The Parvin in York

El restaurante era precioso no podía recomendar más, tenía un ambiente encantador, el personal era amable y la comida era increíble! Tampoco se sintió apresurado, una comida perfecta por la noche.

Después de haber utilizado el Parvin durante años, lamentablemente no ha estado cumpliendo con las expectativas recientemente. Hay que reconocer que soy un cobarde y mi comida favorita es una korma, pero ahora hace demasiado calor que no puedo disfrutarla. Es una lástima que solía ser muy sabroso. Ahora es simplemente dominado por la especia. Tristemente no puedo verme ordenando desde aquí de nuevo.

¡Un ambiente encantador, relajado y familiar! Deliciosa comida y un menú amplio! El servicio era atento y eficiente! ¡No podía pedir más!

A pesar de que el lugar estaba muy ocupado el personal era brillante y la comida era buena, sí, esperaste un poco más, pero vale la pena

Primera visita a The Parvin, y por desgracia será la última. Reservé una mesa para el sábado por la noche con unos pocos amigos (por desgracia Paddy Fields estaba reservado) , estábamos sentados rápidamente y las bebidas pedidos tomados, primera bandera roja era la bebida equivocada que se sirve. Esperamos 30 minutos y nadie vino a tomar nuestra orden de comida, así que tuvimos que ir al bar a pedir que alguien tomara nuestra orden. Otros 45 minutos antes de que nuestra comida finalmente llegara, fuimos la última mesa en el restaurante en ser servida, habiendo sido sentada a las 7 : 30 pm, finalmente tenemos nuestra comida a las 8: 50 pm (y no pedimos entrantes! ) Todos pedimos panes naan, y nos entregaron los equivocados a la mitad, lo que resultó en otros 5 minutos de espera para que se cocinaran los correctos. Mi pasada de cordero era muy dura, y la salsa extremadamente dulce. Tuve que dejar la mayor parte. Le he dado 2 estrellas ya que mis amigos tuvieron mejor suerte con sus platos, y afortunadamente el naan de ajo y queso estaba muy sabroso. Honestamente estábamos cerca de salir después de esperar más de una hora para nuestra comida, y no tenía disculpas del personal por la espera. Definitivamente no volveré.

Acabo de tomar un Cordero Balti para llevar de aquí. No eran muy amables, pero amablemente me permitieron cambiar el pan nan por arroz moglai. ¡Pero acabo de volver a mi hotel para descubrir que tampoco me han dado! El balti era un típico desastre aceitoso, del tipo que a menudo se obtiene en una mala vivienda - restaurante indio finca, así que decidí que no valía la pena mi tiempo caminando todo el camino de vuelta para obtener mi arroz. Así que comprueba que te han dado lo que ordenaste o, mejor aún, vete a otro sitio.

fue en 24 / 8 para mi cumpleaños con mi hija. la comida era tan agradable pero mala actitud de casi todo el personal. primer camarero parecía de mal humor. segundo camarero me dijo cuando pedí el biryani mientras agitaba la cabeza hacia mí por pedir arroz que se mezcló en. después de comer en otro lugar y no tener arroz servido, pedí arroz de todos modos. me burló de que me verá comerlo entonces. mi hija pidió otra bebida mientras ya estaba tomando una bebida alcohólica y él dio una mirada de actitud simple que ella estaba pidiendo un 2o. seguramente eso es más dinero en el bolsillo de los restaurantes. cuando mi biryani salió, el arroz estaba en un plato de septiembre así que no 'mezclado en' así que lo envié de vuelta. no se explicó en ese caso. pero el hombre original con una mala actitud habló en su idioma al servidor y sí recogí la palabra 'arroz' mientras en mi mesa hablando entre ustedes. así que gracias por hacerme sentir estúpido en mi cumpleaños. no vivo en ningún lugar cerca de este lugar pero no volveré si vuelvo otra vez. no todos van a un restaurante indio todo el tiempo y no todos los restaurantes sirven platos lo mismo. nos quedamos una hora empezar a terminar y no podíamos esperar para salir. qué pena. la comida era encantadora sin embargo. el personal más joven también era encantador. por favor tome clases de su personal más joven.

Absolutely gutted, kids eagerly wait for food...its inedible. Chips n bhajis rock hard, passanda sauce solidified. Agree to refund, then pass the book to just eat. £33 wasted. Will be reviewing on media.

I've ordered from the Parvin before, the food is usually really nice. But this order came late, so when it arrived it wasn't hot. The naan was smaller than it used to be, and chewy. Very disappointed this time.

The food tasted amazing but was not very hot and it took an hour and a half to arrive. They must have been busy

Arrived over half an hour late - food cold. Terrible service !

rice was cold when it eventually arrived. had to microwave. also we didn't get the garlic naan we ordered. last 3 times the food has been late. will use a different Indian from now on.

Always 10/10 never had a bad one to date. And the curries actually taste different to each other! The buffet is decent on a Sunday as well. I’ve seen bengal lounge is 2nd but I had it last Sunday and it’s not the same as Parvin

Wow. Not much more to say. The Garlic chicken chilli naga. Absolutely stunning. Plenty of chicken in the dish. Spices to match. It's been a while since we've had a takeaway from here. The Mrs had a lamb passanda. She's happy with hers. Had a couple of the Bombay Bicycle IPA. Very nice 🍺😋💪. Certainly won't be long before we're back again. Definitely compliments to the chef on this culinary delight 👏👏👏👏👏👏

I am late doing my review but I will say I ordered of here a few times now and I have to say that the lamb tikka masala was out of this world so yummy and tasty very well cooked. if I could I have it every day. it the best Indian restaurant I have had. why not give it a go you won't be disappointed and ofcourse I will order again for sure the rice was lovely too

Excellent food delivered on time and hot

we were Disappointed with our meal this evening. Normally it is spot on but tonight both the Garlic Naans were cold and had a fishy taste to them. The main dish for my husband was luke warm and he had to re-heat it in the microwave. Also the poppadoms had a fishy taste to them. Hope this is just a one off as the Parvin is our favourite Indian takeaway. cheers

I've been told to go to the Parvin for years. I didnt think they delivered! I got the most delicious seek kebabs and chicken patia Ever! last night. The food was the best Indian food I've had for a long time! Thank you! and will order again!

Was a little bit late but traffic and time of year exceptable

1 hour late which the restaurant blamed on the weather yet the delivery driver blamed on under staffing. Also wouldn't refund any money even tho it was 1 hour late.

lovely food as usual, shame they didn't give me the large extra butter chicken.

Food is delicious - BUT I stopped ordering from here as much because they ALWAYS get something wrong on the order. This time they sent no mixed pickle for the poppadoms it’s just irritating. Other restaurants can get the order right everytime.

To be honest it wasn’t worth the price we paid. Onion Bhaji’s were rock hard in middle. poppadoms stunk of stale oil. Dal was bland. Okra wasn’t cooked thoroughly. Best part was chapatis. Cant fault the chapatis. One of the bests I’ve have ever had. Nan bread was too rubbery. Not worth the price if I’m being honest. Will just pop in for chapatis.

The curry had lots of flavour but was clearly the scrapings out the bottom of the day's food. I paid for a garlic naan and received two day-old dried out, burnt peshwari naans, that I couldn't face even trying.

All good again , food tasty and piping hot , a very tasty Sunday treat .
