The food is amazing! The menu is very interesting with a nice variety of authentic dishes that are cooked to perfection with fresh spices for delicious flavors. The portions are generous and the service is great. I highly recommend it.

Delivery ok, nan cold and chewy , chicken just added to sauce and not cooked in . The sauce was quite good. Not as good as expected by quite a margin based on previous experience.

During my recent visit to Gulab Tandoori Restaurant, I had the opportunity to experience their buffet service, which is not commonly found in other Indian restaurants. For just £13, I enjoyed a variety of delicious starters, flavorful curries, freshly baked naans, and tempting desserts. I particularly enjoyed the veg spring rolls, Chicken korma, and Garlic Naans. The staff were hospitable, readily available, and very helpful. They made sure the food remained fresh and warm throughout. I later discovered that the buffet service is only available on Fridays and Saturdays, so I plan to visit again soon with my family..

The food was tasty, the prices were fair, and the service was excellent. Opted for the business lunch and it definitely hit the spot. We had a good time and plan on returning.

I always love going here, it's so lovely in terms of looks and the food is absolutely delicious as always (the cheese pizza was sooo good and the cheese stretchered for so long) more the staff are very nice. If you ate ordering food it can take a while but it's worth the wait!

We visited on a midweek evening. The food was lovely, and although we couldn't try the cocktail list as we were driving, it looked great. The chasni garlic naan is a must-try!

Some of the best burgers and pizzas I've ever tasted! The burgers contain proper meat, and the pizzas are wonderfully cheesy.

Recently visited Gulab for the first time since we're new to the area, and it was a pleasant surprise. The service was welcoming and efficient, the food was excellent, and reasonably priced. We'll definitely be returning.

Not great, table service was ok, the starters were ok, the main course was horrible, the chicken was hard and chewy, all 4 people at the table had chicken dishes and we all left the chicken, a complaint was made, they offered to make new main dishes but we refused, we did get a good discount on the bill, unfortunately I can not recommend this restaurant.

Worst takeaway ever used here plenty of times before uses to be brilliant ordered a takeaway yesterday had to shout driver back to get can of itmrn bru which I noticed straight away was missing the delivery was 2 hours all driver could say was there busy should put more drivers on if that's the case food was cold and coleslaw and seekh kebab was missing they have a cheek to charge 4.50 for local delivery when the delivery service is as poor plus they over charge for everything if you want salt and Vinegar they charge extra as I said I used to use here regularly as it used to be a great restaurant but it has seriously went down hill and is now the worst in irvine probably further I fir one won't be ordering from there ever again

Ordered takeaway tonight, 2 hours for delivery, food lukewarm, chicken pakora totally overcooked and inedible, lamb/ chicken tikka also overcooked, unseasoned and tasteless. Probably one of the worst meals I have ever had from a restaurant that used to be very good.

Ordered a takeaway for my sons 18th at the studio in Kilmarnock. Food came exactly on time piping hot and masses of everything. Couldn't fault a single thing, it was delicious

I have had very good food in this restaurant and my friends have said very good service, they are very humble and polite and serve very good food.

Never would I ever order again. Owner is rude. Tries to challenge people to a fight because you mention on about no meat in the curry. Absolute joke of a place. Never again. Better places to eat from in the area.

Travelled from Paisley to get our takeaway, the people were pleasant, the takeaway cost £46, we got the curry in a nan x3 and a couple of pakoras, very disappointing food was pretty much tasteless, they should get cooking lessons, bad, very bad.

My partner drove from Paisley to get this food as he saw online that it was award winning. Was the award for 'most tasteless food'? I think the 'chef' slept with someone who can cook good Indian Cuisine and believes this is enough to be an Indian Chef. Cost almost £50. Would have had a better quality meal making toast at home. Lesson learned. Won't be back and feel sorry for future customers.

Had a brilliant meal early on Thursday evening. Food was superb, generous portions, piping hot and very tasty. Staff were lovely, very friendly. Marked one star off for atmosphere as we were the only diners until near the end of our meal when restaurant started to fill up. Will definitely go back and very soon.

Had a drink in the bar first which is spacious with plenty of tvs for sport etc. The restaurant is spacious also, clean and well laid out. The meal was outstanding and very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and the girl serving us made sure we were OK without being too intrusive. We visited the restaurant following a tik tok review and will definitely be back.

Really great experience and so kind too. We were trying to make a train and hence were on a rush. They made sure we had an expeditious yet great experience. I especially recommend the malai chicken dish as well as dairy lentil.

We went here for dinner tonight 2 adults and 2 teenagers, the restaurant had a lovely ambiance. It was clean, modern but homely From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. We ordered the tikka masala, korma jalfrazi and roman josh, all with chicken. The rogan josh had a real kick to it, there was big bits of juicy chicken as were all of our mains, full of flavour, you can see the flavour when the meals are delivered to your table. Overall I can highly recommend a visit here whether with your family (they have a kids meal section) or as a date night treat The restaurant was warm and comfortable They have a set meal menu or you can order of the regular menu. The prices are fantastic for this quality and quantity of food. Very disappointed after a recommendation from a friend who actually came to my house for dinner. And out of curiosity I came on here and I notice it’s either great or poor. Not really a in between . Also as a chef I know how bad a visit from environmental health needs to be to get a needs improvement! Trust me 9/10 it’s a pass unless serious violations and poor hygiene or record’s kept. Now I’m not saying 100% sure it was because of here but the next morning I was woken by terrible stomach pains and sickness which I’m never sick and diarrhoea probably some thing to do with my job in kitchen and being over cautious with hygiene. Sorry won’t be back in a hurry
