Grabbed some chick pea curry, beg curry, biryani rice, chapatis, and then some sides. Boat load of pakora, bhaji, stuffed chilli bhajiya, hara bhara kebab, spring rolls, pepper amd spicy banan chips. Service was great, food was great. Eill definitely go back, definitely recommend.

Ordered party matthai for guests 40 boxes opened two of the boxes one day after another and both boxes contained hairs the company boss said this does happen from time to time and would not offer a full refund for boxes we have put out to guests he said we would have to return them all. the sweets have gone all over the country but he wants us to collect them and take back to shop in Cardiff to get any sort of money back that’s there policy they should also put in policy sweeties may contain hair what a joke this is an insult to my family and guests we have give boxes too them not knowing what’s in them disgrace DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Excellent samosa and Indian style sweets. If you are not familiar with the sweets the staff are extremely helpful - ask them to supply a selection immediately and find out which your favourites are! A real treat.

Lovely Indian savouries, very spicy and good value for money. They sell a lot of sweet snacks but too sweet for me. The Bombay potato was delicious. It nice to find a shop that sells traditional Indian food.

I think all 5 Star reviews are there because no other Indian street food option is there. Food tastes like it was made days ago, punjabi samosa was extremely dry and off from inside and thick as cardboard from out side chat had chickpea rolling around and few papri bits on top, berfi sweet was off and dry too. Never again..

went for lunch yesterday on Saturday with my partner and little boy The service we received was 5 star which was largely due to the girl serving us who was amazing, helped us by choosing our curries - bombay potatoes, saag and paneer and helpfully telling us what her own favorites were the food was tasty, nice hot rice and fresh chapati, if im honest the curries were a little oily which i dont really enjoy, and the amount of oil in my partners paneer curry was too much I feel a little bad writing that because the girl at the end asked us if there is anything they could improve and seemed to invite feedback, I almost mentioned the oil and on reflection should have done, it just felt a little rude to have said So, I will go back there and order the Samosa Chat next time and be braver with my feedback and re-review on here too 4 stars due to service and value for money - £6 for 3 different curries, bread and rice was great, we will definatley return

Hot, tasty vegetable samosas - three for a £1. I am not admitting to having six - okay, they are that good.

Not that good. Pooja says it all. My meal stank of what I can only describe as, Poooja. It wasn’t nice. It was only £5 but it tasted like last weeks chicken. Mucho peste. Not recommended. Smelly!

Unfortunately I was also overcharged by a substantial amount by Pooja last week . £17 for 3 small vegetarian dishes and 6 small sweets. If I ever go there again, which is unlikely, I’ll be hyper vigilant about not doing contactless payments and ask for a receipt. A shame as the food was quite pleasant.

The food is ok, you get what you pay for and lets be honest its cheap. but the thing that i find most upsetting is getting blatantly overcharged. Apparently they try it on with many people. but the lady who served us yesterday was a disgrace as she pretended she didn't know what was going on. except when she was caught out she just carried on without even flinching. Apparently its common practice there so please be sure you don't get short changed and do your own calculations before parting with any money. At best food is mediocre when its fresh.

I occasionally eat in here as I work locally, The food is lovely and fresh and really reasonably priced. The aubergine and potato curry is a bargain for £4.50 to eat in with an accompanying rice/bread side. The samosas and the paneer tikka roll is delicious too. Well worth a visit.

I often pop in here for their super and reasonably priced curries, which all come in three sizes. I also like that you get a choice of free rice or chapati to accompany each dish. As a non vegetarian, I often just pick up side dishes to accompany a meat curry.

For Indian Vegetarian food, this place is brilliant! I haven't tried any sweets or savoury snacks as of yet but I have had a paneer curry and chapati bread which was really really good! Everything looks and feels like the shops I used to visit in London with family - authentic and delicious. Definitely going back!

Called in to Pooja as I had seen it often when passing, there is a huge selection of sweets which I never tried. I had a selection of samosas and snacks along with the paneer curry. It was delicious and good value for money and ideal for a quick lunch. This is a cafe style shop where you can eat in or takeaway.

I ordered and paid for some savouries for a small party for my local friends . When my friend went to pick up the order he was told that one of the items (dhokla) had gone off and they had texted me saying that it was being replaced by something else. Apparently the message which I later found in my "Unknown Senders " text box was sent to me only half an hour before the order was supposed to be picked up. The message said that they will give me something else instead of Dhokla as "....dokhla gone off for some resen...."

I've ordered 4 or 5 portions of various different curries from Pooja (embarrassingly, I'm not sure of the names of all of them!) and each one has been absolutely delicious. The flavours are well-balanced and each dish tastes considerably healthier than an average curry dish from a UK curry house. At £2.50, they are a steal- chapattis come free too! Will be visiting regularly.

I pop into Pooja occasionally for a snack, a good, healthy lunch for just £2.50! Today I had more than just a snack which comprised of masala samosa chaat, an aloo dish with chapati and some tea. I can recommend the chana dahl and the paneer with boiled rice also. I'm diabetic, but sometimes I will try the jalebi - naughty but nice! The selection of sweets is phenomenal. The welcome is always warm and friendly. New seating recently installed. I'll be back again and again.

Great Indian deserts and a chat bar at the back. Really great paneer samosa. Friendly staff too. Worth a look in when you pass. The samosas are only a pound or 5 for 3 quid and it beats the pasties from Greggs.
