The best restaurants serving Indian food in West Midlands

We came here to escape a beige meal at Alton Towers. We had a really good meal with friendly service. Gladly altered spice of dish on request and served all dishes as we asked to help with hungry kids. The portions were a good size with accurate descriptions of flavour. Certainly worth a visit.

I been coming here for a few years,food is fairly good,yesterday I picked up by takeaway, I order the biggest mix grill, there's was no onions with the grill,food was very dry, normally there's onions with the grill,the takeaway,also the lady who serving me at the counter speaks very sharp,I was verify what I've ordered was not listening to me properly, just saying yes yes, I hadn't finished talking ,more interesting taking payment, I think this is very unrespectfull, I mentioned this too owner before same lady ,it's second time she has spoke this way, if she speaks like this again I will stop using yr service

Just delicious food (especially the Dosa!) and a lovely restaurant. We will definitely return.

Went for Sunday buffet when we got there at 5pm no one was in greeted by a lovely lady who asked if we wouldn’t mind waiting while they cooked everything from fresh we said not a problem five minutes later she returned to say the starters were ready. They were fresh and very tasty by the time we had finished our starters, the mains had been cooked fresh a few other people were now in the restaurant at this time and the service was excellent extremely pleasant staff. The food was hot and tasty. And in our opinion was well worth the money and we will return.

This review is for a take away only, had a stunning Chicken Tandoori balti, however it came in a small plastic container and wasn't even full, also no complimentary poppadoms or salad as all other restaurants in Coleshill do.Thats why only 3 star

Ordered from here after a break of quite a few years after moving quite far away. It used to be our favourite place, the food is still really good, family of 5 all really enjoyed it, we'll make the journey to come back again soon

Brilliant food, brilliant service. Had a small issue with the curry spilling in the bag. They sent me a new order right out, can't fault the service and very tasty food at that, best curry about highly recommend 👌

Korma was very watery. The sauces were still frozen. Chips were burnt.

Excellent experience. Food was authentic and service from Anmol and Rashmi was brilliant. It was my partners birthday and Anmol, Rashmi got a cake out even without asking. What a treat! A memorable experience. Will definitely visit again!

I would say best Indian in Hereford. Food is so good and staff always so nice. Madras is so tasty

A Fiery Delight from Takaa Tak! Takaa Tak in Oldbury has truly mastered the art of curry! The dish we had was an absolute triumph – a lovely blend of authentic spices that burst with flavor. Each bite delivered a delightful chilli kick, which, remarkably, subsided beautifully once the meal was finished, leaving behind only the memory of fantastic taste. Even my son, a first-timer with a hot curry, polished off his plate, a testament to how utterly delicious it was. Our compliments to the chef – you've won us over!
