The food is excellent but tonight the delivery which should have been an hour arrived nearly an hour late although we did receive a discount hopefully this was a one off

Very enjoyable tasty Indian food. The king prawn birany was packe with king prawns & chicken tikka mossala was good. I particularly enjoyed the Resmi Kebab starter - spiced minced lamb wrappped in an omlette. HIghly recommended.

Got a takeaway from the Raj of India last night after a menu came through our door. The food was fantastic - best we’ve had since we moved to the area 3 years ago. They were really busy on Saturday, but the standard of the food was excellent.(Also, the lady on the front desk taking the orders deserves a pay rise! She was dealing with multiple phone orders at once as well as walk-ins, and did a great job whilst keeping a good sense of humour. Very pleasant and friendly.)

I absolutely do not want to put them down, Food is amazing, not sure if they have taken on to much, but ordered at 7pm, still waiting know at 8.35, rang my order through to pay by card, ordered and said they would phone me back to accept payment, so after waiting 30 min, I phoned them back, it’s now 8.40, still no food, so if ordering on Saturday suggest you order well and truly before You want it, but food is amazing xxxx oh and Raji mixed starter no onion Bhakti,

An absolutely delightful experience! The wow factor as soon as you walk in! A clean reception with beautiful lighting and safe socially distant seating where you can wait for your pick up food! The team are all extremely friendly and welcoming and will go the extra mile to accommodate any needs. On to the food. If I could give it 10 stars I would! The chef is wonderful! The flavours and spices are to die for and every meal was piping hot and cooked to PERFECTION!! The chefs speciality dishes are the ones to try! Mouth watering lamb Dum gosh and the Chicken jalfrezi was our personal favourites! THE ONLY INDIAN I WILL EAT FROM NOW! Thank you guys

I’m so pleased after hearing so many good reviews that we tried a takeaway from here. Flavours were absolutely amazing. Was delivered hot and the lady on the telephone was extremely polite and welcoming. Best curry I have had delivered in a very long time. Previous reviews about popadoms was definitely the previous owners. Will be ordering again tonight, can’t wait

We have always loved the Raj and after it has been taken over it’s just got better. The food is great quality, very tasty and there is still such a large array of food options. The new management team are friendly and very accommodating.

Having left Anwars after 1h 30m without service, we walked up the road to Raj. Ordered food, collected 20 minutes later. At home, served up 2 delicious meals, first class. Will definitely call again.

We regularly have takeaway food from the Raj and have never been dissappointed. Varied menu, beautifully cooked. Friendly, helpful staff who will deliver. We highly recommend.

Went to the raj for a takeaway today this was the first time we had been to this Indian and I must say it was one of the best we have had .friendly service and good food,we will be definitely be going back
