The best restaurants serving Indian food in South West Scotland

Estuve hoy en el buffet de Navidad. Esta fue nuestra tercera Navidad aquí y definitivamente no será la última. Cada año mejora y hoy no fue la excepción. El personal es muy acogedor desde el principio y no puede hacer lo suficiente para que su visita sea agradable. Muy buena elección de la comida y los precios son razonables. Incluso me dieron un regalo de una botella de vino al salir que fue un toque muy agradable. Volveré pronto y reservando temprano para la próxima Navidad. 10 / 10

First time in the town so headed for a kebab shop - such a lovely place and I was immediately befriended by the main man. I wanted to get the lamb well done but he talked me out of it buy making me taste all different sauces etc - so passionate and knowledgable about the food he was preparing - we chatted for ages whilst the food was being prepared and I went away with so many cooking tips to try myself and the food itself was 10/10! Highly recommended!

Went here last night, for two Birthday celebrations, my friends 65th, & my 80th.The food was nothing short of amazing, hot, good portion sizes, & lot's to choose from on the Menu. The king prawn sizzler I had was beautiful, & you could tell they were fresh. My fellow birthday girl, had a cheese nan among other things, that she said was fabulous, My Husband, wolfed his food down, & said he wouldn't hesitate to come back here again. We weren't rushed,were asked if we were ready for the next course. or did we want to rest for a while ( which we thought was so nice ) The new owner, could't do enough to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. This is a lovely Restaurant, affordable, & with a great atmosphere.Will see you again very soon, & hope you get lot's of Customers, as you certainly deserve it. The effort you've put into the Mountain Spice restaurant definately shows...Well done ! See you very soon.

Ordered a tandoori mix grill home delivery. I must say this was by far the tastiest tandoori mixed grill I've ever had. It was so good I called the restaurant to tell them how amazing it was. Fresh tasty and hot.

Although this is only a carry out service, The "ROYAL Tandoori" is as excellent in quality cooking and service as you will find with any great Indian sit-down Restaurant.

Comida increíble como siempre. El personal es absolutamente fantástico y la comida siempre es excelente y a un precio muy razonable. Nunca decepcionará.

"German donner"? They have a cheek to call their items German donner. Has the owner ever been to Germany? Or even to Glasgow where they have many German donner places? The donner meat was soggy and disgusting, not a hint of char. This is just a usual run of the mill kebab shop. Minimum quality that they can get away with. You'd have to be stoned or have no taste buds to enjoy the food. I had a "mixed donner wrap" which was a regular tortilla wrap that you'd get from the supermarket. I'd be at least be expecting some kind of Turkish kebab bread. What the hell? Never again. Oh and they are also still using polystyrene boxes for the food which as far as I know is illegal as they don't decompose. Oh, I get it now. The cash and carry must've had a label of "German donner bread" on their shoddy imitation of German donner bread. And that allows this place to mislead potential customers like me.

I ordered a takeaway tonight for myself and my husband earlier and it was delicious. Service on phone was professional, food was so fresh and lovely and hot. Looking forward to dining there in the future and would highly recommend Yasmin's.

Fantastic meals ordered tonight. Came at the earliest estimate which was appreciated. Everyone lived their meals. Will order again.

not called jasmine now we visit down from Glasgow lovely looking restaurant good service its a byob but sadly the food wasn't to our liking was OK but wouldn't return

Been here for a few collections also sit in. Was quite disappointed tonight pakora was lovely rice and sauces lovely. Chips not so good not cooked enough for us personally also cheese onion nan no taste of cheese really doey but dry also tasteless. Curry cooked perfect but more spice than flavour

This is the first time my wife and I have had a home delivery from this restaurant and I can't compliment their food enough, I had a beef curry which was so good, the beef melted in my mouth, my wife had a chicken korma which she said was the best Indian meal she had ever eaten, high praise indeed as she is a very fussy eater, we also had veggy pakoras and they were fantastic crispy on the outside and so fresh inside, we will go to this restaurant next time as the food was so good mmmm

Great food reasonably priced and quick service for my carry out.
