The best restaurants serving Indian food in East Ayrshire South West Scotland

Although this is only a carry out service, The "ROYAL Tandoori" is as excellent in quality cooking and service as you will find with any great Indian sit-down Restaurant.

food was so delicious and staff really took care of us. unfortunately quite a long wait on the food but it was definitely worth it.

We did have a problem with a foreign object our food, however the way the manager investigated the incident and admitted the that the issue was theirs was refreshing. Overall happy with the final outcome.

Had a tandoori mixed grill with madras sauce and friend had Chicken biryani with a korma sauce! Absolutely delicious and staff remembered what l had previously .Service excellent, and free spiced onions and poppadoms lovely ! Great meal as usual that's why l travel from Ayr! 5*

So thought we would pop in for food at 8 pm , it was quiet , got table no bother - but the place was cold , but I had heard the food was good . The service was poor , , food was mediocre the samosa was solid , nan bread was not fresh and £5.80 for a 330 ml bottle of lager ... Really ? The table next to us left as it was so cold Many much better Indian restaurants nearby

The photos of the venue on tripadvisor are not of the actual place. It is a takeaway, with 3 booths and a few tables, which look like they have been pulled out of an old closed down restaurant. This place cannot be classed as a restaurant. All the fast food takeaway customers are coming and going and the delivery drivers are sitting about. We ordered 2 starters, 2 curries, a mixed xxl kebab and some drinks. The curries were decent, no complaints, the kebab was anaemic looking, on asking they said they had cooked it in an oven as opposed to a grill or tandoor. If nowhere else is available, and you need a meal, then take your chance, I will be avoiding in the future, bill for 3 was £52, certainly not cheap for a small town.

Visited with some friends last week. Lovely fresh and tasty food. Table buffet great value for money. Great variety. Excellent service from start to finish from the female owner. Best Indian locally by far. Would highly recommend to others. Looking forward to returning soon.

I used to get the king kebab from here years ago on a Saturday night & the shop was mobbed, people waiting to pick up their orders, went in tonight for a king kebab & I was the only customer waiting, I took the kebab home & couldn't believe the size of this supposedly KING kebab, it was a lot smaller than it was years ago & that was really disappointing especially at £9:50 the quality was still good, but far more salad than chicken, won't be returning in a hurry 😞sad

Expect to wait a bit longer than given time but it’s defo worth the wait .

Probably the worst Kebab I've ever had and I've had a microwave Kebab from Iceland, The Donner meat was tasteless, The Naan bread was undercooked and doughy plus tasted like vinegar which was an experience. Went in the bin. Deffo not gonna be trying here again. Salad was alright though so that's something at least

Called to complain said would send a number to send pictures but didn't pizza was burnt and wither flung in box or dropped. Also late with delivery just for that ! Never again

Ever since I moved here from Glasgow a few years ago, I have tried other takeaways but nothing comes close to Kebab city Newmilns, it's amazing food, Fast and efficient service consistently. I would highly recommend it.

Popped in last week on Friday as my son was boxing in the area. I ordered food on my way so it would be ready as i was fasting. The hospitality shown by the owner was second to none when he realised I was travelling from far and ordered food to break my fast.
