The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Nothing to criticise, food excellent, service excellent and price good, so glad we have tried here, unfortunately some of our gang couldn't make it, we will definitely be back so they can experience this gem of a restaurant.

Tasty food, great service and nice atmosphere. A regular spot that never disappoints.

Well we didn't go, because it's a takeaway, but Mumbai have been consistently good for maybe a dozen deliveries so far ... and I can't see why we'd stop ordering. OK we walked past once and couldn't resist it, so the jolly crew cooked for us to take home (they're pretty quick)

I live locally and haven’t had a takeaway from here for a couple of years. Sorry to say I won’t be going back for years again. It was a Saturday night treat, just short of £35 to share a basic starter, 2 main curries and share a garlic nan. The Lamb parcel starters were inedible (the one mouthful I had was spat out). The Special Mix Curry was tasty but just 1 piece of lamb, 1 piece of prawn and 2 bits of chicken. The Bombay Surprise was marginally better. The Garlic Naan was lukewarm, although to be honest they never travel well for a takeaway. For the first time ever, from any Indian takeaway when spending that sort of money, no complimentary items, not even papadoms. As I was waiting for the food, I looked at the Xmas Day menu and was wondering whether that might be a thought. Sorry No…. Bah humbug and all that.

Food arrived hot and portion sizes was great. Rly good food and good value. Order was slightly late but that could be the fault of uber eats’s timing estimation. Would recommend.

Really good indian restaurant. Large portions and hot food. Portions so big it could do two people. Lamb bhuna is my go to for here

I hardly think informing you of the over use of salt was a complaint and three stars isn't a bad review iv now amended that review to one star because of your bad customer service. Also, the only time you refunded money was when you charged me twice for the same order then denied it until I proved it by bringing in a bank statement (something that probably happens alot) and just so you know I ordered lastnight through a third party and the food hasn't improved!
