dinner continued and finished. The bill was asked for and upon checking the bill the steak was charged for. I politely asked for it to be removed and it was. Still no apology to the guest who didn’t eat. A £45 automatic service charge was added also as a standard restaurant practice. The service was good but I would like to choose how much I tip. Overall a nice restaurant with good food and nice staff but not as good as our previous experience there and I definitely expected more based on the prices charged. I had been looking forward to trying this place for sometime as I'd heard great things about it and of course because it has a Michelin star. The menu looked interesting and I read it online before I went. Once arrived, I realised it wasn't exactly the same but that isn't unusual in restaurants because of sourcing ingredients. My starter was a stuffed courgette flower containing crab, scattered with fresh shrimp with a lobster bisque and edible flowers on top. It certainly looked the part. The taste was something else entirely. The filling inside was definitely missing something to make it memorable. Very bland. I enjoyed the bisque but the shrimp were not good at all. They gave a sort of bitter taste to the whole dish. For mains I ordered monkfish with a tandori sauce and cucumber raita on top. And the flowers once again. Presentation was good. The fish was cooked really nicely. My problem was with the over seasoning of it all. I've never been served a dish as salty as that anywhere ever. And I've eaten salt baked cod before in Turkey. I tried my best to eat it, not wanting to make a fuss since they seemed busy. On reflection, I should have just said something. At the end I was asked how everything was since I'd eaten less than half. I explained. The waitress was polite and said I could have had the meal recooked if I'd said at the start. She went to speak to the chef and management and the dish was removed from the bill. All in all a mixed bag. Good customer service, nice building, nice wine but sadly the food disappointed - and on my birthday too. I will be back though, trying something different this time and if anything is amiss I will remember that they encourage you to speak up.

Staff looked very unhappy, didn’t finish my food and didn’t bother orders mr a desert, if you knew me you’d know it would have to be bad for that. Won’t bother going back. Fancy looking and sounding food with terrible flavours. Really should be one star.

One of the must places to have a special night. Would put Dean's restaurant in Belfast a good run for it's money

Yet another fantastic meal at Wine & Brine. The staff were wonderful, food was delicious & the atmosphere was very welcoming. Looking forward to our next visit.

Enjoyed using this restaurant in the past however when making a booking for a special birthday for my father-in-law my wife made a call to Wine and Brine and was told that it would be only a tasting menu and it would be £65 per head. She was told that she wouldn't be allowed to bring a birthday cake either. The woman who took the call was abrasive and arrogant and my wife felt that she was discouraging her from actually making a booking. Having consulted with the rest of the party we did not continue on with the booking. My wife rang again to cancel and whilst explaining about how she was made to feel during the call the same abrasive woman hung up. What a shame that the arrogant and condescending attitude of one person has spoilt years of enjoyment. Please remember Wine and Brine, that it is us little people who are spending our hard earned cash on keeping businesses like yours going through these last 2 difficult years. So please learn to accept constructive criticism and don't lose the run of yourselves.

Delicious. We had warm Kilkeel crab tart, game sausage with truffle mash followed by Monkfish Kiev and loin of venison with a venison pie. Absolutely fab. The side for the Kiev was a shellfish bearnaise also fantastic.

Sunday lunch, such a treat. Exceptional food, 1st class service. A great experience. A total dining experience. Really worthy of 6 stars if it could be awarded. Can't wait to return.

I visited the restaurant for an evening meal and found it very enjoyable. I was delighted that having a GF meal was not a problem.

I had the pleasure of dining at Origin 101 for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration. The ambience was absolutely charming, the food superb, the waitstaff very professional and Kelsey, the proprietor very welcome and accommodating. If only I lived in Moira, I would return often. As it was, I asked her to consider opening a second location in Connecticut. One can only hope.

Over-priced Christmas menu with no other option available. If other menus not available update your website! Sorry but I don't want a Christmas menu on 24 November?! Decidedly average service - at times constantly asking questions but then staff disappear when needed. No atmosphere and very average food - overcooked dry burger. Won't be back.
