The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the Bhatura Chana , Samosa Chaat and Malai Kofta. In Scotland, This is my first restaurant so far which has many veg dishes. Balbir’ @ Route 77 is my must to go place if I am around Kilmarnock.

Was really disappointed with food..was brick hard neck of lamb and a couple of bits of fatty shoulder of lamb. Definitely was last night's left overs.. don't use cheap cuts of lamb explain what you are serving to customers. The sauce wasn't a korma no cream just full of sugar.. Pauline Frame I agree it's just a general red batch sauce thats tweaked added to any order..dine in restaurant reviews are pretty decent folk seem spoiled when they sit in. I also got the starter with small lamb shish which was lovely and soft..chicken tikka dry. Burnt bhaajis.. Takeaway customers are important as well

Such a SCAM!!! Had the worst experience. So the food was delicious and no problem with that. Me and my friend went to the restaurant for food and drinks. There was no drink menu in the restaurant but not a problem as we were only getting soft drinks. We had 4 drinks all together (coke pints) and we got a HAND WRITTEN bill that our drinks were £20. While ordering we seen the waitress put a can of juice in a pint glass and filled it with ice. I’m sorry but £5 for a can of juice. That £20 could easily go to another meal. Honestly gutted as the food was great but I went to call the restaurant and I was told I was saving money apparently by getting a pint. Really disappointed overall with everything and won’t recommend

The photos of the venue on tripadvisor are not of the actual place. It is a takeaway, with 3 booths and a few tables, which look like they have been pulled out of an old closed down restaurant. This place cannot be classed as a restaurant. All the fast food takeaway customers are coming and going and the delivery drivers are sitting about. We ordered 2 starters, 2 curries, a mixed xxl kebab and some drinks. The curries were decent, no complaints, the kebab was anaemic looking, on asking they said they had cooked it in an oven as opposed to a grill or tandoor. If nowhere else is available, and you need a meal, then take your chance, I will be avoiding in the future, bill for 3 was £52, certainly not cheap for a small town.

Used to love this restaurant 30 years ago. Seems the kitchen don't know how to make any curry, side or bread these days. The sauces we ordered were an absolute joke - weirdly coloured and flavoured. Mushroom rice - rice with fried mushrooms chucked in as an oily afterthought. Stuffed paratha was an actual wrap. A wrap bought from a supermarket and pretending to be paratha. Saag paneer was more saad paneer. Won't be back to this place, it's too far gone now

Stopped going here for curries a while back due to the lack of consistency. Thought I’d give it another go…shouldn’t have bothered. Spinach curry was just veg swimming in grease, Peshwari naan was burnt to a crisp. I was told the Bhuna was ok, nothing special. Definitely won’t be ordering a curry from here again. Pity as this place used to be the best around.
