The best restaurants serving Indian food in Plasnewydd Cardiff South Wales

Great food, worth the walk out of town. Staff are brilliant! Proper traditional Indian restaurant! Atmosphere was great too.

We tried the masala dosa and paneer dosa at Little Kochi. While the taste wasn't quite the authentic Indian flavor we were hoping for, the hygiene and ambiance were good, making it a comfortable place to dine. The service was a mix of experiences. The manager came across as a bit rude, but Abhi, the helper, was extremely kind and helpful, which made a big difference to our visit. Overall, it's a decent place if you prioritize cleanliness and a pleasant environment, though the food might not fully satisfy cravings for authentic Indian dosa.

Very welcoming on arrival. Excellent food and excellent service. It was my daughter’s birthday and she was given a complimentary desert and present. Can’t wait to return.

Como siempre fuimos cálidamente recibidos y disfrutamos de una noche fabulosa, así que puedo recomendar Lake Spice. Recientemente tuvimos un vale para un restaurante indio al otro lado de la ciudad donde nos sentamos en un comedor frío. Parte de la comida allí era satisfactoria, pero dos platos eran bastante soso. El restaurante en particular es muy caro, así que fue muy satisfactorio estar de vuelta en Lake Spice. En Lake Spice teníamos comida que era mucho mejor y más asequible. Hemos estado aquí muchas veces, así que puede recomendar Lake Spice. ¡Volveremos!

"Disappointing experience at Chaiwala! We're regular customers and love their food, but our recent visit was a letdown. We ordered the samosa chat, but unfortunately, found an insect in our food! We immediately brought it to the team's attention, but they brushed it off, claiming it was just a spice. We know what we saw, and it was definitely an insect. While we've had great experiences here before, this incident has left a bad taste. We hope Chaiwala takes food quality and hygiene more seriously to prevent such incidents in the future.

Keep coming back here. Seriously enjoy the food. Service was a little slower than usual on this visit, but non the less the food was too notch again.

I recently dined at Ponnuswamy Restaurant and it was phenomenal. The staff were friendly and attentive, and food was the real highlight. Portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. I highly recommend Ponnuswamy restaurant to anyone looking for South Indian cuisine. I’m already planning my next visit.

Tasty food, still hot when it arrived. Good value for money

Pasamos en nuestro camino para una cita, la ventana nos atrajo. Nos detuvimos en nuestro camino de regreso al coche para tomar algo de comida para una comida de cumpleaños. Agarré un poco de curry de garbanzos, ruego de curry, arroz biryani, chapatis, y luego algunos lados. Carga de pakora, bhaji, chile relleno bhajiya, hara bhara kebab, rollos de primavera, pimienta y chips de plátano picante. El servicio era genial, la comida era genial. The establishment advertised 40m delivery on one site and between 35-50m on another. Having made my order, the delivery still hasn't arrived 2 hours later. They postponed the delivery slots and when I called and advised it's taking too long and if it's going to be any longer I just want a refund, they did nothing to help but did cancel the order for me. Abysmal service, having 0 respect for their customers even though they obviously know how busy they are, to still lie about their delivery times. 2 hours feeling hungry to now have to look around again for another order.
