Lovely staff and good food. Portions excellent. Value good too. A little bit out of the city but worth £5 in an Uber! Go try.

Me and some friends recently decided to start a regular curry club night as an opportunity to all get together, so we booked a table at Spice Village for our first night. A fantastic choice to start! Everyone in the group thoroughly enjoyed their food. Every dish tasted beautifully and was presented well. Some of us had the usual curry choices like balti, jalfrezi, dopiaza, while some had some of the chefs specials like Lamb Kohlapuri. Across the board the food was brilliant. One of our group is vegan and there were plenty of vegan options for him to choose from which he enjoyed too. With so many delicious sounding options on the menu to choose from, it was a good dilemma to have and we all wanted to try some of each other's meals as all looked so good! The garlic nanns were amazing👌 The staff were very polite, attentive and welcoming. Overall a great experience. I'd highly recommend Spice Village if you are in Cardiff and looking for some good tasty food! Thank you Spice Village for a wonderful start to our curry club nights. We'll no doubt be back again!🙌

This is our second visit here and again a delicious chicken dupiaza. Decent portion size and not over spiced. A welcome is assured and the staff are very attentive

A very friendly welcome this evening. Incredibly polite and attentive staff. I asked for some small changes to the dishes to suit my diet and my requests were received with a smile and a “no problem at all” The chicken tikka was melt in the mouth and full of flavour and spice. All the ingredients tasted so fresh. I had a sizzle plate with chicken and onion and peppers - blackened till sweet and juicy. Over all a lovely evening with comfy chairs and tables spaced nicely. A warm room on this cold evening was welcome too. Very good prices also. Highly Recommended.

Very delicious food and a lovely relaxing environment. We both chose vegetarian dishes, for our mains. I had vegetable Rogan Josh and my husband had vegetable Dansak. The waiters were very attentive. Really tasty food. All in all a great evening.

Very good service as one of the customers has allergies, was very thorough with detailing the needs for the allergy and shown pictures of the ingredient’s. Flavourings for the curries were especially exquisite. Would highly recommend.

I’ve been here recently and I’m really disappointed. First of all, the quality of the food were really down of any standards. Secondly, the service was extremely bad and unprofessional.

To be honest there are extremely limited options for vegetarians now , which is sad as when the previous restaurant was called Bombay grill which had better options… hopefully they will take this into consideration and increase the vegetarian options! Service was fine!

Love a good curry. Can never finish it, good portions. So much variation, but if you want a traditional curry they will do that as well. Good lads.
