We ordered from goa normally great food but tonight everything was cold and took near 2 hrs terrible service

Amazing food and good friendly driver, would absolutely order again.

My Goa meal was absolutely delicious as usual, today was my second this week just because the meals are consistently great, delivered piping hot by nice delivery drivers

This was my second time at Goa. Food is absolutely exceptional as is the service. We asked for a photo as we were celebrating our 6th anniversary, the staff obliged and we were given a complimentary bottle of prosecco. Service is second to none, food is excellent. Have recommended this place to family and friends already, and can't recommend them enough. Look forward to my next visit where I try my best not to, but completely overeat.

Food was AMAZING! Did us two nights. Delivery was later than they said but worth the wait!

I ended up having to leave my family and a guest who I haven’t seen for three years to collect my delivery from in the restaurant

As always my meal was delicious and delivered within the time I was given and piping hot and by the usual nice delivery man

Our delivery was just under 45mins late. Issues with the till linking to just rear but not communication from the restaurant to say it was going to be late. We had to call for this information. This is the second time we have had to wait much longer than advised when ordering. When it arrived we had vegetables pakora instead of chicken that was ordered. However the food was tasty as always.

I always order from Goa. Even though not in my area it's delivered early. The food is delicious, great quality . Very good prices too!

Food quality was good but the app stated my order had been delivered on time when infact it hadn't. We phoned the restaurant but they just kept saying it was on its way and offered no apology. It was eventually delivered 30 min late. We placed our order at 1840 and didn't receive it till 2045. 2 hours is not good enough. I would like to know why we were told our order had been delivered when it wasn't even on its way.

I spent my birthday here, very welcoming and great food.

The best Indian food I have ever had!! Tandoori mixed grill was unbelievable and the saag Dalh was so good! The service is always 10/10 in Goa, the friendliest staff in broughty ferry for sure! We can’t wait to return!!

BEST RESTAURANT Food and service here is absolutely brilliant. The food is top tier, and very accommodating. The service is brilliant, always checking for drinks and water on table etc. You can see from all our empty plates how lovely this was. Each person who came to the meal was asked to describe the experience in one word. The results were: Beautiful Gorgeous Fast service Suuuuperb Sensational Tasty!

Visitamos Goa para la cena. Mesa para 4 sin ninguna reserva previa, no es un problema. El aparcamiento puede ser un desafío, pero tuvimos la suerte de haber encontrado un lugar cerca de Goa. Aparcamiento. Restaurante en la planta 1 de la calle (usuario de silla de ruedas puede encontrar dificultades). Limpieza, bien. Personal, eficiente. Comida, sabrosa. Ambiente, estaba bien. Aseo, buena limpieza. ¿Lo disfrutamos? -Sí. ¿Recomendamos? De todo corazón, sí.

Ordered chicken Tikka Masala, which we’ve ordered before. Very disappointing. It wasn’t creamy, it was wet. Phoned and complained. To their credit, they delivered another. 30 minutes late with original delivery. Surprised, because it was the first delivery of the night.

Once again my meal was superb!! I can’t change what I say every week because the Goa’s food is so delicious, delivered on time and piping hot by the nicest delivery drivers 😊

Just eat app said 'Pickup Ready' so i went to collect. Showed the person my order and said my name, he said to wait as it wasn't ready. 15 minutes later he looked in a bag, that had been there all the time, there was my order, he didn't say sorry.

We came to Goa for a birthday meal, first time we have been here, a party of eight, including two young people. The food is incredible, and we were actively encouraged not to over order, which really impressed us. The service was excellent, the staff were accommodating and super friendly. Without any prompting, the staff dipped the lights and came out with two slices of cheese cake, a candle in each, and sang happy birthday! It was really lovely.

Disappointed, usually enjoy Goa, Tikka masala was like Heinz tomato soup and chapattis were stale (threw them out) .

Delivery driver was really friendly and very apologetic but the food had clearly been sitting sweating in the bag for ages. Soggy lukewarm food really wasn’t great. Goa is amazing as a sit in restaurant but they just can seem to get take aways right at all. Shame as their food is normally amazing.

We received a flyer advertising Goa in Broughty Ferry. After years of regular meals from Bombay Joes we thought we'd try Goa. I ordered a takeaway for delivery. And was given a time of 7:55pm expecting somewhere between 7:50pm and maybe 8:15pm. I called at 8:35pm asking where our meal was, I could hardly hear the person on the phone due to loud background noise. He told me the takeaway was ready and waiting for a driver, assuring me that it would still be hot, he then said the driver had arrived. We are only a 3, maybe 4 minute drive from the restaurant. Almost 15 minutes later the meals arrived. They were very average, barely warm and cold nann bread. We won't be back.

Appalling collection - order not prepared on time despite 1.5 hr notice, noone asked my name and it was brought out and dumped without telling me - shambolic! Food very good but I’ll be off to Bombay Joes next time.

Excellent restaurant! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and very generous portions. They even gave us 2 extra poppadoms on the house. Highly recommend!!

We travel across to Broughty Ferry monthly from Perthshire and part of the joy of our visit are special trips to Goa. From stepping through the door the experience and the food is nothing short of outstanding together with the warm familiar welcome we receive from the attentive and courteous team there. From our Popadums and zingy Pickle Tray to Kebabs and the deliciously piquant Lamb Chops to our favourites - Moonlit and Butter Chicken together with superb Roti and crispy Paratha - the food experience is a journey of amazing flavours and deliciously satisfying high quality produce cooked to perfection to traditional recipes. The Team know us well now and remember our favourites, which makes ordering simple as we start our gastronomic journey!! Service is prompt, attentive and courteous and nothing is too much trouble - even to packing up the remainder of our meal - which we refer to as 'Treasure’ - to take home to have for supper the next evening!! A delicious treat to enjoy after the event! Thank you Goa for the wonderful food and dining experiences we've shared with you so far - we look forward to many more. Exceptional Food - Exceptional People - Exceptional Quality & Value worth every penny!!!

Once again we have had another nice meal tonight. I had the jumbo prawn korma with coconut rice and it was beautiful and so tasty. We also had the sharing platter and that was really tasty. We also had a garlic nan, pershawri nan and poppadoms with salsa and mango chuckney and it was so tasty. The staff were lovely and attentive.

Rubbish day at work madras proper nan life could be worse. High light of my week 👍

My family and I have been here several times and we have always loved all the meals as well as the friendly staff. Good portions with rich flavours that never stop surprising us. There are plenty of gluten-free options and for other intolerances as well. Highly recommend it!

BE CAREFUL _ THE STAFF STEAL - we were with a group of freinds and property of my wifes was stolen by a member of staff. The restuarant owner did nothing about it and we were constantly fobbed off and they didnt care about it, retrurn phone calls or show any concern . Very dishonourable.

Goa is absolutely fantastic. We are regulars and it is the go to restaurant for when we have friends and family visiting. The starters and main courses are delicious, and the service is faultless (you’re never waiting long at all). Very good value for money. It can be busy at the weekend because it is so good, so you should phone or book ahead in advance. Ignore any reviews of less than 5 stars!

There is a warm friendly atmosphere in Goa. Staff are all superb. It is our and our family's favourite place to eat. Food is always delicious. We can not fault it in any way.

Visited GOA twice this week, food and service was exquisite, there is nothing we could fault with the meals. Would highly recommend.

Tried booking for Saturday 3rd August online. There was availability at 6pm. No response from Goa. Phoned to confirm, only to be told that they had no tables. No point in offering time slots online if they have no availability. Very disappointing.

Indian food the way I like it in a restaurant full of locals, great atmosphere with plenty of laughter.

Called impromptu to request a table for 2 for Saturday evening. We were told that one would be available at 8.30pm, so we waited the two hours and drove into the ferry, but when we arrived, the restaurant was completely full, and looked very cramped and noisy. The waiter told us that it would be at least a 15 minute wait as they were running behind time. Before we could reply he left us to serve another customer and didn't return. We sat in the seating area for a while but weren't acknowledged, so we left and went to Bombay Joe's instead, who thankfully had a table available, where we had a fabulous meal and were very well attended to. We won't be back to Goa, as this is not the first time this situation has happened, but we've given the benefit of doubt previously. Poor organisation on management's part We cannot comment on the food in this instance, but the whole scenario was just disappointing.

We ordered a carry out at 6.40 and we're told it would be an hour for collection. We duly turned up at 7.40 and were told they were running a bit late. We waited and waited and choas ensued. People were turning up for booked tables and were told they would have to wait for 45 mins for a table. We saw 2 lots of 6 people walk away rather than wait. Food for delivery was sitting in bags for at least 20 minutes before being taken away. Eventually at 8.40 , 2 hours after ordering our carry out was ready. I complained that they shouldn't say an hour for collection if they know they can't deliver. I for one won't use them again. They don't really care as they are so busy.

First time trying GOA and the food was fantastic, my partner said the Madras was hot and done properly. Everything arrived on time and piping hot, well worth the money, we'll definitely be ordering again

Mains warm but good, starters mild, had to reheat and lost its texture. Called restaurant about late delivery and they just said they were busy.

So completely and utterly disappointed with tonight’s meal. We have been loyal Goa customers for a very long time. We often order take away, come in for meals and buy vouchers for family members. Ordered our takeaway tonight and my husband drove the 20 minutes from our home to collect it. He arrived home and we found there were items missing. Chips, salad etc We called to advise and were asked if we could come back for them. We said we could but we live 20 minutes away so asked if a fresh curry could be prepared as the original one would be freezing and 40 minutes old by the time we came back home. The man who we spoke to on the phone had a really terrible and argumentative attitude. They point blank refused to provide fresh curries - despite the fact this was their mistake. We were given 2 options - come and pick up the chips and other items we had paid for but they had forgotten and come back to a cold old curry or pay £30 for a curry and eat it with half it missing ?! Basically like it or lump it. Mistakes happen, that is not an issue but as a business you should rectify it. We will not be back. Years of loyalty to be treated like that. Awful. To top it off we told them to leave it - we will make do and not be returning. The rice was all clumped together and chewy and the curry was disappointing.

Was recommended to try Goa by several people. Can honestly say this is the nicest Indian takeaway I've had in about a decade. Well worth the extra 10 minutes to broughty ferry to get it. Special shout out to the korma sauce and fish pakoras.
