Quays Bistro & Grill in Derry

Si te gusta sentarte en una mesa sin limpiar. O si te gusta tener que pedir un vaso para tu lata o una botella de bebida. O si te gusta no tener servilletas o quizás te guste la comida poco hecha, incluso cuando todo lo que pediste fueron sándwiches de tocino. Todo entregado por personal hosco. O sea que este es el lugar para ti.

Mi marido y yo disfrutamos de una deliciosa comida en Quays! El servicio fue excelente y todo el mundo fue muy atento. La comida estaba muy bien preparada, la presentación era muy buena y todo estaba delicioso. El único problema que tuvimos fue cuando estábamos tratando de pagar, era muy caótico en el área de registro y tuvimos que esperar para que nos ayudaran.

Lugar pequeño pero muy acogedor. La comida no era cara y el servicio era bueno. Gran selección en el menú.

Hemos estado viniendo aquí por un tiempo, generalmente para tomar té y tostadas o un refrigerio ligero, el personal es muy amable, así que seguimos regresando y pruébalo tú mismo.

I stumbled upon this place from asking my friends on facebook that simple question, where is the best place to get chips cheese and taco sauce? a good friend of mine referred me to Quays bistro upon i found myself ordering the chips cheese and taco sauce. Now where as the dish may not sound very special, i was first introduced to it when i lived in Derry over 5 years ago since then most of the venues of which that served it are now gone, so i had the craving on my recent visit, the taco sauce is hard to explain however where i live in England now i can't find anything to replicate it. the chips were perfect quality wise, not too greasy or over cooked, they were light and fluffy with just the right amount of crispiness, there wasn't an overkill of taco sauce so i didn't have to worry about heartburn tablets and there was just the right amount of cheese on them, this experience was so good that i had to have this dish before travelling to the airport to travel home.

Mi reco molto spesso in questo locale per pranzare e sono sempre rimasto soddisfatto! Ottima la qualità dei prodotti, molto vari e gustosi! Fantastici anche i cappuccini e i Milkshake! Un fast food a 5 stelle! Personale molto gentile e sempre disponibile. Consigliatissimo

On our first morning in Derry, my mother and I went for a walk in search of a laundromat. This search was unsuccessful, however we instead found this small café. We stopped and had a lovely breakfast of toast and coffee while waiting for other shops to open. Andy and Ann Marie provided excellent service with a smile.

They opened early for us and served a well cooked breakfast with helpful service. It's clean, great value and an excellent alternative to paying for an inferior breakfast if you're staying at a hotel nearby.

This is the first time we have been here even though we pass by at least four times per week. We like this type of cafe even though it is very modern it still retains a personal feel about it, we will be back

Wir haben hier zu Mittag gegessen, da hier ein Lunch-Menü zum Special Preis von 7,95 angeboten wird. Dieses enthält ein Gericht + Beilage nach Wahl. Mein Freund bestellte sich den Chicken Wrap und Garlic Fries und ich mir den Burger Regular mit normalen Fries. Die Cola dazu kostete extra. Als dann nach einiger Wartezeit das Essen serviert wurde waren die Portionen in Ordnung. Allerdings war der Burger staubtrocken und enthielt weder Soße noch irgendwelche besonderen Zugaben. Der Wrap war geschmacklich in Ordnung. Für den Preis kann man definitiv besser Essen gehen..

I came here entirely because of the reviews on this page - there were only 4, all giving 5/5 ratings. Which made me angry - the food (we had two different dishes) was not worth the average cafe prices. "Meat from award winning butchers". Yeah right! Christmas Dinner: Turkey and ham both like leather, tasteless stuffing, cold vegetables and very poor cranberry sauce. £5.99? Not worth 4 shills.

Started eating in Quays about six months ago and have pretty much been through the entire menu because I love eating there so much.Their quality of the food is excellent and it's unbelievable value for money. The manager was telling me they get all their meat from the local butcher's, and you can really tell. The chicken fillet burger is a personal favourite of mine, but from the various gourmet burgers right through to the lasagne, stew and breakfast fry, you know from the first bite that it's really good quality. And the chips are amazing! It's really hard to get nice chips in cafes for some reason, but theirs are really crispy and nice and fluffy on the inside. The staff are lovely as well. I sat one day and watched them take time out from what they were doing to say 'see you later' to every single person that left. They knew loads of customers by name as well. Good service is really important, and it's something you don't always get in Derry. People don't just eat somewhere because the food's good, but because they get to feel a wee bit pampered and because there's a nice, welcoming atmosphere. In these tough times, you don't always want to be going somewhere for a hot meal that will cost you an arm and a leg - but sometimes you want something a bit more hearty than a sandwich or a wrap. Quays fits the bill perfectly in this respect - I'm so glad I discovered it!

My wife, son and I stopped here for something to eat late in the afternoon. the food was brilliant. I had the crunch burger, my wife had the Mexican beef and our son had chicken tenders and chips. it was great value for money and we would recommend it to anyone. it is family friendly.

Eat here at least twice a week, food is great value and loads of it!!! Highly recommend the crunch burger which is the best burger I've had in a long time!!! Milkshakes are amazing too especially the strawberry and vanilla! I've been recommending to all my friends. Def the place to go for a fry as well, 4.95 and it has everything on it!! Can't be beaten on value and taste!!!
