Although this is only a carry out service, The "ROYAL Tandoori" is as excellent in quality cooking and service as you will find with any great Indian sit-down Restaurant.

Fantastic meals ordered tonight. Came at the earliest estimate which was appreciated. Everyone lived their meals. Will order again.

Ordered a lamb curry and a chicken korma which to my taste it was very bland. Curry wasn’t a curry with no spice to it and for some funny reason, it’s was pink in colour which was blended like baby food. The chicken in the korma was tough and the sauce was tasteless and no coconut flavour. Best thing from my meal was the popadoms which cost me £31.20. Won’t be back as waste of money.

Edited 28/09. After being a customer for a few years over the last few orders we have had an issue from missing items to poor customer service, however tonight just no words...when we ordered saw massive price increase and when food arrived, an hour after order placed, it was minimal portions. The pizza was cold and hard, the dopiaza had a weird taste which I couldn't eat , roll on 5 hours from consumption my partner has been ill and can't stop being sick. Never again will I order anything from here again, when you call ( over the years there has been perhaps 2/3 issue's) the staff are rude and don't give a dam.

Box was soggy and food not hot, think it had been sitting a while before delivery

First off, their prices are ridiculous. We tried them a year ago and paid more for a take home curry than we did when we go sit down at a restaurant!! The food tasted ok back then. Nothing memorable but not awful. I saw the sign that they were under new ownership. I thought I'd try them again. I wouldn't have thought it was possible, but they've gotten worse. I paid more than £25 for 2 ckn curries and 2 naans. No rice. No starters. Not even a poppadom. 25 POUNDS. I made my own 'hoose rice'. Flavour: my son got the HOT Garlic chili which was not hot at all. Did they think we look like people who can't handle spicy food? The korma tastes like it came from a cheap jar sauce. I thought the saving grace would be the Peshawari Naan. The previous owners made a great peshawari naan, but nope. Doughy. Bland. No honey. Forget this place. I can't stand when places price gouge us because we're in a rural area. I couldn't believe their prices and then the low quality food. It's such an insult. If you want GREAT Indian food at an amazing price (£6 for a starter, curry, AND rice for lunch), then look at Jai Apur in Ardrossan. Those folks know how to make a tasty curry that's easy on the wallet. It's worth the drive. As for this place, drive past. Give it a miss.
