Fantastic dinner with the wife on a wet Sunday night. Service from the waitress were very good and the food was excellent. The chilli momo and Nepalese traditional fish curry are a must try. Will be back for sure!

Honestly amazing tasty food better than our favourite Indian, and the staff are so polite and help full. The outside of the restaurant does not reflect the amazing food and people in this resturant the inside is clean and comfortable.

No habíamos reservado. Así que entra. Pedimos 4 entrantes como nuestra primera visita, así que no estoy muy seguro del menú: Rollos de primavera de verduras; Momo de verduras; Miel de pollo y chhoila de pollo (que estaba picante 🔥). Absolutamente delicioso 10 de 10 para el sabor, el servicio y los check backs muy importantes por el personal de espera después de nuestros entrantes fueron colocados. Momo's fueron hechos por encargo, señalizados como 30 minutos, así que tuvimos los otros 3 entregados mientras esperábamos. Tampoco decepcionado. Elegante nivel de especias calientes envueltas en pequeños paquetes de amor. Vendremos de nuevo a probar la red, y muy probablemente los desiertos. Gracias a todo el personal.

The food is great, especially the bread. The staff are very warm and the atmosphere is nice. I recommend it to everyone.

Absolute favourite over the last couple of years in EK. Quite unassuming; but cannot recommend enough. Service is as friendly as you can ask for, but the food is just another level. This is our go-to eat out treat, and also the odd take-away. All the Indian classics, but with the Nepalese take also; if you like Indian, you can have the same journey, but down a Nepalese road. We order different dishes every visit. And always left with a ‘glad I ordered that’ feeling. Have to recommend the chilli momos (can order stater or main portions, and there is a lightweight version too). They take longer to make (so order with the drinks); but if you like spice and flavour combo… you will be crying happy, no lie. When you find that chilli, you’ll understand. 👌🏻 Do it. Just do it.

Best Indian Food, Butter chicken was amazing, awesome taste, full of unique aromas and flavours. Everyone in family loved the ordered food. Some unique dishes in menu. Will be ordering them next time. Friendly and Helpful staff. Would definitely be ordering again. Our now rrgular/goto place for Indian curries.

This is one of my local places to go, especially for the weekend lunch. The food is always fresh, of excellent quality and the service is absolutely impeccable. Can't praise them enough. A very nice place for a family meal.

Nice Experience, Had a dinner with family, Excellent Service and Very good behaviour. Food was tasty with proper Indian style. Many Vegetarian options are available.

Very friendly staff,if going go hungry large portions all very nice,I had the Lamb Lasun & Khursani,wow one of the best curries ive had,love the tender lamb & the thick spicy gravy.

At last, somewhere in the EK Village that's not a junk food take away for the schoolies at lunchtime... Staff were polite, presentable, and knowledgeable (did find them a little hard-sell over the phone; I called to ask about allergens and was pressured to order then and there - their loss; only ordered one thing because I did not get a chance to read all of the menu. They also wanted to charge me for a bag, so I told them to keep it so I could get the menu price as advertised). Veg Pakora was nice, not the best, and it did not agree with me for the rest of the day and night. Restaurant itself was clean and had a good atmosphere.

Nice food.. must try chilli momos.. Ordered all veg dishes... Customised Nepali curry for veg specially for us... Paneer tikka was good too.. Since we requested nothing came sweet... On our request it was made spicy.. Approx 50£ -60£ for 4 people with 5 starters.. 2 main currys

We go to the Kathmandu every Friday for lunch. We are never disappointed with the menu, the service,a very friendly young man who looks after you. Excellent.

Fabulous food and great prices. I didn't get to eat all my Lamb Kharahi as my wife loved it so much. A new favourite.

What an awesome place, with awesome Nepalise food and staff. I'm sat here totally busted, portions are excellent and great value too, I had the curried goat with an unpronounceable name and rice, Jenny had sherpa curry with rice and Tyrone had Chicken Bhuna with rice, we had naans and chapattis, and before our main meal we had poppadoms with three different pickles, absolutely excellent in every aspect.

My wife and I passed this restaurant a number of times but tonight decided to give it a go. A mixture of traditional Indian and Nepalese food. We have never tried Nepalese food before and all the dishes sounded delicious. My wife who is quite fussy when it comes to food had a number of questions and the staff were happy to help and suggest some alternatives. The food was absolutely fantastic, well cooked and well presented. We enjoyed the meal so much we bought some gift vouchers for some friends so we had an excuse to go back again. If you enjoy Indian food but are looking for something a bit different then this is the place for you

The food was delicious specially the fish pakora and lamb hotopot. The mango lassi was tasty too. I would like to specially mention the hospitality by the team. Must visit for a cozy dinner in Village.

Our new favourite restaurant, 3rd visit and food is simply superb. Perfect pakora, spring roll. Best naan, choice is excellent and all so fresh prepared, I love taking leftovers home to freeze for a wee treat one night. Top class friendly service and can't recommend highly enough.

The service is always great in here, the staff can't do enough for you. Food was great, we got the set meal which was very reasonable for the amount that we all got. If you haven't tried this place for food and are considering going do it, I would definitely recommend.

I came into to restaurants with my family and was greeted by lovely staff, the food was so delicious and rich in ingredients, my family all enjoyed the food too and we will be coming back soon, also thier curries are the best in East Kilbride

This restaurant really is first class. Over the years we’ve tried many restaurants. Quite honestly we are not the easiest to please. Yet here we not only recommend others to try but also return regularly ourselves. The staff there are so caring,helpful,friendly and efficient that we can’t see how anyone could not recognise the quality of this Nepalese restaurant. Staff constantly check meal is to your liking. The garlic Nan is always cooked to perfection crispy yet not overdone with just the right amount of garlic too, the Pilau rice always tastes so freshly made. Chandari chicken starter is one we overhear being ordered by others repeatedly. Haggis, chicken or mushroom pakora all leave us struggling to make our choice. Mains of Sagg and dhansac are just indescribably delicious as is the bhuna, garlic chili chicken and rogan josh. I could go on and on. We like too how they cater for all tastes and will alter a dish to suit every individuals preference and cater gluten free too. To accompany meals the men have found a bottled Kathmandu 660ml just hits the spot. Can’t seem to buy this lager anywhere else. (We are told it’s only Kathmandu chain which sells it) which only shows the men have tried to source it and that speaks for itself too. Lol. We do wish you all success in your business as you deserve it more than most as we see you constantly striving to please all your customers. Thank you.

Worst service ever. Waited over an hour for main course. Eventually we asked for bill and left without eating. No apology, no acceptance of failures. Will not be back and this restaurant should be ashamed of themselves.

First time at this restaurant and I will definitely be back. Food was amazing, and they have an entire section for Nepalese specialities. My daughter had the Chicken Saag, and I had the Khasi Ko Masu, which is a medium spiced goat curry dish, both of which I would highly recommend. If you’re not adventurous they do have all your standard Indian dishes too. Could not fault the service.

Lovely welcoming, warm atmosphere with attentive staff. Meal was nice but quite Indian focussed. Not really ‘fusion’ as you would find in PF Chang’s for example but fresh and tasty nonetheless.

Decided to try Kathmandu at the weekend there for a family meal for mum's retirement. With mixed company with different tastes, Kathmandu catered for all. Myself, I had the mix pakora followed by the goat curry, I was very pleasantly surprised at how lovely it was, the meat was cooked perfectly. Generous sized portions which left me absolutely stuffed. We will definitely be going back again soon. Amongst our group, we did not have 1 bad word to say about our diving experience

Had a fantastic dinner last night.Chicken pakora and haggis pakora starters.Sauce was amazing.Lamb bhoona and chicken korma for mains.Great portions and really tasty food.Add a bottle of wine and a couple of kingfishers and total bill under 60 quid.Ate from the set menu but will try some Nepalese items next time.Staff lovely and friendly. We will definitely return.

Fantastic meal delicious thanks

Fantastic service from the staff. Drinks are very reasonably priced. The food is actually amazing. The chilli paneer starter and honey chilli chicken are our favourites. The lamb bhoona melts in your mouth! We always try the Nepalese curries too ! Fantastic treasure in the heart of the village

We had a party of 8 people and everyone enjoyed their meal. We had phoned ahead to ask if they could provide fish and chips for my 93 Yr old Mum, who doesn't eat spicy food. She was delighted with the 2 huge pieces of fish and chips that she received. Nice place, great food, lovely staff 10/10!

Popped in as recommended by family and absolutely didn't disappoint. The service and food was superb. We were immediately seated and drinks orders taken. We opted for the lunchtime menu whereby two courses were £8.95 which after eating the quality of food was an absolute bargain. The starters arrived quickly and we're piping hot beautifully presented and extremely tasty. With the starters still tingling in our mouths the main courses arrived and were again piping hot, generous portions and were well presented and again absolutely delicious. Our waiter was fabulous a lovely gentleman whom kept checking we were happy with our food by giving thumbs up as we were clearly enjoying the food! I would highly recommend Kathmandu fusion for quality good value food and fabulous service. Try it you won't be disappointed.

We were met by a friendly respectful waiter who reassured us the food was 1st class.This is an excellent find ,food in top class bracket and wonderful service.We have already made recommendations to some of our friends and will definitely be back. we've eaten here a few times now and have tried something different each time and they've all been very tasty. The dish that sticks out was the lamb hot pot. So not what you expect but unbelievably good.

I have been going here for lunches regularly with family. The food is outstanding and great value for money. The lunch menu at the weekends is such great value and huge portions. However it’s the staff who are so lovely too that makes us come back again and again. As expected the word has obviously spread about how good it is so I would recommend booking a table as it was full on Saturday when we were in.

The best meal we have had in a long time. So tasty. This place is a hidden gem. We will be back next week for more gorgeous food 😋 😍

Food was excellent and plentiful

We do eat here often and just feel have again to say how fortunate we are to have this Indian restaurant in our local area. Owner is so attentive and actually cares about your enjoyment of his food. Nan bread is delicious especially the garlic. Husband discovered Chandari chicken starter and looks forward to his starter as much as his main. He enjoys his draught kingfisher too. Haggis pakora is really good. Think if more people knew of the standard of food ,drinks, cleanliness and friendliness of staff then it’d be overrun. Lol. It’s not a big restaurant so has a great cosy relaxing friendly feel to it. If you haven’t tried it and like Indian food then would recommend. Prices are really fair and lunch (Friday and Saturdays only) is great value.

This is our new favourite restaurant. We ordered a takeaway and it was absolutely amazing. Every dish was delicious, piping hot and fresh. My daughter picked the food up and said the staff were lovely and very friendly. Can’t wait to try other dishes and will definitely visit again soon.

First visit to the restaurant today. Was a bit concerned that my party of 4 were the only diners present on a Sunday evening but their take away business seemed to be very busy. Nevertheless, the food was excellent and the two waitresses were so polite and respectful. The restaurant itself was clean, bright with a modern decor. Couldn’t fault any aspect of the service and I’ll certainly return again. Well done Kathmandu.
