Carleton Restaurant in Dungannon

We had a family lunch here to celebrate a christening and were very pleased with the standard of service and the quality of the food. The extra details such as a personalised menu and gift for the baby were unexpected but much appreciated and helped make the occasion special. Many Thanks to all responsible for such an enjoyable afternoon.

We had a voucher for this restaurant which had to be used so off we went hoping it was better than before, this is our third visit. Sadly the restaurant was cold, menus was very minimal, 6 or 8 items to choose from. I chose Fish and chips thinking I couldn't go far wrong but was really disappointed with the fish, batter wasn't crisp, mushy peas were dry and tired although the chips were good. Having some extra funds on our voucher we decided to have a desert at £7 each, my pavlova took about 40 minutes to arrive and measured about 2 inches by 3 inches in the middle of a 14 inch plate was also very tired (hardly surprising given the speed of delivery) staff agreed to reduce the cost because of the delay. My wife had a "crunchie cheesecake" which had a few flakes of chocolate and absolutely no identifiable crunchie bar. It saddens me to see a local restaurant perform so poorly, the property is nice and the setting lovely but if you are going to charge £25 per person for two courses al least make it decent not tired and looking like leftovers.

Had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant and it was beautiful. High quality, well presented food. Great choice on the menu and excellent good value pricing. Drinks menu had lots of options and cocktails were divine. Staff were attentive, friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel at ease. The ambience was perfect and decor stylish and spacious.

In for a snack simply ordered soup and a panini, It was tasty when it arrived, about 8 in the restaurant area however it took some time for the food to arrive. Order was correct. Food not over hot the cheese had not even melted.

We had an excellent meal here on Saturday evening. The service was amazing, A lovely waiter who was very attentive and also very funny, sorry I didn’t get his name, (he had a moustache) however I want to thank him for making our experience really enjoyable. The food was delicious, we had four courses included with our overnight stay. We had pate that was lovely and smooth, fresh soft breads with oils, roasted cod and steak with prawns, served hot and so fresh. Bread & butter pudding and cheesecake for desert, all finished with coffee. Each course was very well presented and absolutely delicious, we were so well fed. Social distancing was followed well and didn’t impact on the dinning experience. We would have no hesitation in recommending to others.

Corick House is in a beautiful peaceful location and is full of old style elegance and charm. We stopped for a family lunch while returning home from Fermanagh. The menu was excellent and the staff happy to accommodate tweaks to dishes to please our children. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the bright atmosphere in the dining room. All of the staff were friendly and efficient and we look forward to our next opportunity to visit.

You could literally spend the whole day within the hotel and got main meals and snacks from the Carleton. Meals and snacks all excellent.

Room was lovely, very attentive staff but the steak ciabatta consisted of a soft soup role and three slithers of a smoked steak. Missing caramelised onion. Pepper sauce cost extra. Very disappointed.

A la carte four course evening meal supplements payable for some choices ie steak. Our meal was beautiful and could not be faulted our waiter Simon was very polite well informed and very happy to please thank you for such a wonderful evening.

Really disappointed with our meal here. The menu was underwhelming and the food matched. The staff however were fantastic - if the food was as good as the staff this place would be amazing.

Went to Corick House for Sunday lunch. This was our first visit and I have to say we were very impressed. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff very welcoming. Two had the pork belly starter and throughly enjoyed it. For mains two had Turkey & ham and two had roast beef. We all enjoyed our meals. I had the roast beef and it was the best I have had anywhere. The beef was so tender you could have cut it with a spoon. Only one had dessert as we were pretty full but the chocolate fudge cake was declared a success. Would definitely recommend and we’ll definitely return.

Christmas lunch booked. Drove for an hour to get there only to be told workers had broken the gas line so no lunches could be served. Despite having my number they did not inform us and we drove there. Manager was informed but obviously was not bothered about us and did not come out to apologise for the waisted journey. Not their fault maybe but handled terribly by management. Totally disappointed and disgusted.

You just have to try the Pressed Confit of Duck - simply delicious, then followed by a Rump of Lamb - gorgeous then a lovely wobbly Pannacotta. Enough said but thanks for making it special Damien 👌

Firstly I'd like to point out that I did not stay overnight here, so I cannot advise what rooms are like. I attended a family wedding over Christmas period and was so disappointed with the service at our table during the meal. The problem was that 3 of us had Coliac disease so no gluten in our meals is a must! The bread rolls came out and I asked if they were gluten free as one was placed on my plate, they weren't, so it was promptly removed and and replaced. The soup was then bought to the table and the lady serving me advised that my soup would be out shortly as gluten in the soup everyone else had. I then noticed that the soup with gluten in was set infront of my niece, whom not only had gluten intolerance but also she has Autism. I said to the girl serving her that there was gluten in that soup and that my niece couldn't eat it. The girl argued that there was no gluten in it and asked another 2 servers nearby and they also argued that there was no gluten in it. So I asked to explain if that were the case, why was a different soap being served up to me! The lady serving me came out with my soup and I queried once again if gluten in other soup everyone else had. She said defiantly yes, and then quickly removed the soup from my niece and got her the correct soup. The main dinner was next, so my non gluten meal came out, minus the potatoes and veg as these were being served separate, and by the time they served our table with these, the rest of my meal was cold!!! I lost heart and didn't even attempt dessert. However my niece did go for dessert, she was served pavlova which would have been fine if she wasn't lactose intolerant as well as gluten! So her dessert had to be removed and replaced. What a disaster if you have food intolerances!! How distressing this all was for my niece to cope with. To be honest I just turned down a wedding invitation for this year as in Corick House

Fantastic food, even better service at very reasonable price. They treat you like a royalty. The food is delicious and the staff very attentive.

Fab personal service and a beautiful meal. The goats cheese amuse bouche was gorgeous and the duck was perfect.

I'm a local & have been coming here for years. Their recent improvements are unbelievable. Service, food, ambiance, desserts was all 5star. They really spent their money well

Para el almuerzo, llamado recibidos por de una multitud de personal (en su mayoría limitado manejo del inglés). Esperamos durante 10 minutos para pedir menú, finalmente fue tomada, bebidas llegamos bastante rápidamente. Después de 45 minutos preguntó si llevar iba a ser mucho más, error recomienda se haya realizado, se disculpó. Después de una hora y diez minutos la comida llegó. Fue excelente, no me podía quejar. Pedido factura, noté que todas las bebidas no estaban en la factura. Pensé diciendo nada pero el personal recomienda miembro de omisión, que no podía añadir las bebidas. Otro miembro del personal añadido bebidas en nombre de último miembro personal no local que se disculpó por retraso. Pero esta no es la manera de ejecutar una línea aérea.

El personal es muy bueno en la comida estupenda pelota y el spa es bueno también ha sido para la cena y después del mediodía, té excelentes

Teníamos planeado ir a una comida familiar y encantador pero estuvimos más que decepcionado. en el servicio que recibimos. Habíamos reservado una mesa y esperó más de una hora para ser servida, tuvimos que solicitar menús cuando llegamos. Esperamos un período de tiempo para llegar lengthly nuestra entrada y hacía frío a su llegada. Las edades además esperando el plato principal, las raciones eran muy pequeñas y la comida una vez más no estaba bien caliente. Para un hotel de este estándar y el precio que pagamos era completamente indignado y no volveremos.

He estado en un par de veces, empeorado por el servicio. Debe de haber ido en todo el tiempo se servía una boda a juzgar por la limusina en la puerta.

Mejor comida en años bife medio raro a la perfección y delicioso mmm fondant de chocolate. Sin duda lo recomendaría y £30 de crédito hacia la cena, así que sólo necesitaba comprar nuestras bebidas

Muy bonito restaurante y excelente personal atento! Especialmente Mimi y el pelo marrón nuevo comienzo camarera! Mi hija y yo nos trataron como la realeza todo el tiempo que estuvimos allí, así como que todo el restaurante mimi dieron a cantar a mi hija como ella se presentó con un postre de cortesía que fue sorprendido y agradecido. La comida era excelente y los campos bien a tiempo.

Only had breakfast in the Carleton but it was one of the best buffet breakfasts I've ever had!! Absolutely delicious and a full range of every type of breakfast you would like. We were immediately greeted upon entering the restaurant and shown to our table and offered tea or coffee and the moment we were finished with any plates or bowls they were whisked away by the very friendly staff.

Staff were very pleasant, we had to move to a warmer area as the doors were all open near where we sat at first. Good menu choice. Food was lovely and a really enjoyable meal. Pleasent experience.

limited menu .a little bit hard to understand what the actual food is .we ordered grilled steak and champ with side order of chips .was excellent couldnt fault any of the food .

Enjoyed a lovely lunch while traveling the Omagh countryside. The soup was excellent; very hearty and nice bread and lovely Irish butter. Beautiful surroundings and garden to view while eating the meal. Very nice.

Had a meal in here on sat & it's was just beautiful. I had mushroom soup & fish for main, my husband had scallops & deer for his main. Could not fault it. Excellent service & very friendly atmosphere!!

Menu has lots of choice, but sadly the delicious descriptions didnt match what was served up to us. The servers were very young and pretty unhelpful and impolite, wasnt expecting this for "fine dining". We ate out for the remainder of our stay in the nearby towns.

We had booked a table and had had a drink near the rather crowded bar, but were instructed on arrival to return to the bar and place our orders there. We dug in our heels and after some quite silly argument were eventually given our table. The food was decent but the restaurant - prize-winning, they say - lacks character or anything, as far as I could see, to explain the link to Carleton. More work is needed here.

couldn't be happier.. this restaurant is exquisite from the look/decor and gardens to the food and service. i've been here a few times over years and will be back again.. defo recommended!

Having booked a family party here for 45 people we expected what you would normally expect from a hotel - great service, great food and a lovely evening. We got none of these! Having called the hotel 3 times in the week prior to our party to confirm numbers and menu choices, they still managed to get it wrong. To 'forget' about 11 main courses was ridiculous and then 20 minutes later when they did come out (after the rest of the party had finished their meals) that the steaks were cooked wrongly and were of poor quality, was not impressive at all. Spent 40 minutes with the reception staff and then the owner before eventually they agreed to take money off the final bill. They initialy had tried to fob us off with a couple of cheap bottles of fizzy wine. The owner actually had the cheek to ask me how this could have happened. This ruined what was an excellent family day out. The infuriating part of it was that they were so insistent on knowing almost five days in advance what the pre-order for our meal was - and how exactly we wanted our steaks cooked. Only to get it wrong. Suffice to say, I (and my family) will not be back at Corick House again.
