Very Friendly as I Gave them Bed 18 at plots in Toryglen to plant some Stuff in 2023 for the Restaurant so the Family has a great Bed at the plots

It doesn't look like much from the outside; very basic decour on the inside. However, the food was excellent and at a decent price. Also very good choice of food!

And it was great! Loved the sharing pakora platter, and South Indian garlic chilli chicken had great spice. Fast and friendly delivery.

Brilliant restaurant, great portions, tasty and lovely staff. Highly recommended. Prices are amazing.

The owners and staff in this little gem tucked in the south side of Glasgow can’t do enough to please the customers and they serve the best tastiest food. A delightful experience every single visit. Do yourself a favour and get along for lunch or dinner.😋😋😋

I used to go to this restaurant every now and then. Their buffet was seriously tops. Just had a take away. Got to be the worst Indian I have had in my like. Nentara was tasteless. Chasni just tasted of coconut. Horrendous. Pakora 😂 terrible. Never again

I normally order Indian take away at the same restaurant and this time I tried this New Anand after seeing some reviews. I would say it was better than the previous Indian restaurant food. Ordered. Chicken chat Tandoori chicken Lamb biryani South indian garlic chilli - chicken gravy Naan All food items I think were OK but still the garvy is missing the authentic Indian aroma. I repeated second time the same items. If you want to give a try first time, give it a go and for the above items.

Really enjoyed our meal here. We ordered off the set menu and had starters, mains and sides. A great feast. We had a number of alcoholic drinks and the bill came to about £44. staff were really nice and busy. I would recommend and I will return.

Carry out birthday tea for 2. Chicken pakora, followed by chicken patia and the tandoori mix. One of the nicest Indian carry out meals we have ever had.

Wonderful food,great menu with a large variety. We always eat off the main menu but there is a lovely buffet with an extensive choice. The owners & staff are all lovely,very attentive & eager to please.

We usually end up in here on a Saturday night. It's an Indian buffet which would normally put me off but they don't leave the dishes in the hotplates for hours they cook fresh for the amound of people in the restaurant so the food is always fresh.

A no fuss buffet night with friends. Perfect to sit chat away the night for hours catching up. Food was great and staff friendly. Yes it was a first on the Gulab Jaman front for dessert for me and although I didn’t know what to expect it didn’t disappoint.

We came to remember our friend and the shills n giggles we used to have with Sandu. The service and food is still as good as it was the day this place opened in the eighties. Lamb so soft and Garlic Chilli Chicken was perfect. That's just the buffet! The Gulab Jaman is the cherry on top. Always get the Gulab Jaman with ice cream. 5 stars.

Got off the train at the nearby Station Pollokshields West and popped in to try the Buffet. Restaurant looks a bit tired could do with a refurbishment but really enjoyed the food especially the Garlic Chilli Chicken. Good Value and made us feel very welcome.

Some friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the buffet last night and the friendly atmosphere. The dishes on offer were delicious, varied and plentiful and the staff were really welcoming. The New Anand continues to offer constant excellent service and cuisine.

Pakora sauce to die for and curries were lovely too. We had the buffet and I had 2 full plates of chicken pakora and chicken chat which was delicious. Then I had 2 plates of curry which were Devine. Will be back for sure.

Been comming to the new annand for years. By far my favourite Indian buffet. Food is of a high quality and stsff are constantly topping up the buffrt with fresh food. Staff very attentive. Grest value for money too.

El buffet era entonces distribuida. Fue bonito pero no mucho que tengo prisa en volver. Es muy desconcertante a ser las únicas personas comiendo en el restaurante. A nice wee restaurant,went here last Saturday,there was six of us and we all got a different curry so we could taste their range,the verdict was it was very good,top marks for the Madras,Tandoori,Bhuna,Jalfrezi and the Rogan Josh,plenty of rice and breads,the staffwere very good.I will definitely try it again

If in Glasgow go here for a curry the buffet is tremendous and really good value, as are meals of the menu. The staff are very excellent. I would say it is my favorite Indian restaurant in the UK

It is a long while since my hubby and I have had a carry out from this restaurant but I am glad to say that the food is still as tasty and of good quality.

This is a great wee place to visit for some great tasting Indian food. Looking from the outside it does not look much, but going on food, the taste is great and the staff are lovely and very willing to make sure your meal is perfect each visit! There is a choice of a la carte, or Buffett. We go Buffett so we can experience a more range of the foods. The starters are cooked in small quantities , to ensure freshness for each person. Absolutely delicious pakoras . The main courses (about 7 at least) are all well labelled and the chef is always more than willing to explain how they are cooked and the ingredients. With most Indian restaurants , desert is usually a small selection, including mango kulfi , which is very tasty! I would also recommend a jug of mango lasthi , a drink made with Indian yogurt and mangos. The only downside of this place is the toilet is down a narrow flight of stairs. The price is great , food awesome, staff delightful! What are you all waiting for, give it a try!

Our first stop when we are in Glasgow, unpretentious little family restaurant specialising in fantastic Indian cuisine exactly like it should be. Wonderful and well worth a visit due to the qaulity food and the fantastic staff. Inexpensive but rich in flavours.
