Lunch for 2 Absolutely delicious, all cooked from fresh as you order. Steak pie full of beef and macaroni was delicious Great service and great price

An Indian restaurant with a difference. Housed in an old Victorian villa overlooking the Ferry Road, the harbour and the Fife coast, it feels like dining in someone's home. The food was really good with lots of it. The staff were pleasant and attentive. Cannot comment on the rooms as our visit was for lunch only.

This is a review regarding the Tayview's Indian takeaway which, I have to say, is AMAZING. The food arrives hot (well wrapped in tin foil) at the time stated and the delivery driver is friendly and polite. I can't fault the food in the slightest. Cooked to perfection and of consistent quality, great value for money and generous portions. I thoroughly recommend the Tayvew and I won't go anywhere else.

Amazing!!!! Best Indian food so far we have tasted in UK, honestly!!! We had ordered samosas, paneer chilli, paneer butter masala, tandoori roti, tandoori chicken, dal makhni some wine. All 5 star be it price or taste. Would recommend! In fact we order every week from here and it is fantastic!

Disgusting behaviour and attitude of the person who picked up the phone. Had no manners and was throwing attitude for no reason. It’s been over an hour we did not receive the order and we politely called and received disrespectful service

Guys, I've gotta tell you about this amazing lamb biryani I tried! I've ordered it more than three times from this restaurant through delivery apps, and every single time, it blows my mind. I've explored Indian cuisine all over the place, but this biryani is next level! The flavors are perfectly balanced, and the meat is incredibly tender. I had to look up the restaurant just so I could share this review – they really deserve the love! Plus, every time I order, they throw in a sweet discount or offer. How awesome is that? I'm definitely planning to visit the restaurant in person soon. Do yourself a favor and try this lamb biryani with the yogurt sauce and the onion sauce – you can thank me later! 😍

The Indian food was very good. All served in a traditional way. Ensuvai was ower server and she was very friendly. Over all we had a lovely time.

The food is top class, my favourite Indian restaurant in Dundee. I would highly recommend the Egyptian kebab but you won’t be disappointed whatever you order. The portions are big so make sure you’re hungry before you go. The staff are friendly, efficient and very attentive.

Had a family get together Ensuvai was very helpful and attentive ,food and drink for 19 was very reasonable, all the plates were emptied

Friends had recommended the Indian cuisine in a venue not the usual city centre type, but two traditional hotel lounge tooms with river views. Even the starters were attractively presented. Service was friendly & efficient & charming, especially Ruby! Desserts included 2 Indian ones.

This time I tried Paneer Tikka Kebab with egg fried rice. It was really good. Me and my friends enjoyed the dinner. Worth it..Quality food, Reasonable price, good ambience, friendly service...Will definitely come back soon.

I've tried a lot of Indian restaurants but this is the best in my opinion. Best vindaloo. The naan bread is amazing and the starters fantastic. Check it out.

Tried Tayview Hotel for the very first time and we all had a very nice meal definitely the best indian we have tasted in Dundee and we will definitely be back! Axa our waiter was very nice and friendly and a credit to the restaurant.

Just got a delivery , time bang on , food is nice - bit cold - but at the price of £33 for two curries and rice with no added on extras - cheeky garlic nan was extremely expensive plus one curry was a tad shy of being filled to the top! Would I order again ?probably not - sorry

We were at restaurant celebrating a 40th birthday with family and friends. Food was excellent as was the service a big thank you to Aska and staff (I hope I have spelled your name right). If your are looking for excellent Indian Food you can't go wrong

The food was delicious and the service was flawless. Loved the chettinad chicken curry with garlic naan bread. The gulab jamun with vanilla ice cream was the best part of our meal. Would definitely recommend if you’re into real Indian food.

Food, drinks and service was really good. Especially lamb biriyani. Though it's a bit far from the city center, a really good Indian restaurant. Free parking available. (Usually gets a spot) The location was a bit confusing for the first time.

Arrived for lunch,been quiet a few times,and it didn’t disappoint,2 course lunch and it was excellent,staff always very friendly,burger and sticky toffee pudding delicious Would recommend

Visited Tayview for the second time only for the Railway Lamb Curry which was mouth watering and relished it all!! Kudos to Satashki for the wonderful gesture and hospitality .

The food and ambience were amazing. Had a lamb biriyani for the first time and it was smashing. Shout out to shatakshi who was really helpful with her suggestions in what to eat. Really friendly. Would definitely recommend to visit and try their food. The bar is always a plus.

I live pretty near to this Indian restaurant and use it for sit in and takeaway. Food is always fab. I would recommend the Egyptian Kebab, Tikka Bhuna. Masala dishes but plenty other meals too. They are all very tasty. Nan breads and rices are brilliant even as a takeaway. Decent prices. Good discount for orderingto direct on their website. Definitely worth a try. You won't be disappointed.

1 star I didn’t want to give any 🌟 but can’t review if none giving , ordered tandoori mix grill for collection on pick up food was cold and burnt to a crisp and sheesh kebab was half eaten food and mould on tomatoes was awful and tasteless won’t be back very disappointed and over priced

Ordered food online for delivery. My order was accepted at 5:20 pm. Order didn't arrive until 7pm. When the food arrived it was stone cold. I ordered onion bhajis which were hard and burnt and my husbands haggis pakoras had what looked like the casing of the haggis inside one of them which was rock hard. My chicken starter was good but cold also. Its been my first time trying this restaurant and am so disappointed. I won't be ordering from here again 😞
