Outstanding great service, food is best Indian you will ever get. We had chicken and lamb Tikka both melt in the mouth and so fresh. The sauce perfectly spiced to compliment the meat. The staff are so attentive and friendly. We had sharing platter to start and it was fantastic. A complete 5 🌟 experience

Went on a Saturday night for buffet as tt had been getting good reviews. Price reasonable but overall a little let down. All food was good quality, starters and mains reasonable choice, desserts and tea and coffee not up to scratch. Chicken and vegetable pakora cold, initially told to wait as starters were getting made fresh, not these. Nan bread and garlic nan also hard as they had been sitting, when fresh stuff came out it was good. Desserts not much choice 2 ice creams and couple of cakes and some sauce for ice cream, tea and coffee was, kettle cups tea bags sachets of coffee, (do it yourself)I know it's self service but not what I expected. Wife did comment to staff regards pakora being cold, staff did apologise and said we should have made them aware of it at time, maybe but should not too, plenty of staff to keep an eye on it, as for the nan bread stevie wonder could have seen it was by its best. Overall disappointing as staff very friendly and worked hard to be let down with couple of silly mistakes. So only 4 star.

Picked this place based on the good reviews and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent. The services was good and the staff especially Kisna were very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Our 1st visit. Absolutely fantastic. Food was delicious. Excellent service from Pav and the rest of the team. Mixed platter to share was superb, as were the Mains of chicken tandoori and lamb ghosht. Highly recommend and will return.

This was an amazing experience from the starter to the main course. Pav and the staff were wonderful! They went out of their way in any way they could.

This was our first time at Kantipur but won't be our last! We ordered from the menu but did have the choice of a buffet too, maybe next time. Staff were super friendly and attentive, especially Damu. Nothing was too much bother. Please don't be put off by the exterior, as the car park is pothole city and there's a boarded up pub beside it. Once you're inside, you forget all about that. Drinks are reasonably priced and our meal portion sizes were epic 👌

Our first time at Kantipur, and what a treat it was. Staff were super friendly, particularly Dipak, and talked us through the different dishes on offer . Both meals were absolutely delicious, accompanied by the lightest pilau rice I've ever eaten , and delightful light and tasty naan bread. If you've not been yet - you must go. We'll definitely be back !

Had a lovely meal here. The best pakora ever. Golden fluffy and delicious. Dipak was delightful and made us feel very welcome. It was obvious from other clientele comments as they were leaving, that they were regulars. 5.30 on a Sunday evening, and the place was busy with happy people. We will definitely be back

Decided on a change of venue for our friends get together and couldn't have been more impressed. These guys know how to do food! from the quality of the dishes to the level of service I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Will definitely be back!

We visited on a recommendation from a family member and were not disappointed. The food was excellent, and it’s clear to see why they have recently won an award from Scottish Asian Food. We Received attentive service from Di Pak, and we’re looking forward to trying the buffet the next time.

My partner seen the Kantipur advertising its buffet on instagram and it looked fantastic, we stay only 5 minutes away so its a perfect place for us. The food was outstanding, ive tried a lot of buffets, especially indian and while a lot of them didn't disappoint, the Kantipur was above that, the starters were very very fresh and great tasting, the mains were both excellent choice and again superb tasting, The choices were great as well, including vegetarian dishes for my partner. And the staff couldnt be more helpful, the minute you walk in they are always available to clear your table, offer food advice, take drink orders etc, but they werent overbearing and you felt you had your own space etc. We will definitely be back, abd regularly as well given its location for us, i urge anyone who enjoys asian and Indian food to try the Kantipur, you wont be disappointed.

First visit to the Kantipur and won’t be the last. Very friendly service, really good quality buffet food. Chicken pakora was delicious, as were the samosa’s, tasted homemade. About 10/12 choices of main choices. Plus different rices, noodles and ma’am bread. Choice of desserts and tea/coffee too. House wine was lovely and good value.

We were in Uddingston visiting for work and Kantipur was recommended to us. We went for the buffet option which was outstanding. There was a variety of starters that were regularly topped up and hot. You could choose from chicken tika, chicken wings, a variety of pakoras and more. Main courses there was about 6 different curries to chose from, we tried all off them and loved them all. When we come back to Uddingston we will be coming here again.
