Food was horrible. Chicken was rock hard. So hard that i couldnt eat it. Even my dog turned his nose up. What i did try to eat was horrible. Its 5am and im rolling around my bed in agony with stomach cramps and pains after violently throwing up

Very reliable! (Saag bhajee a little smushy) but that is my pure opinion! Tastes good though. Ordered many times from here and very consistent. Hope this helps

Has to be the best Curry in Cardiff, fresh, full of flavour. Always a great meal from here. Ordered extra for tomorrows meal too. Highly reccomend

Era como si me hubieran servido sobras de la semana pasada. Tal vez porque no pagué el precio completo, quién sabe. Dejé una reseña en la aplicación, y amablemente respondieron para decir que reembolsarían el costo del biriyani la próxima vez que ordené. Pero después de una comida tan mala, no estoy seguro de querer pedir de nuevo. Además, la revisión y los comentarios parecen haber desaparecido de las revisiones visibles en la aplicación. Traté de contactar con ellos y tuve que pasar por el chat de la aplicación, que no tiene nada que ver con el restaurante. Ordered a takeaway from here recently. FSA rating I always check first before looking at the menu. I was happy with both so I proceeded to order. Food came piping hot within reasonable timeframe. Very happy with that (other takeaways I've always needed to reheat the food upon arrival) Food was tasty and had quality flavour. The lamb and chicken pieces were tender and not dried out like some other restaurants I've ordered from. The menu pricing and foodhub service charges were reasonable so we will be using this as our regular takeaway and recommendations to others if this service/quality and costs remain consistent (reasonable inflation rates annually will be factored in too)

1st time eating here after driving past many times, the front of the take away always looked pretty eye catching and stood out to me. Ordered my old traditional Indian from here, house special byriani with a hot madras sauce, lamb dopiaza with pilau rice, 2 keema naans, and 4 onion bajhis.. All I can say this is in all my life of trying indian takeaways around the west and north of cardiff is hands down the best I've ever tried. It was pure perfection, and I simply can't understand any of the bad reviews on here The currys were out of this world tasty and me and my wife after hearing good stuff from friends about this place have now decided this is our new home for indian in the future.

Spent £30 to get delivery expecting to eat something delicious, but I was wrong. The quality and the taste of the food were awful.

Food was hot and arrived quickly. The food itself wasn’t the best. The curry was watery & the starters were not good. The one was just a tray of onion no meat

Ordered via just eat, just over £35. Had to cancel, maybe 30mins before they said delivery was due, in a hurry due to family emergency . No refund at all and no food either. My order even had a few cans of pop - they must have started "preparing" them. Won't use again. Shame as food decent and I'd used 5 or 6 times before. Will now go elsewhere . So, be careful when ordering!!

The staff on the phone was disrespectful rang to say some off my order was missing and how long would it take to arrive to be told it will get here when it gets here and hung up on to which I rang straight back requested manager to ring back still waiting they have lost a good customer and hope this review will stop others from using them

All the food was delicious , we had chicken cham cham, korma , tikka massala and plenty of it and it was hot . Definitely recommend 👌

Usually the food is amazing. This evening I pre-ordered a delivery for 20:00. A prawn puri and lamb byriani with a madras hot sauce. It arrived at 20:10 cold! The requested ‘madras’ hot sauce was bland and tasteless wirh no cick at all ☹️

cold food, hard dry chips, mushrooms very dry, very watery curries ,tasteless and small portions.

Food is always good, delivered quickly and still hot but today everything was pretty much perfect. Even arrived 10 mins before expected which was great, and the madras was even better than I’ve had before :)

I bit into a frozen piece of chicken so if that doesn't tell you to not order from here i dont know what will.

the Dal is a little bit too runny, and the Goan prawn curry a little bit flat on flavour, plus the prawns a little dry... but overall, quite good

Food was absolutely tasteless. The chicken was chewy, there was no taste to our chicken madras let alone spice. Really disappointed.

Service is fantastic food excellent....but you really have to think about ordering (chips) fries whatever...please LC I'm asking you to upgrade on the friendly potato your food service is excellent but you have to think your customers they luv chips ....im customers over 6yrs so don't shoot me I'm being honest your chips had to go fast! won't say where...but take this as constructive. Put in an order for delivery at 6.30pm. Was told my meal would arrive at 7.50pm. The meal turned up just after 8.50pm!!! Never had any issues with the food but tonight left me with a bitter taste in my mouth due to the shoddy delivery service. I paid extra for delivery but didn’t expect the meal to arive two and a half hours after I placed the order!!!

Had a lovely paneer Tikka and chicken shashlick this evening from love curry. Food was very delicious, nice and tasty, generous size portions. Thank you! Edited to add: we now order from love curry regularly and are always pleased with the quality, value and portion size of the food! Love the paneer special, chicken tikka, saag baji and paneer tikka are our favorites. Always made very quickly for collection too!

Everything we ordered was delicious but especially the shatkora (flavoured with a citrus fruit only available in Bangladesh). Knocks spots off other curry places in Cardiff - no bland generic dishes. Extremely generous portions and good service too.

Not the worst curry I've ever had but not good and I wouldn't order again.

This place has gone down really bad... I "was" a customer for many years, and gave them break for a few months due to poor food. Sadly the food is even more awaeful, they even now have added a "TIP" online- which by the way does NOT go to the driver - They are abusing their staff, and their customers! NEVER AGAIN!

I waited 2 hours for my order, after an hour and a half the website said it was out for delivery then after about an hour and 45 mins i rang them to see where our food was, the person on the phone said they will go check and they'll be right back and put the phone in their pocket and I could hear them laughing and joking in the background so after about 10 mins my partner said they are going to have to go down there to see what was happening with our order whilst I stayed on the phone and I messaged my partner when he was outside the store to say I was still in the guys pocket. My partner queried where our food was in the store and mentioned that I was still on the phone waiting for an answer and whoever was on the phone to me panicked and hung up on me without saying a word after I had waited 18 minutes on the phone. The staff in the store rang the driver to see if the food had been delivered and I had just received it so messaged my partner who was still in the store. The person in the store offered us a discount on our next order but also stated that we had been incorrectly charged on our initial order as we had received a text the day before offering 20% off which only applied to certain items on our order and not the entire order itself. The whole experience with the service has been awful. The only positive comment was that the food was nice. Not sure if we’ll be ordering from here again.

Ordered due between 19.30 and 19.50... arrived at 20.40 stone cold!

Placed our order at 5.50 pm Saturday 30th September said be an hour rang at 7.15pm said just left with order it arrived at 8.20 pm longest ever waited was very dissapointed with service as we use love curry alot, meal was cold chicken very chewy and nan bread was very burnt so wasn't eaten waste of money

Always used to enjoy curry's from Love Curry. Had one tonight for the first time in a while and not sure whether there is a new chef but it was a real let down. My curry was acceptable but my wifes chicken tikka masala was extremely watery and rather flavourless. A shame.... Will try elsewhere next time.

Reposting because my case was closed without any action taken! After spending over £60 we were hoping for a variety of tasty curries, however what we received was quite the opposite. The curries were oily and tasteless (see attached pics). After phoning up and asking for rectification, I was told “no worries, leave a review then”. Absolutely dreadful, AVOID!!! I had a bad stomach for over 3 days and they weren’t willing to take accountability of this!

Ordered chicken Saag, No taste, full of oil, absolute disgusting, after phoning love curry to speak and complain, the reply back was okay no worries. Straight in the bin! Don’t waste your money absolute disgusting .

I collected the meal to ensure the highest level of freshness and once I started to open the boxes the first thing I noticed was the amount of oil within the curry. The rice was swimming in water and if you could find a piece keema well done to you. This is the first time I've ever added salt to a curry. Absolutely tasteless. Don't waste your money, get a microwaveable Indian instead.

Normally the food is amazing! However, I think they must have changed the chef because on my last order the food just didn’t taste right. I thought it was a be a one off. So I made an order tonight and the naan tasted stale and old, the rice tasted strange, like it had been cooked and then re cooked, the chicken texture was not normal, like it was undercooked. It’s safe to say, we did not eat our meal and didn’t have anything else to eat as it really took our appetite away.

Love curry indeed , first time using and very happy with the food ,tasty Indian food and delivered promptly and good value, will use again

By far the best curry house around cardiff I would eat from no where eles apart from LoveCurry 10/10 never fails beats every where eles around so far so good 👍

First time ordering after seeing good reviews and not convinced I would order again, The delivery and timing was great but the food itself wasn’t the best, found the chicken in both curries was very dry and chewing was cut into and the naan bread very doughy and soggy

Normally nice food and good service but an estimate delivery time of 40-60mins turned into 2hrs on this order, ordered at 8.10pm on a Saturday evening hoping to have received it within the hour, was hoping for an early night due to work early Sunday morning, ended up not eating until about 10.15pm I'd have ordered elsewhere if I'd known in this occasion it would be so long. Food was nice and as I say they're normally spot on.

The food quality was not up to usual standards, I don’t feel the greatest now after eating the food although I didn’t even eat much. ALL naan bread were not cooked correctly. I would like a refund for this

I can't say enough good things about this place. It's now my go to Indian takeaway in Cardiff. Food is always top quality (I love a chicken pathia) and never takes more than 20-25 minutes from when you order.

Speedy delivery, generous portions and great tasting food

The vegetarian food was really tasty but the chicken curry wasn't tasty, also usually we have had mint sauce, salad and complementary poppadoms. Usually we are given these from your restaurant and others and expected this since we spent £50 approx. Before when we have eaten we have enjoyed the food and service but this time we felt let down. Almost £40 order, asked for a small tub of curry sauce on the side - was delivered fine, later the driver called me back saying his boss wanted £3 for the extra curry sauce. If we weren't almost finished eating, I would have returned the entire order - poor delivery driver probably spent £3 on petrol driving all the way back to get the £3. Won't be ordering again, shame as the food was decent.
