The best restaurants serving Indian food in Dundee City Central Scotland

We love Indian food, and here the food was excellent - great choices, great sauces, fresh popadoms and nan - overall one could feel that there was real attention to detail and that owners/staff took pride in their work - in terms of the food presentation, the service, the cleanliness and layout of the bar and restaurant. We had a great dinner as a family and will definitely return. Happy to have found this place.

La comida estaba bien, pero nada especial. Mi solicitud de un curry caliente consistía en un curry mediano con unos chiles secos echados encima. Muy, muy caro, necesita ser rico para comer aquí de forma regular.

Lunch for 2 Absolutely delicious, all cooked from fresh as you order. Steak pie full of beef and macaroni was delicious Great service and great price

Food is absolute fantastic the flavours just burst in your mouth..I don't often leave a review but I thought o ought to..well done!!!

Although the food was delicious, the service was poor, staff seemed inexperienced. Family member asked for 2 vodkas and a can of diet coke and received a large glass of diet coke, when corrected, she received a double vodka with diet coke. Server spilled chutney on our table, she apologised but did not wipe it up. Family member asked for peppermint tea and received 3 pots. Several family members ordered after dinner drinks, served asked each individual how they wanted it, we mostly asked for one cube of ice, we received none and one of our group received a Tia Maria in a warm glass, then a second one arrived (we were not charged for the 2nd).

Very nice place, great food and the staff were very friendly. I would highly recommend this place for a very nice curry.

Attended private function. The room smelled a bit foosty. The bar staff had no idea! Didn't pay the same price for a round. £3 for a can of coke and the 'Prosecco' was rank.

First time I ordered 12 years ago found a huge dead fly on my pizza hidden under the cheese luckily I spotted it, I never came back again, it's under new management but put me off for life!

The waitresses were not keen to see people, they should be taught the science of serving people. They were just throwing the food on the table like they didn’t care. Either lack of guidance or a lack of will to work was behind this. Food was good as we all know Nando’s ways, just that the service time was so long. It took them around 20 mins to give away simple dessert with ice cream which should take minutes and the waitress threw that in table. They should be taught the politeness needed for serving food. I like to tip for the hard work most of the time but there were none. I hope the brand like Nando’s should look into this. Brilliant food, interior but zero service..

Don't expect a 4 star at all. Large room, small bed, bathroom with window, all on the second floor with a very narrow and steep staircase, not the best with suitcases. Carpet on the stairs tattered in several places. The staff were very kind and the breakfast was good, not excellent. Too much money paid for this room. Too many.

Great wee local takeaway and pretty affordable at £14 for a 12” munchy Box and the tandoori chicken was packed with flavour. Only deduction is that the doner meat and pita bread were cold and chewy when served. Would definitely come back to try their wraps and curries which are highly recommended.
