Arrived over half an hour late - food cold. Terrible service !

rice was cold when it eventually arrived. had to microwave. also we didn't get the garlic naan we ordered. last 3 times the food has been late. will use a different Indian from now on.

Great flavour, but lacking in spice and temperature. I’ve had hotter salsa..

I am late doing my review but I will say I ordered of here a few times now and I have to say that the lamb tikka masala was out of this world so yummy and tasty very well cooked. if I could I have it every day. it the best Indian restaurant I have had. why not give it a go you won't be disappointed and ofcourse I will order again for sure the rice was lovely too

Excellent food delivered on time and hot

we were Disappointed with our meal this evening. Normally it is spot on but tonight both the Garlic Naans were cold and had a fishy taste to them. The main dish for my husband was luke warm and he had to re-heat it in the microwave. Also the poppadoms had a fishy taste to them. Hope this is just a one off as the Parvin is our favourite Indian takeaway. cheers

I've been told to go to the Parvin for years. I didnt think they delivered! I got the most delicious seek kebabs and chicken patia Ever! last night. The food was the best Indian food I've had for a long time! Thank you! and will order again!

Good meals & reasonably ok pick up time….

1 hour late which the restaurant blamed on the weather yet the delivery driver blamed on under staffing. Also wouldn't refund any money even tho it was 1 hour late.

Was a little bit late but traffic and time of year exceptable

lovely food as usual, shame they didn't give me the large extra butter chicken.

Food is delicious - BUT I stopped ordering from here as much because they ALWAYS get something wrong on the order. This time they sent no mixed pickle for the poppadoms it’s just irritating. Other restaurants can get the order right everytime.

The food was tasty but the bag had been rocked about enough to lose a load of sauce, and it was pretty cold when it reached me.

Decided to give Parvin a go instead of our regular takeaway. So glad we did. I think this will become our new regular. Great service. Great portions. Great food.

Lovely food. And a 10 star rating for the delivery driver he was quick and extremely polite.

To be honest it wasn’t worth the price we paid. Onion Bhaji’s were rock hard in middle. poppadoms stunk of stale oil. Dal was bland. Okra wasn’t cooked thoroughly. Best part was chapatis. Cant fault the chapatis. One of the bests I’ve have ever had. Nan bread was too rubbery. Not worth the price if I’m being honest. Will just pop in for chapatis.

The curry had lots of flavour but was clearly the scrapings out the bottom of the day's food. I paid for a garlic naan and received two day-old dried out, burnt peshwari naans, that I couldn't face even trying.

All good again , food tasty and piping hot , a very tasty Sunday treat .

Food was delicious and plenty of it however £3 for delivery from Haxby to New Earswick is rather expensive which would probably stop me ordering from them again.

Restaurant quality marked as ‘alright’ because they answered the phone quickly when we rang them to check on the late delivery. Next time we will order direct and collect ourselves. We won’t use just eat.

This is our "go to" for a curry. Never had a bad experience here. Absolutely recommend, Absolutely fabulous.

The curry was good but the naan was like rubber

Hi , food great again, delivery little earlier than expected so that's good , one issue in that one meal had got squashed in the bag and leaked quite a bit of juice into the bag, so this made a bit of a mess in the bag and over other items . This has not happened with past orders though.

We’ve use the Parvin a number of times in the past and the food and service has always been excellent. Not sure what happened last night but the delivery was over an hour late and was missing one of the two curries (which was quickly rectified when I called). The food was very tasty but unfortunately both meals were only lukewarm. Would still order in the future but maybe not the weekend before ChristmS ☹️
