Yasmins Fine Indian Cuisine in South Ayrshire

We had a takeaway.Two main and Two rice,boiled,and egg fried rice.with breaded mushrooms. If you sit in very smart and good staff.

We had a family meal here last night and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our meal and the service. We had booked a table and arrived on time, we were initially disappointed to be seated at the table beside the door which was jarred open and the owner/front of house noticed our concern and advised that he could shut the door if we wanted. It was an extremely busy night with full tables and the takeaway service was really busy. All the staff were really attentive and we frequently commented on how friendly everyone was and that clearly lots of regulars visited which was a good sign. There were 5 of us and we all had something different and we all really enjoyed our meal. The quality of the meat was great. We spent 2 1/2 hours and we never felt that we couldn’t have stayed longer if we wanted to. The owner really knew his restaurant because the front door was never closed and we all felt really comfortable and not once did we feel cold. We would have felt too hot with it closed and all the people. We arrived as strangers but left feeling that we were friends. This is a rare experience and while we were waiting outside for our lift the owner came out to check we were ok. I got the impression that he made everyone who visited his restaurant feel like they were part of his family. We will return, my meal was fantastic.

Popped in as passing; not disappointed at all. Friendly service, happy to make changes as we were veggie and food tasty and served within quick time. The only negative is that I live 400 miles away, or I'd be here all the time. Cracking.

My daughter has a milk intolerance and they were careful to advise us and prepare dairy free meals. Very kind staff and food is absolutely delicious. Looking forward to ordering from here again the next time I visit the area.

We were given the name Yasmin’s as a recommendation before heading on a recent trip to Girvan and we definitely were not disappointed!! We called in to order takeaway as we’d just arrived and did not want to cook or eat in the restaurant and we were invited in to browse the menu and take our time, we were even offered the chance to rest and enjoy a pint while we browsed and we were given some local tourist information about places to visit in the area. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, especially when informed of my awkward food allergies!! They afforded me every consideration, the chef even came out to discuss them with me and they made me my choice of curry with alternative ingredients and it was delicious! I only wish there was a Yasmin’s closer to home.

This was our first visit to Yasmin Fine Indian Cuisine in Girvan, which came highly recommended by a friend, and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and full of flavour. The owner was incredibly welcoming, and the staff were attentive throughout the meal. We will definitely be returning!

Excellent service and amazing food delivery was amazing 40 minutes 30 minutes later delivered food lovely Excellent value chicken kebab meal £10.95 now that's chicken kebab on a nan bread chips dips and salad for one me and my wife share and ther is food left over highly recommend 5 stars

I visited on a midweek evening and the restaurant was reasonably busy for a small town and I hadn't book, although was seated immediately and served very quickly. Very warm welcome from all staff, especially the manager who shared his back story (we came from the same neck of the woods). The curry was lovely, as is often the case at an Indian or Asian restaurant, however what made this 5/5 was the quality of the meat. I had a lamb curry and rather than dry meat, this was succulent and fresh. Can pay card or cash.

Just been to collect a takeaway from here as staying near by and the food is incredible! The portions are huge too (got enough here for 3 days!) The service from Pally and the team was fantastic too, really friendly, which just made the whole thing even better! Will defo be back next time I visit.

We've driven through Girvan many times on the way to the ferry, but this time, we were staying the night. Found Yasmin's in google maps and were recommended by a local. What an amazing place. Menu laid out Hot, Medium, Mild. Fantastic selection of traditional meals and European dishes. The food was delicious, the Merlot too. But what really stood out was the service. We're from Scotland but moved away several years ago and have been visiting and eating out for the last few weeks. We'd noticed service has been poor in shops, restaurants and cafés. So many of those being paid to serve the customers stand around chatting or on their phones, leaving you waiting for ages. Not at Yasmin. Greeted at the door, seated, menus given. The head waiter/ manager/owner(??) was so attentive, suggesting drinks, went through the menu, checking all was ok. I could not recommend this restaurant enough, I would move here so it was my local!!!

We've been coming to Yasmins for at least 3 years and always love the food it is amazing we have brought a number of friend who have loved the food. We stay at the motorhome parking at the back of the swimming pool and Yasmins are happy to deliver here too. The staff are great especially Neem who is very helpful to get you exactly what u want to eat. We would definitely recommend Yasmins it is well worth a visit.

Group of friends has been for a number of meals now in recent months. Every time food is delicious, service and customer care amazing and lovely atmosphere. Treated like family. They also recently contributed to a charity fundraiser. Can't wait to go back and can't recommend enough.

Onion bhajis were the best I’ve had and the curry I had which was the special was very good naan bread was good. My only disappointment was the Bombay potatoes the sauce was too sweet and not spiced. But would definitely recommend and will be back

One of the best Indian food we've had! Stay in Maybole, so expected a longer delivery time. Arrived just over an hour after ordering. Free spiced onions and poppadoms. Mains were outstanding! (Chicken Korma and South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken, pilau rice, naan bread, and chapatis). Will defo be back!!

I recently dined at Yasmins Fine Indian Cuisine. While the staff were very respectful and helpful, I found the flavors to be somewhat lacking compared to other Indian restaurants I've visited. The dishes didn't quite meet my expectations in terms of authenticity and richness of taste. Despite the pleasant atmosphere and excellent service, the food itself fell short for me. Over priced..

What fantastic food. Had 4 curries. Can't fault one of them. Starter for 4 was huge and curries were all very generous and full of flavour. Each one tasted different . Poppadoms very light and naans so fresh. Very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend. People serving were lovely and so friendly.

Had a great evening at Yasmins. There were 8 of us so we took a while to decide what we wanted & to order but the staff were so patient & helpful. The food was really tasty - we shared the mixed started which came with plenty of pickles etc. I had the medium 'recommended' dish which was excellent, and my friend & I shared a portion of rice. Good value, good vibe & friendly staff - one took our photo at the end which we appreciated. Would happily eat there again & recommend to others - but remember to book at the weekend as it gets busy.

First visit and it won't be the last. Good, easy to follow menu, great friendly service and the food certainly didn't dissopoint. Well spiced, very tasty food. Everything was excellent. Very impressed with the sharing platter starters. Great value. Will definitely be back.

This is the best eatery I have been to in years. The food was absolutely divine.

This was a great restaurant. I had arranged to meet my Grandaughter who was running late. Normally I would feel awkward sitting on my own but the staff immediately made me feel as ease with their friendly demeanor. The food was absolutely beautiful. I can honestly say it was the best bhoona I've ever tasted. I come to Girvan a few times a year and Yasmins will now be my restuarant of choice. Oh and the prices are so reasonable.

Rang and ordered for collection. Very friendly staff. Was greeted upon entering restaurant and they went staight away to bring food. Seemed quiet inside but nice atmosphere. Good was well packaged to takeaway. The food was hot and fresh. Very different to what we would normally get from our local indians in England as the sauces all seem like a prepared sauce with no iniojs etc just a puree. Tasted ok. Naan bread was quite greasy and chips frozen chips that had been quick fried.

Fantastic..enormous portions of flavour filled food..the use of herbs and spices is definitely a family feel of love added.. Staff were so I interested in us and chatted as well as bringing other staff to meet us.. We loved it and will be making it our home base for entertaining friends and family.

Not a good experience 😕 but staff were really good. Looked great from outside, matched with pleasant interior. Just let down by standard of food.

Welcomed and accommodated the moment I walk through the door. Ordered a prawn cocktail as a starter. I enjoyed it and it was a generous portion too. For main I had the Chicken Tikka Garam Masala, garlic nan bread. Absolutely delicious and it has to be one of the best I’ve had. As the Terminator said, “I’ll be back” Thanks for a great meal. I was amazed to hear that many people from Stranraer order take aways from here it is over 20 miles away, that has to say something about the quality of the food.

Visited during our stay at turnberry last weekend, the service was excellent staff so friendly and the food was absolutely to die for, best Indian meal we have ever had! Price was also very good. Considering the 3 hour round trip just for another meal lol! Will definitely be back.

Needing an Indian to spice up our holiday, this was the best rated one and it's obvious to see why. Friendly staff, delicious and generous quantity portions. We branched out from our usual and it paid off. Highly highly recommend!

Was recommended this place as we weren't local and it was 1 of thee best curries we have had in a very long time, if we could have eaten 1 every night we would have,the chicken bhuna was delicious, huge portions and arrived hot. My wife and I have been to Yasmins several times and have never been disappointed, the service is first class the staff are very attentive and friendly and nothing is to much for them, the food is excellent and the portions are generous,we have a caravan in the area and we are regular diners, we would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Girvan or just passing through.

Our Very First Visit to this Excellent Establishment and, it didn't disappoint us. All 3 Meal's were definitely The Best we have tasted in a Very Long Time. Very Attentive and Well Mannered Staff just added to Us All having a Wonderful Experience. Came away with their Takeaway Menu's so we can sample more of their Exceptional Food Choices. Great meal again here tonight. Chicken pakora starter was fantastic & the South Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken was superb, bursting with flavours and a very big kick to to it. Rice, naan & chips were to brilliant.

First time in the area, going off local recommendation. We ordered a takeaway, it was reasonably priced, the food was wonderfully aromatic and not overpowered by chilli. The portion sizes were ample, the naan was fabulous. If we come back to the area we would be back for a meal.

Food was excellent, service was fantastic and the prices very reasonable. We ordered 4 meals to take away and the portion sizes were generous. Our food was ready at the time they had said and the serving staff were polite, friendly and efficient. I had the chicken chili bhoona which was highly recommended on the menu and was delicious. We will definitely visit again when we are in the area.

Me and my family ordered food from here and were pleasantly surprised. The prices are reasonable and the amount of food you get is lovely. The naan wasn't dry at all, it was like it was baked in gods oven. The chicken was juicy and tender, and the salad was well put together. The sauces were good. The chips were also lovely. 10/10 and we will come again.

Fine Indian cuisine... OMG this has to have been the best Indian food that we have ever eaten. Portions are enormous. Well worth a visit I'd say.
