The best restaurants serving Indian food in West Lothian Edinburgh and Lothian

This was our fourth visit to the Aroma. The service is always good, the staff very friendly and attentive. The food is so fresh and tasty. We have eaten in many Indian restaurants and the Aroma is now one of our favourites. Try it out - your wont be disappointed!

I was recommended by a friend to try this takeaway, I went for the North Indian garlic chicken and my partner had the lamb karahi, with a fish pakora starter and lamb chops, the food was amazing I have never tried better food like this before, the staff are very nice and recommend dishes if you not sure what to get, will definitely be back, will try the Parmesan next as I have heard that is very nice

Es barato y muy buena comida, buenas ofertas demasiado, pizza y un kebab por una fiver en ofertas especiales , uso bastante a menudo!!

Ordered carryout for first time due to good reviews ! The mixed pakora was tasteless and huge portion (I would prefer quality than quantity. Curry was average but the accompanying bread was tasteless and like a soft piece of dough. The price should have represented quality as most expensive carry out I have had in West lothuan

Wasn’t sure about having a meal here because of mixed reviews but I’m really glad I gave it a try. Food was very tasty and cooked very well. Our server was extremely friendly and very helpful with recommendations on what to try and was very understanding on my partners intolerance to too much spice so he recommended a certain dish for her to try which came with a separate sauce which he said would be made extra mild to accommodate her intolerance. Portion sizes were very good and couldn’t finish my meal so took the remainder home. Will definitely be back again

Had a very pleasant evening. Food was delicious. Every dish was excellent . The portions were generous too. And the nan breads were so fluffy. Not much more to say!

Left a similar review before but the lamb rara gosht here is quite simply the best curry I have ever tasted ( and I’ve had a few ) the flavour is amazing , a must try if you visit

Best Indian restaurant in all of West Lothian. We have been in just two of us, in large groups, Christmas Day and take away. Each time the service is always great and food lovely. Only Indian restaurant we eat at.

I have been to many Indian restaurants before but none of them served great service, brilliant food and a beautiful restaurant like bayleaf.i was so shocked with how much flavour was in the food it was amazing!! The manager was very polite and fantastic to talk to. The staff were very helpful they suggested good food ideas such as onion bhaji and much more, definitely visiting this place again. x

As always, delicious food, great service from the moment they picked up the phone to the point of collection. This is the gold standard.

2hrs for a table of 6.very poor when people come in after you served and left before were served our meal.long wait when soft drinks only

Not a sit in, however ordered online before the restaurant stopped taking orders. Received a phone call from the restaurant to say they have rejected the order as their driver finished at 9:15 and they have shut off the gas. Earlier than what their website stipulated! I complained to the person on the phone but to no avail I then receive a call back after this to be sworn at by the person on the phone thinking I hadn’t yet picked up. The call was to say they would do the order and that I was to pay for it again since they had rejected the order!

Ordered large kebabs mine arrived with shredded cabbage and that was it! It should of been with peppers, onions and mushrooms which was the reason I chose that specific kebab but it was just drowned in sauce,a teeny pitta bread and no veg, left me thinking why did I bother. Other family members got donners and the same shredded cabbage was donned on top. Really disappointed in our meal but ultimately has lost them custom as we won't be back.
