The best restaurants serving Indian food in Newport South Wales

Ordered food starters and main course waiter came back to check order as he had lost part of it on tablet. Starters came fairly quickly but main course came 45 minutes later and only part of order was correct asked for lamb but got chicken instead, my friends don't eat chicken there was things we didn't ask for. Lamb tikka masala we ordered was extremely tough and rubbery to eat. Very disappointed as previous visit was excellent.

Expected high standards. Was in for a shock as I did not feel that the staff were attentive to even cared to ask us how our food was. I mean it’s good they didn’t because it was terrible.

Reasonably priced food and great menu variety. Quick service. Food very tasty and fresh. My favourite Indian in Newport.

We ordered online and were give a delivery time of 55 minutes later. We phoned 3 times and kept being told it was out for delivery. The food finally arrived 2 and a half hours later. On the final phone call we requested a refund but were told this had to be done online. I cannot see where this is possible via the online system but am not happy to have paid nearly £40 for a meal that arrived at bedtime

Can't through ordered food from website no food no refund shop is shut. Tried ringing constantly engaged have emailed and messaged via Facebook no response

First time ordering. Delivery was fast, food was delicious & hot, and it was affordable.

I was passing by one evening and thought it’d be worth a try. To my surprise, two different items in the order were in an identical sauce (despite one of these items being from the ‘specials’ menu) foul & inedible are the first words that come to mind. Please, please avoid this place at all costs…god knows how this place is still in business.

Ordered take away through just eat, quoted 30-45 minute wait, food arrives after 1 hour. Missing one of the main curry dishes (of 4 ordered). Called several times, they don't pick up their phone as switched to answer phone. Always a bad sign if you ask me. Messaged on Facebook - left several messages but no call back. Avoid as food is okay but portion sizes small considering the prices they charge. Won't be using again & if you have any sense, you'd avoid them too!

First time ordering from here as we've recently moved to the area. Best Indian I have ever had. Egg rice was full of flavour, chicken nice and tender and soft, fluffy nan bread. Restaurant itself is absolutely spotless. Many thanks. We will be back.

OK have not been here for a very long time so decided to give it another try. Spoke to sal about menu as I do not like fresh corriander on top of my meal ! Sorted. So ordered a chicken pathia was quite tasty chicken was lovely 😍, also thought let's try something totally different eggs india it sounded lush special meal, but unfortunately Tasted nice but very disappointing as it lacked green peppers 🌶 spinach which was stated on menu, just tasted like bog standard pathia with an omelette on top. OK so I might give it another try in the future , have had better !
