The best restaurants serving Indian food in Yorkshire and The Humber

First time eating here and all I can say is wow wow wow. The best Indian meal I've had for years, tasty food, fresh ingredients with the right amount of spices without being burny hot. Will definitely be going back soon!

I got a mixed Balti, it was all curry sauce. They were 3 little bits of chicken, 2 small pieces of meat, and 3 tiny prawns. My partner called the head of the house over, he said he would have a word with the chef. He never came back. We averagely got his attention, he apologised and said the chef said it was a fair portion. The food tasted ok, and we had no complaints about my partner's food. My partner said we were not happy paying full price for my food, so he brought the Bill and charged us the full price. My partner confronted him, but I said I'd pay full price but we wouldn't return.

This was the best Indian food we’ve ever had to takeaway. Absolutely delicious. The cheese and garlic naan was amazing - so cheesy! Very generous portions - enough for the next day. Extensive menu, plenty to choose from, I really liked that most dishes could be chicken/lamb/prawn or paneer. Staff were friendly and service was quick and efficient. We will definitely be back when we’re in the area. Highly recommend.

Not had much luck with take aways in Hull in particular Asian ones, this was superb, one of the if not the best Dopiaza we have had, more expensive than many but truly worth it.

Food is good. Nice option if you are looking for Indian food in Scarborough station.

Amazing Experience at Royal King Grill! I absolutely loved my visit to Royal King Grill! The food was absolutely delicious—flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Every bite was a treat! But what really stood out was the customer service. The staff were super friendly, attentive, and made me and my family feel so welcome. They were quick to assist with anything we needed and made sure everything was just right. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and service are this good. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience!

El peor restaurante indio que hemos visitado. El servicio fue extremadamente lento esperó más de una hora entre cursos. Las pakoras de pollo eran solo trozos de pollo insípido y las chuletas de cordero se quemaron en un pedazo crujiente. Pedí pollo con chile y ajo. Llegó tibio así que lo devolví. Cuando regresó no pude comerlo. Pedazos de pollo duro en una salsa insípida... terrible. Lo devolví. No me ofrecieron una alternativa que no hubiera tenido de todos modos, ya que habíamos tenido que esperar tanto tiempo. Cuando llegó el proyecto de ley, el principal todavía estaba en él a pesar de que solo había tenido una bocazas. Se negó a pagar por ello. En retrospectiva debería haber pagado por las bebidas y se fue. Nunca volvería.

Restaurant lacks atmosphere but the food is good

Spur of the moment visit for us and didn’t disappoint! Really efficient service and great quality food!
