Absolutely amazing experience, one of the best meals I’ve ever had, would highly recommend.

Amazing little restaurant! Food was absolutely beautiful and full of flavour. The service was great, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Despite there being some very rude customers in the restaurant, the staff dealt with it professionally and politely. Already excited to go again!

Have ordered from here a few times. Curries and rice are always delicious. Chips are hit and miss. However, having always asked for delivery and despite being told 45-60 mins which is fine, the actual delivery time on the last 2 occasions has been 2+ hrs. Am told it's just being cooked or haven't got a driver. Really disappointing that this restaurant/ takeaway is not reliable with their delivery.

The food is very tasty. All freshly cooked which makes it a kittke slow . But worth the wait

Food quality is hot, tasty and beautifully presented. The staff go over what is needed and you will leave feeling really happy, content and full! There are so many curry houses at the moment, that this surpasses them because of their amazing staff. Definitely will come back.

DONT COME TO THIS PLACE. They are SCAMMERS THEY TRY TO ROB YOU. Me and my whole family came here to eat to celebrate for a bday. Everything was going well until it was time to pay. They tried to scam us by adding an additional £16 to our bill we was confused as we calculated all of our food Invidually and it still didn’t match the bill they kept saying u asked us for this but we didn’t they kept adding things to the table like chutney which we thought was free with the popadom but charged us at the end. £10 for a kids chicken nugget meal and changing price when calculating to pay the bill. It doesn’t match the menu. DONT COME HERE PLEASE they are scamming people. They thought we was stupid and unaware and we left without paying the addition fee as we have no idea where it came from.

I've eaten in a few times - the karahi used to be incredible. This was until today my favourite Indian restaurant. Had it as a takeaway today and it was salty like seawater. I think the chef has changed - people have told me the quality has declined in recent weeks and I have to agree sadly. (A family friend told me they oversalted his curry too). My wife had the sag aloo / shashlik and enjoyed it though. If the old chef isn't coming back I'd like to know where they moved to so I can continue to enjoy their food. If you are going to eat here make sure you have plenty of water to balance out the salt

Absolutely perfect. So delicious! Curry is my favourite food and Red Chilli is by far my favourite curry house in Cardiff. Great service too!

Had a takeaway and it was awful , I called to complain and they tried to tell me I didn't order from them , eventually agreed I did order and were not interested, the biriani had hardly any chicken in it and the keema nan bread was not freshly cooked and had bits of keema in it and felt like rubber ,the keema nan went straight in the bin ,best part of the meal was the chips , I would never recommend this place and the service is shocking, completely in denial and rude.

Was a bit under the weather and sought the comfort of home food, my first day in Fishguard- was pleasantly surprised to find this place. Best okra I've had outside of India. Real good food and very attentive service. Highly recommend!

Our favourite Indian restaurant, constantly high quality food and attentive service.

Food arrived with wrong sauce, called to query for the guy on the phone to start shouting at me being all defensive about the quality of their food. Apparently its my fault I don't like the sauce they sent me, congratulations regular customer lost in store and delivery.

Variety of dishes on offer. Special deal on a Sunday 4 items off main menu for £11.95 was good value in a pleasant uncrowded restaurant.

Very disappointed with tonight's meal ordered the chicken madras, the chicken was tough and sauce mild tasted more like a medium chicken curry. Chicken jalfrezi supposed to come with a mix off peppers and onion in a spicy sauce, well there must of been a whole large onion and spot the peppers ,did they run out of peppers or is it because onions are cheeper, the sauce was to hot more like a vindaloo I say this because my son has had this before hence why he ordered again 🤔 he couldn't eat it far to hot and to much onion. The rice was nice hence 1 star 30 pounds with delivery won't be ordering again.

This is a lovely restaurant with the clear view of Victoria park. Interior also well decorated and food is so good.

We went on Saturday early evening so it was quiet. The food was gorgeous it tasted so fresh and the service was good, will be going back again and again It was the best I've had in a long time

Ordered a take away to be delivered via Uber Eats. Was told delivery was handled by the restaurant themselves and would by no later than 6.30pm. Finally arrived at 7.50pm with a brief comment about them being busy!Garlic naan was stone cold, rice was cold and tasteless, curry was ok - good flavour but chicken was totally dry. Best part was the poppadoms and pickles.Very disappointed, won't be ordering again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Im that impressed with their food and service, that im writing this review in the middle of eating it. Very good food, very polite staff and made me feel very welcome whilst waiting for my collection. Will definitely be returning :)

Food is always great, staff is always friendly, have been going to this restaurant since it opened, and when it was the Cardoman, food was good when it was under previous management/owners. But since its re birth as Red Chilli the food quality has taken on a whole new level of quality. Cannot recommend it enough, same quality of food when delivered. 😁

Chicken bhuna was 9/10 and went on a Sunday for the deal was cheap and spot on, well deserved 5 star rating

Love this place. Always my favourite Cardiff curry. Don't come home that often but when I do, having a curry here is always enjoyed!

In a word great! Clean modern wheelchair accessible food wonderful large portions the staff excellent car parking on the street but that's not the restaurant fault at the moment my fav eating place

Delicious is the only word required. Possibly the nicest curry I've eaten. Meat was cooked really nice Chicken not at all dry i had a mixed grill with masala sauce and kema naan. Sauce was nice didn't overpower the rest of the food. Friendly staff nothing was a problem. Had to take our son along as we lost our child care last minute. No problem at all not fazed by the fact we had to take his own food due to a peanut allergy. Great xmas works do will be returning. A must for curry lovers.

Went last night with 3 friends, the atmosphere was lovely and very cosy, the staff was very frinedly and helpful, what can i say about the food it was sooo tasty cant fault the food it was nice and hot with loads of flavours in it.the chicken bhuna was amazing. 10 out of 10 definitely will go back soon.

visited the red chilli with my mum and honestly one of the best curries I’ve had! The atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely and the staff were amazing... they couldn’t do enough for you! I will definitely be returning in the near future!!!

Service here was exceptional. The drinks menu was vast, the dinner menu more so. We were puzzled as we first approached the restaurant as it seemed dark inside yet the sign said 'Open', we proceeded to find the restaurant was half full, we were greeted and seated, the tables were laid and spaced perfectly, we were handed menus and given time to browse, our drinks order was taken and swiftly delivered, we decided to skip starters and jump straight to the Main course. Normally trying somewhere new we stick to our usual because it's 'safe' , easier to compare, however we felt adventurous as it was our anniversary, we were not let down by it. Our food came out in good time, finely delivered on a trolley and presented on the table perfectly, it was delicious, the textures and flavours married together with the aromas of the food gave that authentic feel and taste that is expected in high end restaurants, the breads were crisp on the bottom and soft on the top, the rice dishes were fragranced but not overpowering. Chef should be proud. HOWEVER, the food was served by a very polite man very professional but was wearing a large print "Ben Sherman" T-shirt and the prices on the bill did not match the prices on the menu, there were discrepancies either way on all but 2 items, once calculated correctly we were overcharged by £5.20. The decor in places needs attention however the majority is great. Paying attention to these few areas and the restaurant could up the prices and up their game. Definitely recommend going!!

This place has to be one of the nicest Indian takeaways. Food always arrives hot and it’s always on time. Always so yummy and goes well in the house with a bottle of wine. 😂

Waiters are very rude and didn’t seem to want to serve us even though we were the only ones in there. Also got our order wrong and tried arguing when we brought them up on it.

It has recovered the quality and reputation lost by Cardomom. Service good and staff friendly especially if one engages. The food was very good. Definitely worth revisiting if one used to use the Cardomom before its decline.

Absolutely disgusting :( Ive ordered a Takeaway delivery from these guys for a long time, but the past few weeks Ive been very disappointed. Ive given them the benefit of the doubt, but sadly tonight my meal was so Bad I had to complain to the Restaurant. They offered a replacement meal, but I would not want to risk another one :( They Vegetarian Madras arrived as a pale Brown sauce full of "seeds" and onions and nothing else but 2 lumps of potato? There was "no Curry flavor" at all... It was very Bland and completely Tasteless? My guess is that they possibly have a new Manager, or cook these past few months? I will no longer use these guys.

First time visiting the restaurant, the food and service was fantastic. We'll be back again soon! 😊

Ordered a curry from here and my curry pot was half full. And it took 1 hour & 25 minutes to come. The delivery driver must have been hungry. Onto the next curry house!
