What a place, the food great 👍

Second time, using Chutney,wow,once again outstanding meal,thank you

Main gripe is i ordered a meal for two and you are given 5 small chicken pakoras this is no way enough for two and it was over done, the currys whilst tasty lack the addition of vegetables that most proper Indian restaurants give you, you basically get a sauce and nothing else/no crunch of peppers or anything, its as if the vege’s are blended within the sauce. Wont be back after this, as this is now a few times trying it, such a shame as greatly priced.

Collected a takeaway last night for me and my other half. Can't believe how much food we got and the quality is unreal. I was able to upgrade a few things on the set meal and the owner Nadia even went out of her way to find out the recipe of my favourite curry that had been made up by a previous take away. 10/10 Nadia and the team this is definitely my new go to xx

This was the worst takeaway meal I have ever had it came 3 hrs early so had to heat it up and the chips were so dry even before I heated them up won't be going back that's for certain

Grate food and service find it very hard to get curry due to lactose intolerant Nadia was grate very helpful made me a curry that tasted amazing and lactose free well done and thank you

Service was impeccable and food delicious. Separate salad and sauce were missed from the order (likely due to us phoning to edit something from the just eat app order) Items were delivered in minutes along with a giant bottle of juice... Thank you 😊

Food is always great at Chutney

The worst kebab ive set eyes on. Poly carton was absolutely swimming in grease (around 1/2 inch deep in the bottom) pita bread was like a wet sponge. Absolutely terrible

Chicken balti tikka massala amazing just hot enough for me.

Just ordered set menu for 2,I got Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Kurma honestly got to be the best dishes ever,highly recommend.Thank you Chutney. X

Went in to collect a takeaway we had ordered via telephone when I was advised by a young guy that we couldn't pay by card. After being sent in to the co-op to use their ATM, it wasn't working and neither was the other bank machine in the vicinity, my partner went in asked if we could please pay by card as he had done before. The manager asked him if he wanted the food to which he replied yes since we had ordered it but was unable to pay with card. He was told he was not welcome back after this (for no reason at all) and was called an ar*ehole on his way out. Disgusting service and abusive staff. Get a grip.

Ordered the value deal at £30, there was ample food to go around however,the chicken Korma was basically sauce and rice, no chicken or at very most 2 pieces, very very disappointing, tried this takeaway instead of my usual local one in Broughty Ferry and let's just say I won't be back to Chutney. As the saying goes you get what you pay for I guess. I had high hopes considering it is the Jahangir that owns it, total letdown 😕.

My partner and I went there last night for our dinner and I must say it was fantastic! Extremely good customer service even though all the staff were ran off there feet. Will certainly be recommending this Indian. Thank you for a lovely dinner.

Have just received a delivery and was looking forward to a lovely chicken dupiaza. Contained two very small pieces of chicken and wasn’t even worth eating. Was first time and won’t be back.

Not convinced by this place, maybe I'll try it again but on this visit chips were soggy and hardly any cheese. Kebab ok. Handy as it's local but not up to standard elsewhere in ferry. Pity.

Great naan. Curry's were good when first opened but now resemble boiled onion slurry with occasional meaty floaters. C'mon guys . Raise the game !

Staff very pleasant etc, shame the food was very unpleasant, and that's me being polite. Had Lahori Special Tikka, which resembled lentil soup with chicken tikka through it - really weird and texture was off-putting at best. Lamb Karahi, large chunks of very tough 'lamb' (got my suspicions this was beef) in a tomato based sauce with no discernible flavour, it was like everything was just added to a generic sauce. In the bin. Still starving. Never again.

Ordered the curry naan and pakora special mid week . Costs me like 8 pound well feed service good portion size adequate can't complain.

Set meal for 4 was our choice, £30. More than enough food, well cooked, tasty and overall very enjoyable. Also would like to add the guys behind the counter were polite and friendly, considering this is a take away, and they must have to put up with some nonsense, especially at the weekend, they were very pleasant.

We opted for a takeaway from Chutney and the meal for 2 appeared good value. However we were surprised at the lack of chicken in the curries. Certainly had more on previous occasions especially when newly opened. Hmm. Would consider others before returning. Whilst waiting for my food the employee went to assist with another order. Had to wait for him to finally hand over my food. To be fair there were only another 5 or so workers who could have helped.

It's a nice little takeaway, but don't go on the size of the place, there are plenty of items on the menu and the food is generally good. Some currys are simply awesome! The staff and the owner make you feel welcome and nice gestures here and there gives the impression that customer satisfaction is more important than profit for these guys. Recommended!

The best Indian food for far a field that's fact. But not just the food the staff are 100% friendly and will help with your food requirements to the letter.

Its basically a kebab shop, not a particularly good one at that, food wasn't particularly high quality, staff were quite rude, cash only, no receipts given.... that kind of shop!

Chutney is a takeaway establishment only. The menu is very extensive covering Indian curries, all kinds of kababs, burgers, pizzas and some European dishes. I would say they major on curries and over time I have tried many of them and never been disappointed! They are fabulous! Generous portions and reasonably priced. Take advantage of a meal deal and you get loads more tasty food for less than a basic curry and rice. The chicken tikka is the best I have tasted and standard in most curry dishes. In Summer they were even selling the prepared chicken tikka for cooking on your own home barbecues -not to be missed. Can’t not recommend Chutney for an assured great home meal for yourself or with friends. Their pizzas are also very tasty and generously topped. Work your way through the whole menu and enjoy.

I have been ordering currys from Chutney for some months now. Their food is excellent. I would say you would struggle to get a better curry in Dundee. Always consistent with quality and taste. You will not find better, Rogan Josh is highly recommended.

We ordered online and were given a delivery time of 40 minutes. After an hour, we rang and were told our food was just being cooked and would be delivered asap. Our food arrived 25 minutes later (85 minutes after placing our order). A bottle...

Got another delivery from Chutney. Chicken tikka masala chips rice and garlic naan. Shared with my wife. More than enough to go round. Nothing is to much hassle for these guys. Excellent service and quality of curry is second to none.

I'm not a regular "takeaway eater", but when the mood does take me for a doner pizza, theres only one place for me! Staff are always friendly, and on the odd occasion I have turned up and had had to wait on my order any...
