Great vegetarian selection and best faux meat I’ve had. Also amazing Bengan Masala Partha. Really nice place to enjoy with friends or family. Very accommodating.

Great food, fresh ingredients, always cooked to perfection no matter what you have. The mixed grill is up there as one of the best in brum in my humble opinion too. One of my favourite places to eat and get a takeaway from. Keep up the good work!

Food is always really good and have an amazing vegetarian selection. As per other reviews it does take a long time, but is worth it when it arrives. Such a shame that the service is poor and the restaurant is now saying ‘card machine not working’ and then my family went the following day with the same excuse but then when they had no cash and unable to go to a cash machine miraculously the card machine was working again but were requested to pay as much in cash as possible. Made to feel like we were causing them a massive inconvenience by paying by card. If it is the transaction fees that they want to avoid why not just say please pay in cash where possible, rather than lying about the card machine. Makes me think they are trying to avoid something else by wanting cash only. Anyway, soured the whole experience and felt dodgy/underhand and makes me think twice about going again.

The food is good but if you are looking for a good service at a restaurant then it not right place as their priority is online order.

Punjabi Dhaba is probably not everyone’s cup of tea. I personally love it even though the decor is rather uninspiring and there’s a TV with sports blaring from it all the time (especially as it used to be a rather trendy cafe). I’m Vegetarian and generally don’t tend to like meat substitutes- and you certainly don’t have to go for these at Punjabi Dhaba as there are plenty of lovely vegetarian and vegan dishes without them- but I make an exception here. Their fake (Soy) chicken is delicious, both in main dishes - think, for example, various vegan sag soya chicken dishes- but also in their starters where it’s prepared tandoori-style. Yum! The staff are lovely too and it’s licensed.

Usually this would be the 4 or 5* review as I've never had any issues before however, recently I was served real meat and not the soya option and the staff were really rude. I will not be going back and recommend all vegans to check their food before eating so you're not caught out like I was.

What a fantastic little restaurant. The food was refreshingly different from our usual local, and was clearly popular with the takeaway crowd too - people popping in all the time. Our meals were absolutely delicious and very good value. The only criticism was that it wasn't very warm in there - take a jumper! But we will certainly be back.

Went in this restaurant with friends last week when I was in town. The Curry we ate smell funny . First we thought it could be how it is but when we are more it went bad to worse. No wonder FOOD HYGIENE score is just 1. Not recommended this at all.

I've been a regular customer here for the past 2 years, however today I wasn't happy with the papri chaat. When I mentioned this to the waiter he apologised and said he will speak to the chef. When the bill came to £79 I noticed that the papri chaat wasn't taken off. When I asked the chef he said just because you didn't like it I have to charge you for it even though I go the 3-4 times month. I wont be going there again and won't recommend this restaurant again.

Wow, a hidden away little gem. Went here for my husbands birthday with family. Vegan, vegetarian and pescetarian options were plentyful. Authentic Punjabi choices, perfect portion size and total value for money. Will definitely be going there again
