The best restaurants serving Indian food in Wales

We ordered from this place thinking to try somewhere different, it was awful. My partner had a tikki masala, he said it was like tasting really sweet tea. I asked for lamb in my dish and I got chicken my dish was meant to be spicy, i got a similar dish to a korma. Also we ordered a garlic naan we got normal. Wouldn't waste your money with this place.

Daughter placed order online, order arrived with curry missing. She phoned up and they called my daughter a liar saying two people said it was in the box, it wasn't. Had to phone them back and they said that the curry was there,I told them it wasn't. I told them how annoyed I was that my daughter had been called a liar. They offered to send the missing curry out like they were doing me a favour, but I said the rest of the food would be cold by then. They said it would take 5 mins I don't know what car they are driving but I definitely live more than 5 minutes away. I said this they said no no it will be there in 5 minutes (it wasn't). Told them just to refund the missing curry but they refused. Said mistakes happen blamed a new member of staff. I can appreciate mistakes happen but am annoyed at firstly being told we were wrong and then them admitting they made a mistake, also the attitude we received. Said that they wouldn't refund, just replace the missing curry. On their own website it states if there are any issues please ring them and for a refund obviously this is not the case. So please be warned! They did send the curry but by then the rest of the food was cold. We won't be ordering from there again which is a shame as having tennagers in the house they order take out frequently. Save your money and order else where you might not be called a liar.

Very welcoming and such good staff. The food was everything you expect and was presented well . We will return when in the area.

The food quality is very low , using same element in every other dish, the taste is also very bland, poor customer service , if you want to try only try dosa nothing else.

This is a standard Wetherspoons fare, which basically means you just cannot go wrong for the money. Popped in for a meal on a Sunday night and the place was packed. Food was very quickly serviced and very hot. Was both throughly enjoyed our meal. The toilets are up the sleeps stairs I’ve yet to come across!

Used to be great here. It has now gone over to a dreadful buffet. Went for a celebration and it was not good at all. So sad. However, Three Elephants just down the road is phenomenal. Same owners as the amazing Hattis in Newport and Three Moghuls. Avoid this place and go to one of those instead.

5 night stay in Betws-y-coed ate here twice . Absolutely cannot fault the place , brilliant food ,quite authentic . Good service, food cooked how mild / hot you require it to be . We will definitely be back here on our next trip to the area .

Estábamos en aberystwyth celebrando nuestro aniversario de boda de perlas y decidimos conseguir una comida para llevar. Pedí cebolla bhagi para empezar, que estaba bien, . Luego pedimos el dhansk de langostino rey, chana masala ya que no como tomates y ninguno de estos tenía tomates listados y un balti de verduras, como principal. El dhansk fue descrito como medio caliente, pero estaba tan picante que me corrían los ojos cuando abrí el párpado. Estaba tan picante que no era comestible. El chana masala consistía en una tina de garbanzos con trozos de tomate que nunca antes había probado en ningún masala. No hay salsa masala a la vista. El pashwari nan estaba seco y carecía de todo sabor. Al balti le faltaba sabor y solo puedo describirlo como un mal guiso grasiento. Lo único bueno de ella fue que la chica que lo entregó fue muy complacido y disculparse por perderse en el camping, que es muy fácil de hacer si eres nuevo. Lamentablemente esta experiencia me ha postergado el uso de shilma tandoori de nuevo

Booking system useless, bland restaurant walls, bright lighting , no music, food presentation bland, but edible. We arrived at 17:50 for pre-booked table at 18:00, and without even confirming our name, was told to take a seat in the lobby. Few minutes later, a couple who had not booked, were promptly seated in the restaurant. I stood up to complain, whereupon we were then seated. Service was ok for a busy evening, but food lacked presentation and my Lamb madras was a bit lack lustre, though spicy enough. Chips served on cold plate, but were hot, rice was ok. Keema naan was excellent. They seem more interested in getting takeaways out the door than paying attention to sit down guests, and the booking system via telephone or messenger is a bit 1990’s. Don’t know why they are not on Just Eat, though I expect it’s financially driven. All in all, disappointing and stressful experience. Will think twice about using them next time. Also, I read a similar review from July last year, which highlighted several issues that I have mentioned, but despite the restaurant manager saying they take these issues on board, it’s obvious they don’t, so I guess we will have to vote with our feet and walk away.

Pedimos una comida para llevar a las 5: 35 pm en Nochevieja que totalizó £ 80. Nos advirtieron que tardaría 50 minutos en ser entregado. 3 horas después de que pedimos la comida llegó piedra fría y la mayoría de los contenedores se habían derramado y contaminado los otros contenedores de alimentos. Durante nuestra espera de 3 horas llamamos al restaurante para averiguar dónde estaba nuestra comida y nos dijeron que estaban muy ocupados y no tenían suficientes conductores de entrega. Me dijeron en mi última llamada que mi comida estaba lista y que me mantenían caliente esperando a que un conductor me entregara. 30 minutos después de esa llamada la comida se arruinó. Llamé para hablar con un gerente, pero me dijeron que un reembolso no era posible ya que la comida había aparecido, pero un gerente volvería a llamar para discutir. Nadie ha vuelto a llamar. Evitaría este lugar a toda costa. Su servicio es espantoso. £ 80 en comida fría, derramada y no una disculpa u oferta de reembolso. A juzgar por otros comentarios también tienen forma para esto.

Red Chilli es el antiguo Cardamom. . . . . visitamos el domingo pasado y tuvimos una comida fabulosa y excelente servicio amable y un precio muy razonable
